The parking was very easy and I strolled in. I was greeted right away by the friendly staff and was able to place my order. The food came out promptly. There are a few vegan options here but I went with one of my favorites, which is the Mediterranean bowl. I love the fresh veggies and hummus mix and everything here was perfectly ripe and crisp. I loved the seasonings and flavors. The restaurant was very clean and tidy with lots of available tables. The seating was comfortable and the ambiance was nice and relaxing. I had forgotten to order the free focaccia that comes with the bowl (I didn't realize you had to request it!) and the employee working was so accommodating and brought me one to my table! I'm obsessed with the fluffiness of the focaccia bread and it is a must order when there! I felt great after eating there and ready to take on the night! I would definitely return the next time I'm in Oxnard!

I was looking for somewhere new to eat in the Ventura area and I came across Hummus Republic. I've…read morebeen to this plaza many times I've been to all the stores next to it and used to come here when it used to to be another business. To be totally honest, I was a little bit intimidated by how the process works. But I assume caught on that. It was almost like a chipotle kind of style place. I decided to go with a bowl. I was able to choose between three types of different bases, and I went with the basmati rice and the couscous was able to choose a couple of salad options as well. Luckily, we were able to mix and match since I can never make a decision on getting All three types of greens that they have. Then moved over to the hummus section and I was able to get the three most popular hummus flavors, which I actually don't remember what I got. I know one of them was an olive flavored one and another one was a little more spicy. Then over to the protein side of things, you can mix up to two different choices, and some of the other options there is an upgrade fee. Then removed over to the toppings and these are all unlimited and so I was able to get feta cheese, tomatoes, olives, purple cabbage, everything was so endless and amazing At the very end, you're able to choose two different kind of sauces and at the very end, my bowl was actually pretty heavy in weight but most importantly it was very delicious Thank you to the team member here that was very helpful and walked me through the process. I think I might've been too overwhelmed. Otherwise I might've just opted for the burger which I may still have to try next time. The sweet potato fries also look very good and I will have to try those next time for sure. There's a ton of parking spots right outside. I can't get a little bit busy here so she'll be so many different food options but generally, I haven't really had an issue with finding a spot.

On one of my visits a group of girls that had been drinking too much wanted to beat up the bartender . There was no one else working with her . This is a safety hazard there should be at least two people working together at times at the bar. I would suggest the owner care a bit more about his staff . It took awhile for security to show up and they were a bit weak. Just a note ... later at night ... like anywhere , I guess, people are stupid wannabe immature stuck in high school trouble makers.

This new store is still clean and sparkly. Walked in and about two groups were ahead of me but they move the line fast. I was able to take in the space while I waited and I liked the decor and atmosphere. It's a spot I'd happily stay to dine in since it was clean and spacious. Both indoor and outdoor seating options. I found the staff to be friendly but uniform. I did appreciate that one of the more seasoned staff members topped off my proteins seeing as the new guy in training shorted me (I didn't notice since it was my first time) but I thought that was really nice and thoughtful of the staff. Showed genuine care and fixed it without making it a big deal or calling out the new staff in front of a customer. Definitely good customer service here and they move you along so a good spot if you're in a rush or on a quick lunch. The food overall was good and made to order is always a nice touch as you can fully customize to your taste. I went with a rice and lentils base with hummus and feta. Loaded up on different veggies (all fresh and tasty) and did half chicken and half steak. Ended with some sauces and grabbed a lemonade to go. My meal overall was a 3.5/5. It's a tasty bowl but the proteins did seem a little dry/well done. That's just how it goes sometime when they make proteins in larger bashes. Not the end of the world given that I had to pay a little bit more for the steak... I would've preferred the steak cooked to my liking, but they are just gonna go with a general medium well char to appeal to a larger audience/food safety guidelines I'm sure for pass production. Would I come back? Definitely. Glad I finally tried this newer spot in Ventura.

I opted for the Biscuit and Gravy. The biscuit was soft and fluffy. The gravy was nice with sausage bits in it. It wasn't anything that wowed me with flavor, but it was a decent bite. The two eggs over hard were prepared exactly as I had ordered. Nothing special about these eggs; they tasted good and were exactly what I wanted. The sausage link was typical; nothing exciting about it. The bacon was a bit more limp than I would have liked, but the flavor was tasty. Grand Slam Burrito This was a really tasty burrito! I enjoyed this a lot. The hash browns brought a lot of flavor to the egg, sausage, and bacon burrito. The cheese wrapped around everything in the tortilla was nice.Combined with the tomato based salsa served on the side, this burrito gets high marks from me! The restaurant seemed well-kept and clean, and the staff seemed to be taking care of all the details to make this a nice environment. Service was excellent.
