Sliced Steak with chimichuri sauce and green beans on the side. The steak is ontop of a seasoned rice
Zay J.

Steak with onions & mushrooms & Chimichurii sauce on the side. The flavor from the greens reminds me of a cajun inspired dish that you cant find anywhere. It has seasoned rice on the side which matches the flavor. Highly reccommended!

We went early because this place looks like it gets packed. I could see a visit going good or bad based on the wait. Prices were higher but they do have some specials mon-thurs before 6pm. Food tasted pretty good! We had pork sandwich and 6oz sirloin. The fries are steak fries and were not great in my opinion. Seasoning was light and they were a little soggy somehow. They had some good drinks and tasted good. The table got bread and peanuts which eas a nice positive because food took a good half hour to cone out even before they got busy. I'm wondering if thwy lost the order or something because it eas abnormally long wait for places like this. Bathrooms were meh. Clean enough. Service was OK. I'd come back but they to visit during off hours.

Haven't been to TR in a while. We decided to try it after years of being away. We were very satisfied with the experience. The filet and baked potato were excellent. Cooked perfectly. Rolls are always a winner. The waiter was fast and friendly. Ambiance is always good, not overly loud but not quiet either. We liked this location. We will be back again!

I dined at Texas Roadhouse for Dinner located at 13139 City Station Dr in Jacksonville, FL Upon entry, I asked for their Health Score so I could take a photo and was rudely told by the Owner, Dave, that he didn't have to divulge that information to me and I could find the information online. Even though I was extremely disappointed with his horrible attitude and unprofessionalism I still rated my experience as 4 stars. Kasey & Lexi saved my experience and they both were very attentive accommodating and courteous. We enjoyed the grilled shrimp with a loaded baked potato and steak fries and the three piece catfish with a loaded baked potato and Caesar salad. Everything was delicious. The ambience was loud with multiple TV's on multiple sports channels. Thanks Kasey and Lexi for improving my experience. Much appreciated.

This was the first time at this Texas Roadhouse location. We went there the day before Valentine's Day. I got the 14oz Ft Worth Ribeye with fries and house salad. I love their Ribeyes!!! Very good flavor and very tender. Love the fries; very good flavor. The only negative about the meal I have is they put the steak directly on top of ALL the fries which made them soggy. As soon as they put the plate down I immediately removed the steak off the fries and put it onto another plate!!! Luckily it didn't affect all the fries "this time". * Don't put the steak on top of fries unless we "the customer" requested it!!!! I HATE soggy fries. My wife ordered the 12oz Prime Rib. She loved it and had perfect flavor! Both salads were great and very tasty. Our waitress was very friendly. In my opinion; the food is a 5 star! The presentation of the steak on the fries is a 1 star. Out of all the other steak houses in our area Texas Roadhouse has the best steaks!

I have been to this chain many times in Alabama and Pennsylvania and had great experiences. That was not the case today. We arrived at 11 when they opened. The rolls were cold. I ordered the ribs. Five minutes later I was told they did not have any. I then ordered the steak kabob. It came out cold and sloppy. If my daughter didn't have a flight in an hour I would have sent it back.

Typical Texas Roadhouse. Great steaks cooked to perfection with a lively atmosphere and friendly staff .

My sister, son and I were in the are around 8pm on a Saturday and were thinking of somewhere for a tasty dinner. I've only been to a Texas Roadhouse in my home city, but love the food. So I suggested this spot and we headed over. We joined the wait list on the way, which I love this feature. We arrived and were seated in about 5 minutes. While being shown to our table the hostess asked if we wanted rolls, we said yes and she said they will be up in a few minutes. Ok, no biggie. We were seated and given menus. About 10 minutes went by and I saw a server walking by waiting on other tables so I asked if she knew who our server was. She said she could help us. We ordered drinks and asked for rolls. We needed a few more minutes to decide on food. She came back a few minutes later and we put our food orders in. My sister and I both ordered 14oz Ribeye's with sides and my son a tenders Ranger meal. My sister ordered her steak medium rare with chili and a baked potato. I ordered my medium with baked potato and baked sweet potato (I love my carbs). A few minutes later we saw all the tables around us had their rolls so they definitely had them. Tables that were seated after us had their rolls. About 15 minutes later, people who'd ordered after us even had their meals. I flagged down our server and asked about the status of our order she said our food was done and in the window. A few minutes later our server came by and said "oh, yeah your food" and walked away. Well she still didn't come back for 10 more minutes with our food. When we received our food at which time we finally received rolls, everything was cold, not even warm. The potatoes which hold in heat were even cold, the chili that sits in a heater was cold. My sister's Ribeye was well done. Our server did not come back to check on us. I finally went to go find a manager so I went to the hostess stand. The lady called a manger who didn't come so finally she went to the back and got her. The manager came out and asked me what the issue was. I stated everything that had occurred. She asked me where I was sitting, I told her the area, and I asked her to follow me. She kept asking me which table, I was irritated and finally told her I don't work here, I don't know your table numbers, why don't you follow me, which she finally did. The manager then took all of our food back to remake everything. It took less than 10 minutes and everything came out hot and we also received rolls. The apologized multiple times and stated the server did admit she forgot about us and didn't know why she didn't come to our table when we were seated. It was her area and she knew better. This was such a disappointment. I'm glad the manager made it right, but with no discount and wasted time, it really was completely unacceptable. Actually the manager did give my son a free cup of chili, but really $4 on this bill. I really expected more when we were ignore so badly.

