It can be tricky getting her in and out of places, and I thought it would be too narrow inside when we ordered, but this building was much more spacious than I thought it would be. We both ordered the same items off the Mix and Match menu: 1/2 of a Toasted Caprese Focaccia; 1/2 Farmhouse Crunch Salad; and piece of bread. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I really miss the old location inside of the Avenues circle, because you could walk to everything much closer while refilling your drink. This restaurant feels less homey and just too much of an open concept. It might even be smaller too, which was unexpected. Update (Wednesday 08/20: Panera Bread Customer Care addressed my dinner order issue I reported via the app. They were quick to respond the next day, and I appreciate their concern. I'm happy with the solution and still recommend them. Sunday 08/17 I've never had a problem with Panera, until now. This is my first complaint with them. I live close by, and went for a pick up. I ordered the same picked two order, I've had many times. The sandwich had the wrong bread, and it was half of a half sandwich. Both the steak and the soup were cold, and I was there 4 minutes before it was done. Plus the soup tasted funny. The pictures show how ridiculous and incorrect this sandwich was made. I loved coming here because the seating options were so comfortable. We found the best seat outside under some pretty trees on top of the deck. There was so much table space that we were able to set out all of our materials and sketch in our sketchbooks. The food came out quickly and it was the perfect pairing. I ordered the chili which was delicious and half of a chipotle chicken avocado sandwich. The avocado was perfectly tender and smooth. Nice Panera location in a cute shopping mall (The Avenue Viera) in Melbourne. There's a lot of nice outdoor seating where we were able to enjoy my Bear Claw....I love Panera's Bear Claw. Always moist and sweet...with the right amount of glaze on top. I ordered inside, not using the app, so I made sure I gave my phone number to the lady to get my reward points. Well my wife and I came in about 7:30. Looked around at the floors and they were filthy. Stacks of bowls and plates over at the garbage bins. I could see they haven't cleaned up around the kitchen in awhile. We ordered our food and went to grab our drinks. No ice and the garbage bins there was filled. Asked an associate if they could get us ice and they said to ask the hostess. We got our food and although yes it was good we had to clean off the table we sat at. Just filthy. I think if they picked up dishes and swept the floors on the regular it would be much better. Oh and seats are bad! I can feel the springs under the seat cushions. Cobwebs around the booths... What in the homeless camp is this delivery of bagels? I ordered a dozen and a half bagels for an event in the morning. This included plain, blueberry, cinnamon crunch that they apparently were out of, everything and asiago. Somehow I got substituted flat multigrain bagels (which we're conveniently on the very bottom where you couldn't see them), which are not even really a bagel. What on earth. They threw every bagel at the bottom of a giant bag, no box/bag, no separation between flavors. So having a blueberry bagel sitting on top of an everything bagel makes sense right. Gross. This is the first and last time I will ever order from Panera. Why not package something better? Is a box really that much of a problem? You can't serve anything to anyone out of a brown paper bag of mixed flavors. Watch out, they are sneaky and will tape your bag shut, so you don't notice right away your food is just thrown into the bag. Also I just realized, I asked for the cinnamon crunch bagels to not be substituted with a cinnamon raisin, they put one in anyway. I didn't notice until it was cut open this morning because it looks a lot like the blueberry bagel. I mean, what if someone was allergic to that bagel? 1. Rude staff. They will talk about you as you're standing right in there face. Inappropriate loud conversations between staff members behind the counter. 2. I had gotten a sandwich and modified it by changing the bread, removing the sauce, and ridding the tomatoes. I got the sandwich and it was the unmodified version. I went back to have it fixed and one of the staff members told me that if I wanted it modified, I would have to order it the way I want. I told her I did and she snatched the sandwich from my hand and saw that it was marked modified on the wrapper. She then told me that I have to keep the sandwich because they can't take it back an told me to eat it or throw it away, which I understand, but her tone was super rude. 3. They also give out hard cold bread and won't heat it up if you ask them to. They'll direct you to a microwave to do it yourself. 