The steak bowl I ordered was pretty good, flavorful. Despite ordering a preset bowl, I was still able to make specific toppings decisions in this Chipotle-esque style eatery. The space was large, bright, and well appointed and the staff was friendly and competent enough, but the cost of the bowl was too much. Paying around $18 for a casual lunch isn't it. I have been going to CAVA for years and never thought to write a review. If I don't feel like cooking, I always go to CAVA for a healthy meal. We were here last Fridaty for lunch and decided to stay inside the restaurant to eat our salad. The place wasn't packed with diners but eventually the line got longer. Even though the line is long, it usually goes quickly. You just tell the employee what you want and go down the line. I have never had a bad salad but sometimes I feel like the employees don't put enough salad and I always have to ask for more. My favorite dressing is the harissa dressing. Each time I go, I have either a good or bad experience with the employees. The ambiance is okay. It's minimal and usually always cold in temperature. read more

11.2.25 I don't go to Cava often, but after a great experience at Mezeh recently, I decided to join my husband and our friends for lunch. I ordered a pita stuffed with grilled chicken, pickled onions, roasted corn, tomato and cucumber, shredded lettuce, pita crisps, plus a generous drizzle of Tzatziki and garlic dressing. It was so good I couldn't stop talking about it! The portion looked huge--I thought I'd only eat half--but it was so tasty I devoured the whole thing. I visited this location a few times since my last review. It's been a much better experience every time. I typically order ahead on the app, but I've stood in line before and it moves fast. This place is always packed! On my last visit, I got my go to chicken and rice bowl and I tried black lentils and surprisingly liked it. I would try that again. read more

It was my first time at this location. The ambiance was on par with other locations. It appeared clean and there was plenty of available seating. I liked the efficiency of service at this location. The ordering process was relatively fast and accurate. All of the fixings were well-stocked. The pita bread was already at the end of the line, so we didn't have to ask for it at the beginning of the line just to find that it was not in the bag once we arrived at our destination. I also liked that they did not skimp on the portions. The bowl was deliciously flavorful and enough for two meals. For now, I think this is my new preferred location. read more

I love Cava and have a soft spot for this location because of the staff. They are friendly and welcoming and always greet me with a smile. The food is freshly made in-house; you can see the chef at the grill. I've also observed them making the falafels and the lemonade. Ever wonder why you see fresh pineapples in the refrigerator behind the serving line? Those are used for the different lemonades/teas! I usually go to this location and have an okay experience but today was terrible. The only good thing was my garlic pita chips were hot and fresh but not this salad! Absolutely amazing restaurant. I stopped here on my way back to college, and I've got to say out of the many Cava locations I've been to this was the best. The food was hot and fresh, they had recently put out the freshest options. The customer service and team members were super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They were very patient and understanding and willing to make any accommodations. They truly have amazing management!! The ambiance was amazing, it was cozy, the bathrooms were clean and the entire dining area was clean and the utensils were stocked. All beverages were ready to go and the entire area was super clean. I've had consistently disappointing experiences at the Columbia location, especially compared to the Hanover branch where the staff are much friendlier. At Columbia, the staff are consistently rude especially the Hector guy who always has an attitude. Another issue is the portion sizes - they tend to be much smaller than the advertised scoop. I've seen staff reduce scoops or scoop up mostly shredded bits or the remnants from the bottom of the pan instead of a proper full portion, which feels intentional and off-putting. While I used to prefer this place, the combination of poor service and portioning is pushing me back to places like Chipotle where at least the experience feels more consistent and worth the cost. read more

Love cava ! Is my go to when I don't feel like cooking. I love how customizable it is and it doesn't feel heavy after eating it. When it comes to service, service is pretty fast too despite how busy it is. Tip: you can order online on the app and pick up to shorten the wait time. I wanted to share a quick message about my recent experience at Cava restaurant in Columbia. Unfortunately, I was denied service because of my service dog, which was really disheartening. This experience we ordered online-and felt very much the same experience. Short staff, with lots of orders, the staff instantly made us feel the chaos- as we approached to pick up our order the staff frazzled; managing the current made-to-order from walk-ins, online orders seemed to really put them over the edge- I instantly felt bad for ordering-the order didn't take long to create and checkout, but the staff seemed so stressed- and the bowl showed- I felt the quality was very slapped together with less serving size than various experiences at a location at ease. read more
