The perfect caramel latte with almond milk

This is BY FAR, my FAVORITE Panera!! Every time I come here (SN - the beauty supply store next door is AMAZING!!!) I am welcomed by a friendly staff member. The last few times here, I ordered my usual - caramel latte with almond milk and extra caramel - don't judge me, it's my cheat day lol along with a green goddess salad for later. Well, Michaela makes my latte perfectly!! I mean I drive all the way here just for that perfect latte and she delivers it with a smile (through her mask of course ) Let me also mention Marty, who always remembers me and asks if I need anything. He has been so kind to me and even come and handed me my salad! It's definitely worth the drive to come here and enjoy consistent good food and amazing service. Today I decided to take time to sit inside and write this review because they are just that great here!

Panera food is good. Went to redeem my free pastery, which was a blueberry muffin. It wasn't busy. They sell beverages, smoothies, sweets, pastries, sandwiches, salads, flatbread pizza. This a place you can go for lunch, dinner, meet up with friends or co workers.

I've visited this location many times in the past. Whenever I order from Panera, I use their app, so I can rack up on points for free or discounted items. Plus, with their rapid pickup option, your is prepared and ready and record time. The staff here is friendly. The quality of the food is always consistent with what I expect for all Panera locations. I wasn't able to order a wheat roll, but I didn't need the bread anyway.

I was finally in the area and got a chance to go in person and wow, the experience of eating the food fresh there was even better - although I must say this food does travel very well. I wanted a classic so I just got the gyro platter, the Greek fries and the soup. The soup is so good and reminds me of my favorite Greek place back home in chicago, I used to eat this type of soup every weekend with my family. Ingredients are fresh here and quality is always A1. The Greek fries are my favorite and a guilty pleasure. They are so flavorful and have the best texture. The gyro was also very filling and they really don't skimp out here with their toppings. Updated Review: 7/2/26…read more I really wanted to give Thai at Laurel another chance, but unfortunately this visit confirmed why my previous review still stands. I arrived around 5:45 PM, just in time for happy hour, and took a seat at the bar (self-seating). The restaurant was very quiet--there was only one party of four, one table of two, and no one else at the bar when I arrived. Happy Hour Order: * Bangkok Wings - $8 * White Peach Martini - $9 * Curry Puffs - $8 Total: $26.77 The service was disappointing from the start. My bartender seemed impatient and in a rush, despite the restaurant not being busy. After taking my order, she never checked on me again--not once. Thankfully, another staff member stepped in several times to ask if I needed anything, and her attentiveness didn't go unnoticed. Ironically, I didn't even cash out with my original bartender because she was nowhere to be found. The food was hit or miss. The Bangkok wings were overcooked, with several pieces dried out and lacking an even coating of sauce. The curry puffs had good flavor, but the texture wasn't for me, so I couldn't finish them. The standout was the cucumber dipping sauce--it was fresh, flavorful, and easily the best part of the appetizer. The biggest letdown was the White Peach Martini. I was initially served a White Peach Margarita by mistake. After I pointed it out, the bartender remade it, but I watched the entire process and it was obvious the drink wasn't prepared properly. There wasn't a full pour of the liquor--it was mostly syrup and juice. I took one sip and left it untouched. At that point, I didn't have the energy to send it back again or argue over how it should have been made. What makes this visit even more disappointing is that this wasn't my first negative experience here. I came back hoping things had improved, but they hadn't. Consistency matters, and this restaurant has consistently fallen short for me in both service and quality. I'll gladly make the drive to Columbia when I'm craving Thai food from now on. I genuinely wanted to support my local Thai restaurant, but after giving it multiple chances, I can't justify coming back. I wish Thai at Laurel the best, but they've unfortunately lost me as a customer.