8oz thick cut New York Strip- delicious!

We've been here several times now. It can be hit or miss sometimes. Between service or cook temperatures. But overall it's not enough to keep us away. This meal was an 8oz thick cut New York Strip Med Rare with a baked potato. I did get a side salad but it was devoured but I could get a picture. The steak was cooked perfectly and baked potato was fluffy. Meal was great along with plenty of yeast rolls.

I love that we were able to join the waitlist online and continue our shopping experience in river city. Because we joined the waitlist online we were seated right away. Our waiter was very friendly came over, got our drinks and appetizers made. Some suggestions came back with our drinks and winahead and grabbed our order. He was friendly. When we placed our order, we asked if our salads would come out first. He said yes they will so we placed the order with salads. The salads did not come out first. He gave us a free appetizer for next time and apologized. He was quick to try to resolve including saying he can packaged it to send home, we didn't want that so he gave us a free appetizer. The food was great, the rest of the night was uneventful.

First let me say that Brendan was 5Stars on his own. He sat with me and answered my questions patiently and came back several times to ensure each course of my meal was as I expected. I ordered the 8oz sirloin based on Brendan's recommendation and though I was skeptical I ordered it. I've never had a sirloin that was so tender, my medium steak was perfect! All I required was smothered onions, no sauce, and it was seasoned well. I began with the house salad. The house salad came with tomatoes, cheese and croutons. They didn't have a vinaigrette but that was ok because it was still good. My steak came with a sweet potato, you can choose 2 sides. Again, delicious. The butter isn't my taste but it didn't require it. Nor did the sweet rolls. I came alone and they were able to sit me at a singles booth or for couples within 10 minutes. There were conversations going on all around me, that means people were coming to eat because the food was good. I believe this is my second time at this location and it didn't disappoint.

I got the German chocolate cake (this apparently isn't their normal one) and my husband got the dulce cheesecake. The waitress we had was great, and she recommended lots of tips and favorites to try. Calamari was prepared well and not too chewy. We shockingly each chose a salad: the bistro steak, the chop chop Asian, the goat cheese, and the salmon. Each one was incredible. Mine was the chop chop and I absolutely loved it! It was HUGE and you can bet I ate every single bite. Loved it!' We finished with the brownie topped with ice cream for the birthday girl, it was extremely tasty! Thanks again to Evan for making our night! He was a fantastic waiter! Would absolutely request him in the future.

I was pleased with the overall appearance of the dining area. It was intimate and felt romantic...at first. The place is nice but it doubles as a lounge after maybe 10pm or so. This made what started out as a romantic dinner, turn into a rush to get home. It became super crowded near where we were seated and the service became stretched. The food was good. There was complimentary bread that came with an olive oil dip reminiscent of Carabba's. For dinner I ordered tuna crudo, shrimp and lobster pappardelle , mushroom arancini, and brussel sprouts. I won't go as far to say that anything was mind blowing but the dishes tasted good. The pappardelle was the star it was balanced and loaded with fresh shrimp and lobster throughout. The mushroom dish was pretty much a risotto ball that was breaded and fried. The tuna crudo was okay, fresh but lacking acidity and umami. The brussel sprouts were charred nicely and came with a yogurt sauce. There was an array of dinks. Cocktails, wine, champagne service, and two bars to sit and have drinks or dinner. I ended up getting the Sirocco cocktail x2. The drink was made well and tasted good. I would definitely give Cataluna another shot, just not so close to party time. This place is great though if you like upscale lounge vibes with food. If you want to try something different for a late meal or hangout, make Cataluna a destination to try

For dinner I got the braised short ribs, my husband and brother in law both got the chimichurri steak, and my sister got the pork schnitzel. I've been looking forward to the braised short ribs all week. I was a bit disappointed that when I bit in, it appeared to be pretty bland. Normally when I get this meal it's bursting with flavor. My husband and BIL enjoyed their steaks. My sister enjoyed her schnitzel, but said the pork could have been a bit thinner. We ended the meal with their skillet cookie. Typically the cookie comes out piping hot, but on this occassion, while the skillet was hot, the cookie wasn't. We'll give them another shot, but I was a bit disappointed this time around.

She started listing various options and provided details why they were her favorite. Someone who only knows the menu backwards and forwards and has personally partaken in the food would know such detail! It was so refreshing to hear her just talk about what she liked and why. And the most important part the "why" she liked it! You don't hear that too often. I had a conversation with the manager, Erik, and reiterated to him the importance of having such a dedicated professional (he promised me that not only what she recognized her for her outstanding job, but that she would receive two free meals as a reward for her customer center approach.) My friend had the del monico steak and they cooked it perfectly - the way he liked (breathing and mooing). My other two friends had the fried shrimp which they devoured!
