A terrific tuna sandwich on a hot day

How can this place get only 2 stars ?? Not only the food is terrific but the people working here are very sweet & helpful . It's very clean, loved my sandwich , was delicious, fresh and very cold as it should have been . The breads here are fab . Also alongside other establishments this place is on par with the pricing craziness.

Why a reluctant 2 stars? They do social distance, and wipe down the tables. Didn't notice gloves on the cashiers. I've eaten at Panera's, before the pandemic, and wasn't disappointed. Ordered the steak and cheddar sandwich and a Pepsi; nothing exotic. $11.98. It took close to 20 minutes to make and they weren't busy. What an unpleasant surprise when it finally was ready for pick up. It came with a piece of a baguette. Ripped from the middle of a bigger one. What no knives in the kitchen?! And just 2 small paper napkins. Well considering the size of the sandwich I guess that's more than enough? See the photos: it was more of a bread sandwich. 4 pathetic tiny slices of meat and about a 1/2 teaspoon or less of grilled onions! Live and learn. Won't be going there or even another Panera's if this is their "New Normal."

Although their a bit pricey for salads and sandwiches I must say the food here is good. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh and not frozen, The chedder broccoli soup is always my go to favorite and their classic turkey sandwiches are delicious, also all the drinks are tasty and refreshing! The atmospher is always pleasent and so are all the employees. Kind of Reminds me of starbucks a chill, relaxed space but the obvious difference is that they serve food here. I love Panera, but this location seems to be falling apart. This is my $10 turkey sandwich I just grabbed from rapid pickup notice the lack of turkey on it.. they also were out of chips so I got no side.. I expect a lot more from Panera the other side of sandwich had one piece of turkey folded up. I order from Panera Fishkill consistently this same item And it's a huge difference in quality.. When I called to complain after 15+ rings someone Picked up And I was questioned on who I was when I asked for a manager. The manager was just like sorry I'll refund you.. I mean thanks for that, But what I really wanted was dinner! Update** no refund given. Called back manager will look into it, claims refund was given and it may be a problem on their end w the computer

    My hand is small!

Panera is known for donating their day after bread and pastry! The reason they can afford to do that is because this small broccoli cheddar soup, which is approximately 8 ounces (1 cup) was 7+ dollars! This is absolutely ridiculous & unacceptable. I will not be patronizing Panera bread ever again. No wonder their Google/Yelp review score is a 1.7. #DoBetter #Panera #It'sTimeToTakeAStand

They are reducing the size of Mediterranean veggie sandwich which half of half ! Price of combo with with soup has gone up ! How must a slice of bread cost may be few cents ? Not happy lowered my score to three. Ten veggie soup made my day as it is outstanding with my Tabasco sauce addition

Came here for lunch and I always go with the "Pick Two" option. I got the Bbq Mac and Cheese and Chicken Chipotle sandwich. Everything was fresh and warm. Service is good and fast but it can be pricey. I sometimes spend 30$ for two people.

Protein in my salad bc I asked for No chicken

Not too bad. Service is always pleasant but food prep in the a.m is a little lax. Even then it is fresh and delicious.

Although the food is good as panera standard, this is the only panera I've ever been to that doesn't do drink refills.

The bistro has a cute exterior offering a few outdoor seats and a minimal but stylish interior and is perfect if you want to stay and chill or get your food to go. This isn't Subway so the sandwiches are priced above $10, but considering the quality and quantity (and maybe because I'm just acclimated to paying ridiculous prices in the City) you definitely get your money's worth. I heartily enjoyed the sliced hanger steak sandwich and found the mix of horseradish mayo, sautéed mushrooms, and arugula on a toasted ciabatta to be perfection. I also tried the fried chicken sandwich which was well seasoned and made all that much better with the sriracha mayo and pickles! I will be back for certain to explore the rest of the sandwich and salad options, especially the capers and oyster mushroom sandwiches and roasted beet and goat cheese salads. They also offer baked goods from Newburgh Flower Shop down the block as well as a variety of coffee and tea drinks. If you get pickup, call the restaurant directly because the prices through Doordash are higher to compensate for the fees the restaurant has to pay. Good to have Toasted on the Liberty Street scene!

The bread was sturdy and crusty and crunchy on the outside. The oyster mushrooms were accompanied with a lovely spicy aioli and pickles. Even though it may a cost a little more than a sandwich from a national chain, the food is made with lots of care with fresh ingredients and the portion is enough for two lunches (at least for me). It was a little messy so I was glad I was outside to enjoy it. It's a small space inside (perhaps 5 square table for 2 each) and it's almost kitty corner to my favorite shop, Oliver & Chatfield. Since it's a little further down on Liberty street, you'll find plenty of street parking.

I was craving something hearty and healthy so naturally, I went for the pearly bowl which originally comes with couscous, roasted cauliflower, golden raisins (trust me these add THEEEE touch), pickled red onions (YUM), tahini sauce, avocado, and a lemon-mint vinaigrette - THISSSSSS. I ended up substituting the couscous for quinoa which was perfect for the type of meal I wanted before traveling. Can we talk about that lemon-mint vinaigrette? It's perfectly green and brings the whole bowl together, SO GOOD. Wish I would've gotten a whole side of that. Ordering delivery through Yelp is so easy thanks to DoorDash and I was so thankful I didn't have to be stuck eating chips and m&ms - love these but I needed a little something more. Next time you're taking a flight from Newburgh airport be sure to get delivery from Ms Fairfax. Can't wait to try their crepes and green goddess wrap from their breakfast and lunch menu!

She was taking care of the entire restaurant and didn't miss a beat. The food is fantastic. The chicken and waffles is the way I like them, with tenders not bone in (controversial, I know). But I swear, that may have been the best tender I've ever had. The flavor was insane! The brisket hash was rich and warm. Topped off with their in-house made hot sauce, it was a perfect meal. Also, the music was so on point. Just tied together a wonderful experience.

Glad I did.) Although I only had the souvlaki the first time, I noted friendly and attentive service by all, including the manager. The food came out fairly quickly given that I arrived during the peak lunch hour. The pita was the best pita I have ever eaten. The fries were up there with the best fries I have ever eaten. There was plenty of food for my money overall, and it was memorably delicious. So for this update, I finally went in for a full meal. I can offer the following updates: * I went during the dinner peak this time (I should say: just after a Hudson Valley Renegades game across the river), and service was MUCH slower to attend to us. Now, to be fair, I arrived with one person and we were waiting on a third, so I didn't expect them to rush to take or order until the third person arrived... but at least bring us water? Took like 15 minutes for that. * Shrimp pasta was delicious. But if you're smothering shrimp in sauce, please de-shell? Otherwise serve them on the side so I can do that myself. Annoying to have to sift through the sauce and clean my hands. * They did sub in pasta of my choice. * Carrot soup was OK, nothing special but it was the soup of the day vs. just a plain salad for my veggies. Desserts were on display but I was stuffed. Again, you will get plenty of food here. But try not to come at the same time as /everyone/ else.
