    falafel greens
    Darlene K.

My go to after Pilates -- same meal because it never disappoints -- the falafel salad is fresh and flavorful, with crispy falafel, and a creamy tahini sauce on the side (I don't like my greens to be saturated). A delicious, healthy choice packed with Mediterranean goodness right after Pilates (reformer) --

Salad with falafel, Turkish salad, sumac cucumbers, olives, pickled beets, red cabbage, cherry tomatoes on a bed of romaine.

While a generally decent salad, now that they no longer carry my favorite topping -- the spicy pickled cauliflower with carrots-- this likely will be my last Mezeh order if Cava is an available alternative. With the harissa, spicy broccoli, and crazy feta options, combined with superior falafel, braised lamb, shkug, and garlic dressing, Cava will now always be a stronger preference.

Finally tried Mezeh in the Laurel Town Centre! I've always been a fan of Mediterranean cuisine, so I had an idea of what the menu would look like but this was an expansion of what I knew. I told my server that it was my first time trying Mezeh and he actually took the time to explain each dish I was interested in and what was the popular dish. Besides the staff being patient and welcoming, the establishment was clean, and quiet. Most patrons are ordering food to go so the establishment should look its best. I've gone twice in two weeks! All the flavors is so satisfying. I love the bowl and pita bread, the greek yogurt dip is a mixture of tangy and the best I've ever tasted. Mezeh definitely will expand your palate.

I visited this place recently and was pleasantly surprised! It's a new and modern restaurant with healthy choices. Not only healthy but delicious. In addition to that you can choose your bowl and select as many toppings for the same price. I watched a family of 5 select their bowls and was amazed at their choices. Then I was able to choose my own bowl with more confidence. My falafel bowl was quite delicious and so were the Berry Watermelon and Lemongrass Berry drinks they were not too sweet. Plus the girls behind the counter were so friendly and helpful it was uplifting. My family will definitely return to try other selections and the delicious drinks. As I was leaving I was happy to see that family of 5 enjoying their meals.

I eat here a lot. The Chicken Shawarma bowl is worth every penny. The ingredients are clean, meat is halal, the place is always spotless and the staff are amazing. The management is spectacular. The atmosphere is also unique: i love the music they play here. It is a unique blend of meditation acoustic guitar/flute and chill, down-tempo beats. If you are looking to eat healthy without sacrificing taste, then this is your new spot. I was here last year 300 times. It's just that good. Yes, I've been to all the other Mezahs in the Baltimore area, this one is the best. I have to point to the management for this one. Ismelda knows how to both find amazing people and how to train them to create food that melts in your mouth. She is the secret sauce behind this epic restaurant. I can't recommend this place enough.

This place is my favorite. This place is better than CAVA. It's much more options. I love the falafel.

This Mezeh is placed in a very good location in Laurel, within the shopping plaza very close to Regal cinemas. They are open until 11 if you had to get out after a late night movie. The staff is very sweet, the place is very clean and the food is of great quality and very fresh. Definitely would recommend trying a Mediterranean bowl. They have decent place to sit inside and enjoy your food.

I wanted a classic so I just got the gyro platter, the Greek fries and the soup. The Greek fries are my favorite and a guilty pleasure. They are so flavorful and have the best texture. The gyro was also very filling and they really don't skimp out here with their toppings. Service: waitress was kind, but service was extremely slow. 2 beers took about 15 minutes to make it to our table; I ordered a mixed drink and was given the incorrect mixed drink, which I went to the bar and traded out for a beer instead because our server didn't come back to our table to check on us for a significant length of time. We ordered several menu items they were out of and we weren't told that they were out until about an hour and a half into waiting for our food. We ended up with three side salads, 1 app, and 1 meal for a group of people. We asked our server for the check, which she failed to bring after 15 minutes. Hungry and desperate to leave, a member of our group went up to the bar, had the bar tender remove the food we were never given, and paid. Overall: Horrible experience w/ sub-par food and even worse service. Spend your money elsewhere.

Usually with brunch we would do the bottomless mimosas and all but because I was driving I decided not to participate in that. And usually I would get chicken and waffles but I was in the mood for a burger. So I thought because their name is "Mad Cow" the burger would be the bomb...but nope it was not good at all. So I prefer a beef burger cooked medium with blue cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onions. When I burger got tot the table it was dry as a board. No blue cheese that I paid extra for and the burger was not cooked correctly it was cooked well done. Smdh. So the waiter brought me my blue cheese apologized about it and also gave me a mayo bottle. Even with the burger still was not good and the patty was so thick with no flavor not even salt and pepper was in it!! I tried their punch drink which was really good but for $15 a pop in a regular water glass was ridiculous. Make sure you don't get too tipsy as they already have like a 20% gratuity added on each of our checks no matter how small or big your group is which again is ridiculous! Will I come back...maybe only because I would like to try some Jamaican food they offer. But for brunch...it's a no for me!

I ordered the chickpea wrap, and it absolutely delivered--it was heavily loaded, super filling, and packed with great flavors. Their coffee is also very good and paired perfectly with the food. There are only two main reasons this isn't quite a 5-star rating for me. First, the prices do lean a bit on the higher end for a cafe. Second, while their savory vegan options are great, they unfortunately don't have any vegan desserts to finish off the meal. One of the standout features of this cafe, though, is its commitment to the local community. The walls are covered with incredible pieces by local artists, which gives the space such a wonderful, creative energy. There was live jazz playing. I sat at the bar - shout out to Nnamdi who was the bartender and my waiter. Food wise: brunch only offers the $55 unlimited food option for two hours. Most places that serve unlimited food don't allow to-go boxes so I was happy to not have my leftovers go to waste. I opted for the bottomless cocktails as well.
