I received a gift card for the holidays(one of the many perks of being a teacher ). I realized I will be eating here more often! Very friendly service, I asked a few questions/suggestions & the staff was very patient & helpful. Took a little longer than I expected for the food to be prepared but the sandwiches are made as they are ordered-which is great. Plenty of seating is available. We stopped at Panera to order quick lunch we can take home. As we were waiting we realized we forgot to order a drink. The manager quickly helped us, as we were ordering we noticed they had new refreshers with a little caffeine but I already ordered my strawberry basil lemonade. As she was making my lemonade she must have overhead us saying we should definitely try them next time. Well, she called us to the counter where they make the drinks and offered us a small taste of all three of the refreshers! And they were all equally amazing but my favorite was definitely the cherry lime refreshers! We don't live near this Panera but I will make the trip next time we want Panera. Not only was the food great but she went out of her way to accomandate us. This isn't your typical Panera. The food was perfect, they had everything we wanted, and the service was quick and made us feel like going to a five star fancy restaurant! Although their a bit pricey for salads and sandwiches I must say the food here is good. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh and not frozen, The chedder broccoli soup is always my go to favorite and their classic turkey sandwiches are delicious, also all the drinks are tasty and refreshing! "Holy bagel Batman!" Really Yelp? A 2-star rating? I'm still trying to figure out why this Panera Bread gets no love. The only negative is the lack of staff making wait times so long that there have been times I visited and seen customers walk off clearly indicating the wait at Starbucks in the same parking lot is likely less. So the lack of staff especially on weekends is probably a lot of customer frustration at this location. Otherwise, I really like Panera and their products. The bagels are the bomb outside of those amazing NYC bagels I normally get. I often times on weekends sit down and use my computer while eating breakfast sipping my morning java. Anytime I am out to Rt 300 near 17K, I want to stop at Panera Bread ....not just for their bread or fresh sticky buns but also their salads. I seldom 'eat in' (it can really get crowded at lunch time and sometimes there is a short wait for a table). Instead I do take out. I had an unbelievable wacky crisis. My car locked on me with the keys in the engine, running. This is never supposed to happen in a Nissan Rogue, but that's for another review! Julie, the general manager came to my aid. I had come in for mobile order so my whole life, including my phone, was in that running car. Julie calmly helped me phone home, then suggested I call AAA, which was able to unlock the car. Julie also provided water, sanity and kindness during this crazy incident.
