Finally has a chance to try their subs after friends and co-workers kept talking about how good it is. We stopped in on a Saturday and it didn't get busy until after we ordered our subs. I placed an order using their app. I arrived at the designated time to pickup my order. They told me my order was not ready and it would be ready in a couple of minutes. After about five minutes they tried to give me someone else's order. I waited for twenty minutes and my order was still not ready. I asked how much longer and they told me my order would be next. I told the manager my order was supposed to be ready over twenty minutes prior. I told the manager I did Not want to wait any longer and asked for a refund. The manager didn't say sorry or offer me any compensation for my wait. I ordered online with Jersey Mikes while I was waiting. I drove to Jersey Mikes and they had my order all ready for pickup. It would have been nice if they would have given me a different time or offer me something for my wait. I guess Firehouse doesn't care about their customers. I will not be back. read more

Ordered the NY Steamer which is sort of Reubenesque as it has pastrami as the main meat. Flavor was good but a bit disappointed in quantity and quality of pastrami in the sandwich. Maybe I'm jaded by other sandwich shops which pile the meat high. But here, it seemed you get only about 2/3 the amount as other places. I wanted to use 8000 of my reward points to get a small sub. That's all I wanted. Obviously if I have a lot of reward points I've been a frequent customer and spent a lot of money there. This is the only Forehouse Subs I've eaten at. Not anymore. The app wouldn't let me finish unless there was a $0.01 cent addition. Neither the kid at the register nor the seemingly way too young manager knew what to do. They COULD have done something, anything to accommodate a good customer, but they didn't even seem to want to try. This site used to have good personnel. Compared with other shops under the same brand the sandwiches from this location are definitely subpar not only in taste, but also have been skimped on the ingredients. The worst part is that each of the last two times I have ordered sandwiches for pick up. They have failed to meet the promised time via at least 10 minutes. in my opinion, these are both failures of management and should be addressed by management. The employees who were working on each of my visits appeared to be hard at work and doing the best they could with the tools they were provided. The staff needs training badly. They are rude disrespectful of others. Their board menu is confusing and misleading. My husband tried one while working out of town and wanted me to try it since he was impressed. I got to say that I don't give full amount of star ratings but if there were more stars to give I would. This is located by the Vancouver Mall. It's a great use of space. Seating inside and outside is plentiful. All of the counter employees were friendly & welcoming. That it had "Coke" instead of Pepsi products was the icing on the cake. I generally don't like warm subs but this was amazing...with the wide selection of sandwich choices you can go wrong...The chili was not as good as the "fireman" chill I've had before but it was good...The Mac N Cheese was cheesy but needed more spice (not sauce which they had plenty of) and Baked Potato Soup was also disappointing. Always crunchy lettuce, etc. Pickup time estimates are right on: They were maybe 5 minutes late...once. My favorites are a custom Italian and the straight Meatball. Issue stems from online orders with requesting "no pickle" - which is a blatant option since they don't seem to miss any of the other options I request.. only to be disappointed by having it included. In our experience, Subway set the bar for flavorless food, but Firehouse somehow has them beat. If blindfolded, we'd never be able to identify what we were eating in the sandwich. Meats, vegetables, etc. all absolutely flavorless. Quizno's has the same problem, but they drown their flavorless fodder in absurd quantities of strong sauces to try to cover it. I really love a good sub, hero, grinder, SAMMICH...... whatever you like to call them. Today marks my first foray into a firehouse, and they did not disappoint! As a matter of fact, it was one of the best Italian subs I've ever ate! The store itself was clean, the staff were very helpful with this green horn. I actually went in wanting a philly, but the picture of that Italian on the wall won my heart! I like all the hot sauces too, I used their house hot sauce, captain someone's something or other, it was really good, spicy but also sweet. My only complaint? Pricing. One large sub, chips and drink was close to $15....kinda steep yo. That's why only 4 stars. But that's the only bitch I've got for em, good sub and awesome people working there, I will return for that philly!!! read more

I have been here before Covid ,during Covid ,and after Covid. I'd say about 10 to 12 times and the service is the exact same every time ... Horrible!!!! They are slower than molasses .!! I went in the other day with a friend I ordered a sub it took 22 minutes to get it . There were three people behind the counter, one guy was taking trash out ,one person was putting ice in the machine and then she was walking around with a clipboard and I saw her counting bags of potato chip's !!!!! Are you kidding me ,there's people in here that need to be waited on . Where is the management??? My friend ordered a cup of soup and she said this doesn't take like taste like chicken and dumpling soup the guy goes yeah we just realized we gave you the wrong soup.! My sandwich had no taste to it at all! I don't know what in the world is going on with this place but it's horrible . I really wish that some management would secret shop this place several times during the week . They'd get an eyeful!! I went in a couple months ago and literally there were probably about 8 people waiting and the guy immediately yelled out "ma'am just so you know your order is gonna take a while so it's up to you but it's probably gonna be 20 or 30 minutes ."
