I had the curry lamb noodles; the sauce was thick spicy; very rich and hearty with tender lamb. Also, on this menu is a chili crab that I would like to try. This specialty menu is constantly changing, which is nice, because it shows they are committed to trying new things to present to their customers. I tasted the crybaby noodles with shrimp& pork-excellent! We shared a papaya salad, which was fresh and filled with flavor. We also had the leche Thai iced tea, which was good and not too sweet. The parking lot is small, and there's no sauce stand--which is probably my only downside. Because of the holiday, the wait was about 30 minutes for four tacos, which was a bit longer than I would've liked. That said, it was worth it. Taqueria Los Primos has always been my go-to spot and, up until now, the best tacos I've had in Maryland--but Los Perez takes the top spot for me. I was a little thrown off seeing the hot sauce come in a plastic packet, but it was actually super fire. I'd come back here all the time. This place could easily hold its own against some of the best Mexican spots in Los Angeles. Highly, highly recommend if you haven't been yet.

The chicken was seasoned well and the carnitas were flavorful, the accompanying sauces - salsa verde y roja were incredible! The tacos were filling and accompanied with limes, cilantro, and radishes. We did pickup from the restaurant, calling the order in ahead was straightforward, and it was ready within 15 minutes. I was so underwhelmed that I packed the rest up just so I could go home and try to "doctor it up" myself with some seasoning and pepper. Fast forward...even the remix at home couldn't save it. The food was just not giving. The service, however, was quick, and the staff seemed kind. There was definitely a language barrier though, which made it hard to ask questions or get recommendations, and that took away from the experience a bit. As for the decor, it's a pretty large venue with a standard setup. Nothing particularly memorable besides the occasional Korean imagery throughout the space. Overall, I really wanted to enjoy this spot, but the food just missed the mark for me.

Today, I gave them another shot because Uber Eats was offering a buy one, get one free deal on the jerk chicken meal. I chose rice & peas with plantain for my sides. The chicken was cooked on the grill--which I love--because it really brings out the flavor in jerk chicken. I also requested my jerk sauce on the side since I prefer a dry rub style over a saucy one. The only drawback was the small bone pieces in the chicken and rice. That's something to be cautious about, especially if a child is eating the meal. The plantains were also inconsistent--some pieces were hard, while others were mushy. On the bright side, the coco bread was perfect and the Jamaican rum cake was phenomenal. Whoever baked that cake clearly took their time soaking it in rum. It reminded me of the way my grandmother used to make it--absolutely delicious. I would definitely order the rum cake again.

Usually with brunch we would do the bottomless mimosas and all but because I was driving I decided not to participate in that. And usually I would get chicken and waffles but I was in the mood for a burger. So I thought because their name is "Mad Cow" the burger would be the bomb...but nope it was not good at all. So I prefer a beef burger cooked medium with blue cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onions. When I burger got tot the table it was dry as a board. No blue cheese that I paid extra for and the burger was not cooked correctly it was cooked well done. Smdh. So the waiter brought me my blue cheese apologized about it and also gave me a mayo bottle. Even with the burger still was not good and the patty was so thick with no flavor not even salt and pepper was in it!! I tried their punch drink which was really good but for $15 a pop in a regular water glass was ridiculous. Make sure you don't get too tipsy as they already have like a 20% gratuity added on each of our checks no matter how small or big your group is which again is ridiculous! Will I come back...maybe only because I would like to try some Jamaican food they offer. But for brunch...it's a no for me!

We were told to find a table on the other side of the restaurant (like self seating...see picture) but then asked to move. We ordered the Crystal noodles with shredded beef & vegetables (41) And the Fried rice with vegetable (10). The fried rice comes with the bean sauce which i didn't know (not listed on the menu I had) and contains pork. When i attempted to get a new version, it took 3 staff members asking why. The prices in other areas like Flushing, NY are a bit better, but i felt like I found a solid spot. The texture of the dumplings were moist & the dumpling sauce was very good with the ginger. I came a couple of weeks ago confident I was going to get the same taste, but the flavors aren't always consistent as well as the dumpling itself. They were smaller in size & tougher to bite into. I usually am at a comfortable "full" feeling after one order, but by the time I was finished with one order I felt hungrier.. lol I literally went to go eat EXPEDITIOUSLY after. This spot is located inside of Kung Fu Tea, which makes it feel more like a quick stop than a sit-down place. I believe they have a standalone location elsewhere and honestly, a bit more ambiance would help. The Columbia location, for example, feels much cozier. I'd love to see more consistency in the dumplings themselves. The Mala dumplings can be really good one day and not as great the next. Still, I think they're worth trying if you're nearby and craving something quick! 10/10 experience overall when they're fresh and hot. Here's the order of perfection: 1 (Red) Mala Chicken - 20/10 perfection. 2 (White) Pork - another 20/10, absolutely solid. 3 (Black) Truffle & Pork - 15/10, rich and earthy. 4 (Green) Shrimp - 8/10, still enjoyable but lighter. 5 (Yellow) Chicken - 6/10 (it kinda tasted like the smell of tap water at first ).
