I love Panera in general but this morning, I had the best customer service I've ever experienced at any Panera yet. From walking in and ordering to receiving our food personally rather than having to get up with the buzzer to go get it. The food tasted great and as soon as we finished, I got up to go put the dishes in the bin and was immediately stopped by the manger, who kindly grabbed the dishes from my hands and thanked me for coming by. For quite awhile I ignored going to Panera because I am normally a creature of habit when it comes to where I eat I was driving by and so be it this part of the parking lot is always packed so it has to be good. I would first recommend using the kiosks that are available as it will enable you to customize your meal with items you didn't know were on the menu. I went twice in one week and I ordered the pick 2 both times. Each time I had customized salads paired with the broccoli soup and the other I had a flatbread with turkey, ham, and swiss. We order from here pretty regularly. They're close and we've always loved Panera. However, lately, the quality has gone down hill. We have ordered several items that are missing ingredients or low on them- if they don't have the ingredients to make it right please just say that so we don't waste our money and order something else. I quite like it here whether to fix a sweet "tooth", grab a bite, or have a meet & greet (a fave for this). It's a very nice addition to River City Marketplace on the Norf-sigh-eed. LOL! It helps in providing the welcoming suburban feel of having nearby amenities which has been needed for sooo long on this side of town. This store is always neat. and clean along with friendly staff. I'm not sure if it has all the latest upgrades (such as kiosks) that I've seen elsewhere but, if not, they should be available soon....may even be present but overlooked by your's truly. I really like Panera, but this location is the worst. They lack attention to detail. I have had issues visiting this location. Today for example, I used curbside pickup. Received an email notifying me my order was ready. When I arrived I let them know I was outside. I sat outside for 25 minutes before my food came. Curbside is supposed to be a convenience, but it wasn't today. This was my absolute last time patronizing this location. I will go somewhere where they actually care about customer service. Went in just to get a charge lemonade, which was five dollars with tax. Come to find out they are completely out of stock of it and so I go and ask for a refund. The manager or assistant manager only refunded me $3.86. Lost money and got nothing !! read more

Always order from the kiosk. It's very fast and convienient. Although the place is busy, the service is very fast! The cups are free at the vending machines, so there is no need to order drinks. This is a friendly environment with great staff and fresh food. Definitely recommended. read more

Our kids are very picky eaters but Panera is one of the few places where all of kids have something they will eat and enjoy to eat. Our kids love the chicken tortellini, Mac and cheese, and options like fruit and yogurt and chips. The adults usually order from the pick two. We also love the family style tables that this location offers and enjoy being able to have plenty of room to sit around the table. read more

Terrible service, disgraceful actually. They tried to give us our food that another customer accidentally took out of the store, without knowing what could've happened to it (they opened the bag). While orders needed to be fulfilled, some of the workers were messing around on their phones, clearly unfocused as they messed up our order, and shot us dirty looks when we asked about our food. Even saw some inappropriate behavior, such as giving middle fingers. Completely unacceptable and an awful representation of Panera. Went to Panera. I very rarely eat at Panera although I know the food is food. Today, I stopped by with Hubby who had never been. He had the Turkey Bacon Bravo and soup. I had the Turkey and Avocado BLT. I looked at the sandwiches which were similar but made sure I got the one with avocado. It took much searching to find the avocado. I know the main ingredient wasn't Avocado but 'Really'. There were tiny chunks that could barely be seen or tasted. We were pleased to walk in to almost no line at the registers. We placed our order and were given a number, rather than given a buzzer to come fetch our food when it came up. This was a huge problem. We waited and waited on our food. We watched several other tables get their food and we started to wonder if our ticket was lost. Apparently, yes, it was. The food runners started to notice that we were looking around wondering where our food was and asked the kitchen for our numbers. I tend to be picky, so I grab food as I can. The menu was lacking for my tastes, but the panini I got was fantastic! Initially, they hadn't heated it much, so I started walking back up to the counter to get that fixed. This is your standard Panera. It's a good place to get a warmed up bagel and coffee or a hot soup and bread at night. The atmosphere in Panera is very.. I would say modern/kitschy the staff here seem to be a little slower than other Paneras I've been too. They didn't have a few of the soup options available that I'm used to from other paneras and they also took about 10 min to pour the soup I ordered and give me a premade salad. These stores are all mirror images any where you go. The good news there if your in a strange city if you come to Panera the food will taste the same as it does at home. They do have a nice assortment of breads and pastries and in the morning I am quite fond of the individual souffle. Fresh and tasty. I enjoyed a chipotle chicken sandwich and a refreshing sweet ice tea. Panera was very busy, but it only took them a few minutes to have our meal ready. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating area is covered to protect everyone from the hot sun. The cashier was very patience with us and took the time to answer our questions. My sandwich was so fresh the bread almost fell apart. It was nice to do our shopping and have a fast, yet healthy meal. I tried their chicken soup and it was good. They had freshly brewed sweet-tea, freshly brewed iced sweet-tea, and tangerine tea ! The restaurant was extremely clean. They had muffins,cookies and other pastries. I am not sure if I have ever been to a Panera Bread. Low carbs does not sound like it was possible but I was with some others and really had little choice. I had a salad with chicken and lime citrus dressing that was really, really good. It took a little while to get our meals but the place was clean and the food was above average. Very convenient spot for those travelling 95 outside of Jacksonville. I would recommend it for a quick spot that is better than most fast food. read more

I love Paneras -- it is perhaps the only chain eatery I will seek out. However, we stopped at this one, #1047 today on the way to the airport and ordered coffee at 4:07. All 4 of the coffee urns had times on them of 2:20 and 2:35. My daughter's Hazelnut was hot, but my dark roast was COLD. I gave the cup to the clerk to pour out, he said "We'll make fresh coffee, which one do you want?" & a girl took the dark roast & another urn in back. I kept checking and no coffee -- after HALF AN HOUR I asked for tea. The manager came over to say that after 2 they have limited selections, I could have one of the 2 urns remaining. I pointed out they were the SAME urns saying 2:20 & I had waited half an hour. I asked for my money back & it still took her FIVE minutes to do that!!!!! On the way to a flight!!! I eat Panera quite often, but I have never been to this particular location before tonight. The panini that I ordered was sloppily put together and cold and the Macaroni and Cheese was also cold and mushy. The bread was the best part, but it wasn't fresh, either. I also had to stare at dirty tables the entire time that I was there and they weren't busy at all. Even during the lunch rush at the other locations I frequent, they are constantly clearing off tables and are on top of things. Oh well, my loss I guess.
