We love the Sip Club! We've been to dozens of Panera locations in four different states so far. The staff here were friendly and helpful. The coffee was delicious as always. The patio needed and dining room needed to be cleaned a bit.

Just a quick lunch break here. Based on their seasonal Asian crunch salad I made my own creation - and here is my tip: Whenever a restaurant has an app I'll always use that to order since it gives you all the options. At Panera it's never cheap but you get your salad or sandwich the way you want it. And as a side of my "you take two" I'll had the seasonal Mexican street corn soup. Ends with a bear claw and we have a happy helper.

I temper my expectations when ordering from Panera and even then I often find myself disappointed. Ordered a turkey, avocado, bacon sandwich and it was blah. A couple pieces of avocado wrapped up with cold, flavorless stuff. On a positive note, the soup was good and was enough for a lunch's. I enjoy the small piece of bread for dipping.

Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich, I have to share mine! It's got cut-in-half grapes, there's tomatoes & slivers of almonds.

2nd time we have food to go, or ate there, during the pandemic! We ordered by phone, we were parked right there in front of the restaurant, talking to them. (OT: A SUV / car crashed, behind us, both backing up at the same time, no one was hurt). We ordered: Bacon Turkey Bravo Sandwich, it came with chips, so don't order by phone, and a pickle. Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich, also with chips & a pickle. Broccoli Cheddar Soup. It wasn't long, before the clerk came out to give us our order. Yes, it was fast! Yes, my husband looked inside the bag, and NO he didn't take everything out, HE TRUSTED PANERA, then we drove away to have a picnic @ the marina. Once we got there, we realized, they forgot to put my husband's sandwich in the bag! I called right away, to let them know. Luckily, it's on the way BACK HOME, to our home! The mail clerk, apologized, he said there's a goodie inside the bag. Thank you! That will be for our dinner. Let's see, I'm not a YELP ELITE member for nothing I'd give you a 4-5 stars, next time? If the food wasn't so good . . .you just need to improve the CS part, OK?

I think a lot of the reviews are more based on Covid and whatnot. Because I've eaten at this location and my wife has been a few times and there's been no complaints. The food is consistent just like any other Panera Bread, the staff was friendly, and the place was clean. I mean there's not really much else you can ask for. I tried the grilled mac and cheese sandwich which is a newer item and it was super good. Pair it with the tomato soup. I don't go to Panera Bread all the time but it's definitely a good place for a cheap lunch. Pro tip: If you have an Amex Platinum card, they have a free six months of the Unlimited Sip Club which is basically free coffee every day. So if you like Panera Bread coffee and tea and you have an Amex Platinum, it's a good deal.

Thanks to the helpful Yelp app, I was able to select Walter French's for gps directions and continued onward to Portland. Good parking karma, as I was able to snag a parking spot right by the Alberta Arts food truck pod entrance. Very nice and welcoming person greeted me at the window. I ordered the #2 Big Dom with Olympic Provisions salami cotto & capicola, ham, provolone, shrettuce, tomato, onions, red wine vinaigrette, mayo, oregano all encased in a hoagie roll. I requested for no cherry pepper relish and banana peppers. I was glad that the generous sandwich was nicely wrapped, sliced in half, and placed in a compostable container. I ate half onsite since there was outdoor seating availability. The other half I ended up placing in my hotel room's fridge. I ended up gutting that latter half two days later and ate the meat/cheese/tomato - charcuterie style. Perfect protein snack at a rest stop detour before continuing homeward bound. Revisiting Portland after two years and this was my first stop! The Big Dom hit the spot!

This time around, we happened to be shopping nearby before lunch and were able to make it in. This was at around noon on Saturday and it wasn't too busy at all even with the great sunny weather. We were only a bit peckish at the time, since we had just eaten three pints of fresh Hood strawberries, so we opted to share one sandwich. I quickly placed the order at the single kiosk (only kiosk ordering is available) and the sandwich arrived soon afterwards. Interestingly enough the chef somehow knew we were sharing the sandwich and had it split into two wrapped packages instead of a single one. Really nice gesture and shows how attentive he is. Now the sandwich quality, unfortunately, didn't meet my expectations. The O.G. ($17) - The sandwich first starts with a nice and crusty Ciabatta roll bun from Dos Hermanos. It's served slightly toasted warm and has plenty of chewy developed flavor inside. The bottom bun is slathered with some mayo. For this sandwich, putting the mayo on the bottom is actually really important and done correctly. This allows the creaminess of the mayo to dampen some (but not enough, as will be described later) of the slaw on top of the pastrami. I tried eating the sandwich both right-side-up and upside-down and it's a totally different eating experience due to the sandwich construction. On top of the mayo are probably ten thinly shaved slices of pastrami. It's smoky and seasoned well with plenty of peppery flavor, but it doesn't stand out very much especially due to the onslaught of slaw. To identify the pastrami flavors at all, I had to remove pieces from the sandwich to eat individually. By far the most numerous element of the sandwich is the banh mi inspired slaw. It basically consists of a tiny amount of small cubed carrots, pickled to give a little acidity and extra crunch, a bit of red onion, tiny pieces of cucumber and an overwhelming amount of crunchy cabbage. Think of a real banh mi - the large sticks of cucumber and the julienned carrot and daikon, all distinct and delicious. That's not this slaw. In this slaw, everything is all mixed together into a blend that muddles the ingredients together into a mess. The slaw is dressed in a ton of hazelnut chili crisp. I actually couldn't identify the flavor as hazelnut, instead thinking it was peanut. It's smoky and only slightly spicy, but it's also really acidic, really overpowering. It's a ridiculously strong flavor that completely dominates everything else in the sandwich. As I stated before, I literally couldn't taste the pastrami at all over the acidic chili crisp and slaw. The meat gets completely lost. I'm really wondering if the chef only read the Acid section of Samin Nosrat's seminal book? I'm not a fan of this sandwich at all. It's lopsided in construction, way too much chili crisp and slaw, muddling all of the flavors underneath the slaw. There was so much chili oil that it made a large puddle underneath my sandwich and I had to reorganize and fold the butcher paper to prevent the oil from running out and staining the table. I had to do this several times while eating, balancing the paper after every couple of bites. The slaw pooled out of the sandwich, falling onto the paper, yet it was so runny I had to use to fork to pick up the pieces, lest I cover my hands in spicy oil. Looking around, I wasn't the only one to run into this issue. If I have to use a fork to eat a sandwich, yet still have a mess on my hands, well this shop has lost the plot. I'm also confused how exactly is this sandwich is "banh mi" inspired. The only overlap is the pitiful amount of pickled carrots. Nothing else here goes in banh mi. It's their take on it, but fails to capture the essence. (2/5) I like sandwiches that have good flavor and balanced construction. The sandwich I received at Pasture PDX was anything but. It was honestly one of the worst sandwiches I've eaten in recent memory. Bathrooms - Single unisex room

Low and slow. Hell, skip the quality ingredients. Get generic white bread and American cheese. It'll still be good. To their credit, they didn't screw it up. The chips were crunchy.