Taqueria Los Primos has always been my go-to spot and, up until now, the best tacos I've had in Maryland--but Los Perez takes the top spot for me. I was a little thrown off seeing the hot sauce come in a plastic packet, but it was actually super fire. I'd come back here all the time. The table behind me said they saw something too. I told the server, Andrew and he offered to give us a discount and admitted to having a mouse issue lately. So I got up to get some cream puffs and as I about to sit down, the mouse came back and I told Andrew and he got the broom and dust pan and caught the mouse and killed it and proceeded to have us pay. This is what really ticked me off. I went to the front before we left and asked to speak to a manager. The girl looked and then looked over at her friend (who probably wasn't the manager) and said here she is. I told her what happened and she said "yeah sorry, we have someone coming next week and he didn't kill the mouse, he let the mouse go right outside". SERIOUSLY? That mouse is coming right back inside! This is a problem that pest control needs to come out IMMEDIATELY! I just watched a mouse get killed/caught while trying to eat! I stopped and lost my complete appetite. I will be informing the PG county health department immediately and I will never come back here if this is how they operate. Today, I gave them another shot because Uber Eats was offering a buy one, get one free deal on the jerk chicken meal. I chose rice & peas with plantain for my sides. The chicken was cooked on the grill--which I love--because it really brings out the flavor in jerk chicken. I also requested my jerk sauce on the side since I prefer a dry rub style over a saucy one. The only drawback was the small bone pieces in the chicken and rice. That's something to be cautious about, especially if a child is eating the meal. The plantains were also inconsistent--some pieces were hard, while others were mushy. On the bright side, the coco bread was perfect and the Jamaican rum cake was phenomenal. Whoever baked that cake clearly took their time soaking it in rum. It reminded me of the way my grandmother used to make it--absolutely delicious. I would definitely order the rum cake again.

Usually with brunch we would do the bottomless mimosas and all but because I was driving I decided not to participate in that. And usually I would get chicken and waffles but I was in the mood for a burger. So I thought because their name is "Mad Cow" the burger would be the bomb...but nope it was not good at all. So I prefer a beef burger cooked medium with blue cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onions. When I burger got tot the table it was dry as a board. No blue cheese that I paid extra for and the burger was not cooked correctly it was cooked well done. Smdh. So the waiter brought me my blue cheese apologized about it and also gave me a mayo bottle. Even with the burger still was not good and the patty was so thick with no flavor not even salt and pepper was in it!! I tried their punch drink which was really good but for $15 a pop in a regular water glass was ridiculous. Make sure you don't get too tipsy as they already have like a 20% gratuity added on each of our checks no matter how small or big your group is which again is ridiculous! We were headed to Amber Spice for a late lunch, and fortunately, we made it in before the 2:45pm cutoff (I called ahead to check). Since it was almost lunch closing, they did request that we place our orders soon after being seated. We already knew what we wanted to order, so we didn't feel rushed otherwise. We started with the veggie samosas ($6, two pieces), which were served with the traditional tamarind sauce and spicy cilantro chutney. The samosas were packed with the potato and pea filling and had a lightly crisp exterior. They were as good as any. For my entree, I ordered the butter chicken ($20), which is served with a side of basmati rice. When ordering, the waiter didn't ask about spice level. I did find their butter chicken to have some heat to it, but it wasn't anything crazy - I'd say a 3/10 for spiciness - I felt the warmth. The chicken was super tender and moist. I would be happy getting this again. I also ordered the garlic naan ($5), because you have to have something to sop up the curry goodness. The naan was hot and fresh; you could also taste the garlic. One basket came with four pieces (one whole naan), which is perfect for sharing. I finished the meal with the gulab jamun ($6) for dessert which came with three pieces of the fried dough balls served in a sweet syrup. My friend ordered the mango kulfi and loved it! She described it as a mango lassi, but frozen, which made it that much more light and refreshing. Amber Spice is a casual dining spot and it has the service to match. We were brought a carafe of water for the table to start, so it was self-serve the rest of the way. Food was brought out quickly and plates were cleared at the end, but we weren't checked on during the meal. Perhaps since we arrived near lunch closing, service was winding down, but we got what we needed. I enjoyed the food here and would come again. Everything that we had was not only super tasty, but also reasonably priced. There's also plenty of parking in the shopping center.

I usually am at a comfortable "full" feeling after one order, but by the time I was finished with one order I felt hungrier.. lol I literally went to go eat EXPEDITIOUSLY after. This spot is located inside of Kung Fu Tea, which makes it feel more like a quick stop than a sit-down place. I believe they have a standalone location elsewhere and honestly, a bit more ambiance would help. The Columbia location, for example, feels much cozier. I'd love to see more consistency in the dumplings themselves. The Mala dumplings can be really good one day and not as great the next. Still, I think they're worth trying if you're nearby and craving something quick! 10/10 experience overall when they're fresh and hot. Here's the order of perfection: 1 (Red) Mala Chicken - 20/10 perfection. 2 (White) Pork - another 20/10, absolutely solid. 3 (Black) Truffle & Pork - 15/10, rich and earthy. 4 (Green) Shrimp - 8/10, still enjoyable but lighter. 5 (Yellow) Chicken - 6/10 (it kinda tasted like the smell of tap water at first ).
