Soup and salad
Dave W.

This is Panera Bread, so will get good healthy food at a reasonable price. First the food. My choice was the Green Goddess Chicken salad and new Tika Indian Soup (see pics). The Green Goddess Chicken salad was really good. The Tika Indian Soup was not my favorite (will stick to creamy tomato soup next time). My buddy had the Turkey BLT which was huge and he really liked it. He got whole baguette to go as well. FYI: We hiked at nearby Umstead State Park, which has great well maintained trails. Service was prompt by friendly staff. This is one of the biggest Panera Breads I have ever been to. Lots of customers with minimal wait times. Clean inside and outside. Worth a visit.

Sourdough Bread Bowl 2-Pack and Mac & Cheese - Group

Ordered mac and cheese in a bread bowl and when I got home I opened the bag to a mac and cheese and 3 slices of bread. Other sandwiches I were burnt and salads were missing ingredients.

Happy Friday! I was home watching tv when I realized I was hungry and didn't feel like making anything. I checked my phone & discovered a $3 off Panera coupon and that made my decision. I drove over and Mobile ordered my previously ordered steak & white cheddar sandwich w/chips. Yummm, so delicious, fast order fulfillment, nice ambiance. Will definitely return. Unika B. & Co.

Forgot to take a picture when I opened it!

Let me tell y'all something ( do I sound "SOUTHERN?")... lol... One of my IG Friends posted about the flatbreads at Panera and I thought that it "looked" really good and that maybe I should give it a try! B-A-B-Y!!!!!!! Let me tell you, this thang (in my most SOUTHERNESS ACCENT EVER) is something really good! I decided that Christmas leftovers were a no go after 2 days and needed something else! I went to Panera and ordered the CHICKEN BACON FLATBREAD (I'm gonna to attempt to give up pork in 2021 - but I'm not making any promises.. anyway...) without tomatoes and its so good! I'm am going to go back to try the Margherita and Cheese options! Check it out "y'all!"

Best customer service at Panera and very grateful for manager Eric who helped me with my order on New Years Eve! Fantastic hospitality from staff, great food and cleanliness! I recommend this location!

Open or closed??? Says open but doors locked

Sunday 4pm... doors closed despite sign saying 4pm, workers in. Ack, and manager doing paperwork in computer- NO SIGNS INDICATING CLOSED... POOR BUSINESS!!!! I've seen at least 10 customers leave in disgust. A sign indicating closed would have been sufficient folks!!!

We don't ever really eat Panera but we decided to today. One of the best perks is that they have WiFi. I ordered the chipotle avocado sandwich + an apple (my husband pointed out that the apple was rotten, so I traded it for chips), my son had the Mac & Cheese +yogurt and my husband had a cinnamon raisin bagel. The pricing was nice. We ended up getting a parking space near the door which was perfect because it was raining. I can see the parking being a hassle on busier days. The overall taste of the food was fair. I felt the chipotle sandwich was average. My son ate all of his Mac and cheese which is a positive sign right? The employees were also really nice. Nevertheless, we enjoyed lunch here.

The also has all the side condiments you would want to go with your pho which is hard to find around here. The service was also amazing, they sat us down quickly, took our orders almost right away, and the food came out in about 10-15 minutes. The restaurant itself was well decorated, bright, and clean. It photographs beautifully. Unfortunately, restaurants aren't judged on lighting. We ordered everything upfront: Banh Xeo (explicitly no shrimp due to a shellfish allergy), Cha Gio, Pho Tai, and the Chef Special. Somehow, not everything was entered correctly. The Banh Xeo arrived covered in shrimp. Allergy clearly stated. It was sent back immediately. We were told they could remake it, but it would "take a while because it takes a long time to make." Banh Xeo takes under 10 minutes in a properly run kitchen. We declined and assumed the rest of our meal would arrive promptly. It didn't. The egg rolls weren't just fried, they were fully baptized in oil. One bite and it felt like chewing on a sponge that lost a fight with the fryer. Then we watched tables seated at least 15 minutes after us receive their food before we did. When we asked about the remainder of our order, we were told it had "just been added" and would take a while. Pho taking 35+ minutes in a Vietnamese restaurant isn't high volume. It's disorganization. The Chef Special was decent. The pho, which should be the backbone of the menu, was underwhelming. Several tables around us had incorrect orders or long delays. The owner circulated, but instead of urgency or accountability, the energy felt inconvenienced. Here's the reality: great atmosphere can draw people in once. Food and leadership bring them back. If you're going because it looks trendy and buzzing, go in with eyes open. The aesthetic might be the star of the room, but the food should be.

The reason I gave it 4 stars was because the dumplings were disappointing. They were not warm and the dumpling dough was thick. We got the David's dumplings and the crispy spicy wontons. I tipped 15% because the service was terrible. Aside from the lady yelling, "It's okay?" from the kitchen, she never checked on me. Usually, I tip between 25-30%. The kind of place you can go for a relaxed dinner or to host friends from out of town, and still feel confident in the quality of the experience. I went with my husband and a family friend who was visiting, and it was a great setting for catching up. The ambiance strikes a nice balance between polished and comfortable. I especially liked the rich blue tones inside and the overhead lanterns, which give the space a warm, inviting feel. There's also a outdoor patio, though at 96 degrees, we opted to sit inside. I'll admit I didn't do a great job capturing photos, but everything we ordered was excellent. We started with samosas, veg pakora, and beet cutlets (which my husband hadn't had since moving to the U.S. for grad school over a decade ago). We also ordered a mango lassi, the bread basket, malai kofta, balti chicken, and lamb biryani. A few highlights: Portions are generous The spice levels are accurate "medium" and "medium hot" both had a noticeable level of heat, which isn't always the case locally The lamb biryani stood out (my husband said it's the best biriyani he's had in North Carolina) Service was also great. The owner stopped by our table multiple times and was warm and engaging. She even shared how to make a strawberry lassi with our friend, which was a thoughtful touch. One practical note: the restaurant is downtown, and there's a surface parking lot directly next to it that uses ParkMobile, which makes parking straightforward. We're already planning to return.

I was thrilled that most of the menu was available. They were just out of the banana pudding. So I got to try the pecan wings I read about with the white sauce. It was so good. Then I got the chicken pot pie and biscuits. The pot pie had old biscuits for the topping, but the creamy mixture with large chunks of chicken was delicious. My biscuits came with honey and were served warm. I left with a slice of the chocolate-caramel-coconut cake, a side salad without onions, and a fried boneless thigh. The salad was made correctly, and the dressing was included. The salad was full of veggies, and the cake was rich and moist. Service was friendly and as soon as I finished my iced tea, another appeared. My wings were brought out first and it was a while for the rest of the meal as the restaurant was full. But they didn't rush me at all. I actually liked the space between the dishes, as I might not have been able to eat it all otherwise. I couldn't finish both biscuits and was even provided a container for the honey. I am going to miss Beasley's, but I'm glad I got a positive experience to remember the restaurant.