4. Another instance is when I had ordered two muffins with my meal, and instead of muffins, the gave me something else (I think it was the tops of muffins). When I went back I was faced with the same attitude. I was asked did I order muffins and I said I did. She checked the receipt and saw that I didn't get what I order. She tried to negotiate with me because it was a muffin top but I want what I ordered, not just 1/4 of it. She seemed annoyed with it but its not my fault I was given the wrong things. Unfortunately people ahead of me ordered the last two muffins so I had to get something else of equivalent price. I asked her what I could get and she just started at me and asked what I wanted. At least I got two free bakery items out of it... 5. I went to the bathroom and left half of my sandwich and my chips in their bag on a table. When I went back, it was gone. Maybe a customer took it, but I'm sure it was thrown away by staff. Panera Bread is a chain restaurant that I have visited frequently. I have relied on Panera Bread to bring what I call a culinary bribe to early morning business meetings to maybe take the morning grumpiness away and replace it with something somewhat akin to a smile. My go to is their bagels and cream cheese. Being from New Jersey, I love a good bagel and while the bagels from Panera will never be recognized as the greatest bagel in the world, they are still solid nonetheless and a good option down here in the southeast (I do miss the food from the New York/New Jersey area). Service here was good and I was in and out on a relatively quick amount of time. Time is an important factor, especially in the morning when the world is starting a new day and we are shuffling off to begin a new day of chasing opportunities. I've given this location a few tries and it's just not what it use to be. They charge insane prices for the portions and the food does not match quality wise nor does the service. Both times I came here the cashier was very kind. However service goes down from this point. Both times my soup was all broth with very little ingredients. I thought maybe this was just a one time issue but it was this way with two different soups on two different occasions. They also dish up the soup way before they add your second item whether it be a salad or sandwich so they soup gets kinda cold. When I has asked the ladies if they could please give me a new bowl as my soup had sat for 10 mins they didn't seem very understanding or kind regarding my simple request. Speedy service is what I value most at the Panera Bread fast casual chain. The Town Center location provides that service well. What I value most is the ability to use their mobile app to save time, enabling me to grab some food on busy days or even on a slower day, getting back to a relaxing morning by picking up a breakfast sandwich. The fresh ingredients contribute to the great taste in a minimum amount of time. Especially convenient is their Rapid Pickup shelf system. It allows me to pickup my meal and get on my way. Being a sucker for beaked goods, the pastries are consistently high quality. My favorite is the bear claw; the cinnamon rolls are good too! I have experienced an a miss on the customization of my sandwich. I passed that info on to the management team who was pleasant to talk to and provided confidence that my feedback would by use to improve. Panera is my go to place for a quick tasty meal. read more

This review is following my most recent visit after an incident there a few months ago where I was served expired cream cheese (by about 4 months). Hadn't been there since but figured today is the day. Wrong decision. Went for a quick hot meal before seeing a movie and it wasn't quick nor hot. Ordered a cup of the broccoli cheddar soup and the BBQ chicken sandwich. You'd think with how long the wait was that the items would at least be warm, but both the soup and the chicken on my sandwich (which was a toasted sandwich) were ice cold. Floors were dirty, the glimpse of the floor where food was being made was very unappealing, and nobody seemed to enjoy their jobs there. I ended up throwing out about 75% of my meal and buying food at the movies. Save your money and find somewhere else to eat. read more

I'm writing this review a bit late, but we went here this morning and the food was good. I got a cookie, my grandmother got a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese, and hazelnut coffee. The lady at the front counter was very friendly when she was talking our orders. The restaurant organization is well done, and it's very clean. The only thing is that they need to keep their creamer full. Other than that, it was very good. We will come here again. read more

What used to be $18 meal for us is now $32. ‍ We no longer have the food delivered to our table. There is a tip jar at the register. Self-serve kiosks & one cashier. Lots of people hovering around the kitchen area waiting to grab their own food. The food is so delicious but honestly not worth the new prices.
