First off. I don't mind tipping. I get it, minimum wage is not enough. I don't like the fact that i have to tip as i use my debit card before I'm even served. Today i ordered a coffee and a breakfast sandwich. I got my sandwich with no sausage so i go back and let them know, the lady behind the counter doesn't apologize or even looks at me she just throws a sausage on my egg as i was explaining. As I'm waiting on my Latte i happened to look up and i see a cup sitting up there. I walk up and ask if it's mine they all just look at me and shrug their shoulders. I wish there was a change jar or a tips jar for me to go back and pull out my tip. read more

I've had multiple unpleasant experiences at this location, but the blatant disregard for customer satisfaction that I encountered today finally pushed me to write a review. I placed a relatively simple order for an Asiago bagel and a plain iced coffee to go. Over ten minutes later I'm still waiting for this order. Finally I tell the woman at the food counter (brown hair with large diamond tattoo on her right hand) that I had been waiting 10 minutes and would like a refund. We silently make our way to the register.. not even a mention of, "I'm sorry." She asks what I ordered, I tell her, and she immediately makes sure to yell to the kitchen to cancel my order (God forbid they prep a bagel that they will turn around and sell another of in less than 5 minutes). She hands me my receipt for the refund and the amount isn't even correct.. wow I didn't know that it was so difficult to correctly ring in a bagel and coffee. I didn't have the patience to comment on this as she has already completely wasted 15 minutes of my time. I hope that this individual isn't a manager, and if she is, I strongly suggest a re-evaluation. Having worked in the food industry for a decade I would have given an unhappy customer their order at no charge and later looked into the root cause of the ordeal. At the very least, an apology would have gone a long way. read more

I have gone to this Panera for years and I dread anytime I have to go to this location. The staff makes it very well known that they are annoyed and busy, even to the point where they will argue with one another in front of guests. I think the staff preparing the food forgets that they can be seen or heard, and they are extremely rude to the staff on the other side. I also use the rapid pickup order, and this last time was a mess. Apparently someone took our order, and when we asked if ours was ready, the young women shrugged and replied, "I don't know, people take the wrong order all the time" and then stood leaning on the counter. After a while she finally went to go ask her manager, who acted confused as well. I understand assessing the situation, but you should also let the customer know what is going on. The manager/lead went to the back and remade the order, but did not tell us she would so we stood around still confused. Thirty minutes after our scheduled pick up time, we finally received our food. I think the staff just needs better training on customer service. We can all feel that they hate their job. read more

Do not eat at this Panera. Went there yesterday for lunch with my friend and she witnessed an employee leaving the bathroom without washing her hands after using the toilet. How disgusting!!! Started out bad but they turned it around and all is well now. We've never tried Panera before but we will be going back for sure. It was a heavy traffic day, December 30th and Panera Bread was super busy when we got there. We ordered online and paid for our order but when we got there, our order had some problems. They didn't have the particular bread that we ordered for one of the sandwiches and there were no desserts. There was a line of people waiting for their orders too. The kitchen was backed up but I have to give them credit...instead of just making the sandwich, they waited so they could ask what other bread would suffice. We weren't very happy but after thinking about it, that was the correct way to do it. They didn't just put any bread on the sandwich and hide it in the bag just for us to get down I-95 and find out it was wrong. Now for the food...really good sandwiches!! My turkey sandwich was just like my mom used to make. I was pleasantly surprised. We all enjoyed our dinner sandwiches and rode home with smiles on our faces!! Thanks to the crew that was working so hard to get the food out on such a busy day/night. Happy New Year to those that work hard to keep this busy corridor running. read more

We do love that Panera is one of the few places that truly offers healthy foods. I love their French Onion Soup and 1/2 sandwich combo although I must admit - the sandwiches don't really have a lot of flavor and are quite expensive considering it is basically one slice of bread, lettuce, tomato and a bit of turkey. ($12.00 for the half combo) The staff walking around the tables (2 mature ladies) were very friendly and helpful - the counter staff not so much and seemed impatient that we wanted to look at the menu before ordering (even though we stood back and let others go before us so as not to hold up the line) Seating is comfortable but does feel a little cramped at this location - it is small compared to other Panera I have been too. I like Panera bread but I always have to change the original way it is made. I think the price is a bit high for 1/2 sandwich and a cup of soup. The staff is always pleasant and the food does taste good once you get it right. They sent me a coupon for 50% off and free delivery but I couldn't use it because they don't deliver to me. I am 3 miles away! Of course they didn't tell me that until I completed the order and paid for it then we had to go pick it up. read more

The Fuji Salad is really good. While Panera isn't the healthiest place to it, it definitely surpasses the restaurants in this area.

This is a pretty friendly Panera. Its a good spot to have lunch if you are headed to the airport. They have a wonderful outside seating area as well. I enjoyed the Thai chicken salad. I would return if I were in the area. read more

Most reviews hit the nail on the head with this location. Frequently out of multiple menu items at the same time. If it were always busy I could probably understand this, but the few times I have been its sparsely populated. The worst thing is how they will lock their doors two hours before their posted closing time and just shrug and shake their head through the window when you try to figure out what the hell is going on. Line was long. The tablet order system did not work because there were no pagers left. Found out after we put our order in.

This place has gone down hill the last few times I've been. The last time, they were out of tea and when I asked if they could make more the lady stared at me in disbelief that I even asked her to do so, and they were out of Tabasco, which they keep behind the counter like it's too valuable to put it out with the other condiments. This time they were out of lemonade and tea, like completely out so they couldn't even make anymore, and there were no lids for the cups. Seems a little picky but a restaurant should never run out of things like that. Also, on my last visit I earned a free pick two but when I went to redeem it today it didn't show up on the card. When I showed the worker the email that showed my pick two and the fact it expires tomorrow she called the manager over who stared at the email like he'd never seen one before, then proceeded to tell me that I had to call the corporate office because there was nothing he could do. That's completely unacceptable. Oh, and as I write this they bring my food with plastic flat ware, I guess either there was nobody to do the dishes or the dishwasher was out of service...I'm over this place. read more

Come here a lot to study. Food is ok most times. They never have a full assortment of bakery items. They made a mistake on my salad & put tomatoes when I asked for none. They gave me no romaine lettuce instead.:/ When I sent it back the "considerate" cook just took the tomatoes off and gave me back the same exact salad (full of tomato seeds...). I was so hungry just ate it....I'm glad i don't have an allergy or anything or I would have problems here! I've experienced much better.....smh read more

Wow, clean the bathroom sometime this year. Went in for coffee and pastries and wish I had not. Paper towel dispenser had been broken and not repaired. Toilets and floor looked like a truck stop. Don't waste time. Dirty restaurant, dirty kitchen. As we were leaving they were closing and left the vacuum cleaner in the middle of the floor in the front door. Sad. read more

Regarding Catering & Delivery. I have found most Panera catering to be hit and miss. NOT THIS PLACE! This may be the absolute best Panera for catering in my entire territory (Brunswick GA, down to New Smyrna, FL). Dependable, accurate, on time, tasty, and excellent catering staff.
