    Taco Tuesday
    Tim A.

This is a pretty good place. They have a lot of options on the menu. Usually this is a bad thing but they do everything well here. Tuesday they have 3 tacos for 7.99. You can choose chicken or ground beef, hard shell or soft shell. They even let us mix it up. These are not street tacos but they have lettuce meat and cheese only. Tasty and filling. We also ordered a Chile relleno. They are a little different here. You can get them stuffed with beef, chicken or cheese. Then they are topped with a red sauce and cheese. Pretty good.

Combo #12 burrito, enchilada and chile relleno.

The appetizer was out super quick and plenty of them. Should have got a picture hubby got a combo#12, I got the fajita quesadilla with steak. Delicious!

I always enjoy going to this restaurant. They changed a few things from the last time.We were there but still very good. Having allergies make it very hard.. but when she had a question she was quick to ask, and then verify that I could eat it. She did a great job taking care of us. The food was great, I like the changes to the restaurant that were made.

Combo special #8? 2 burritos with stuff on it.

Went for lunch. 2 of us ate with no drinks for $28ish..so not cheap but we left full and it tasted good. I heard there were 2for1 margaritas all day but we didn't verify or try them. Complementary chips and salsa included. The chips are ok. The salsa is good. A bit light on the cilantro but good. Food was fast too. We'd come back for sure

Food was so yummy, such a cute restaurant with vibrant & colorful decor. Our server took a long time to bring our check, but everything was great other than that!!

Their is always good! They don't skimp on their portion sizes either. I love that the food comes out blazing and the service is always quick, even during their rush hours.

Come hungry!! The portions here are delicious and HUGE! The service is very kind, food took some time but was very fresh and worth it. I loved the kitchen in the middle of the restaurant, you could see all the action happening. They were grilling fresh fajitas, making fresh tortillas, etc. The complimentary chips and salsa is very tasty, very mild yet flavorful salsa. I got the fajita burrito with chicken - tasty chicken and bell peppers and onions inside. There was A LOT of rice, so be prepared for that. It was really big and filling! The chicken and steak fajitas were huge portions - likely could feed a family of four haha. They came with a big, sizzling platter of meat, bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes. It also came with a side of refried beans and rice, and a Mexican salad - lettuce, queso fresco, guacamole (not fresh made by the looks and taste of it), and a big slice of fresh tomato. Everything was delicious - I of course wish it was spicier, but it was still yummy! They also have quite an assortment of margarita flavors, I didn't get one this time but they looked great!

A+ chips & salsa, free refills. Ground beef tasted low quality w/ a mushy texture, per my sister. Shredded beef was pretty good and lean, so I liked that. The cheese had a velveeta flavor...overall not "authentic" Mexican cuisine. The price for their food was reasonable w/ $10 meals during lunch hours. Enchilada sauce had an Italian lasagna flavor...sadly, would not recommend.

Man, it was one of the best decisions I've made on the road lately! The food came out hot and fresh with that real homemade taste. The tacos were packed with flavor, the rice and beans were on point, and the portions were generous enough to fill up a hungry driver without breaking the bank. I went with the carne asada and it hit the spot perfectly - seasoned just right, not too greasy, and cooked tender. Service was quick and friendly, even when they were busy. The place has that classic hole-in-the-wall vibe (in the best way), nothing fancy but clean and welcoming. It felt like the kind of authentic spot locals would keep coming back to. Only reason it's not 5 stars is the parking can be a little tight for a big rig if you're not careful, and they don't have a ton of truck-friendly seating space. But the food more than makes up for it. If you're rolling through the area and craving real Mexican food, definitely stop in. I'll be back next time I'm in the neighborhood. ¡Muy bueno! -- Carlos, SemiTruckDriver

Like I don't know if it wasn't mixed well, or they heavy handed it, but I wasn't mad about it at all. The steak tacos were delicious and very flavorful. I'd get these again and again in heartbeat. Service at the bar was great. Food arrived faster than expected, but I had also got there as their night was winding down. My friends and I were originally going to eat here for Cinco de Mayo, but when I got there at 6:45, I was told it would be a 3.5 hour wait. They had a DJ outside pumping out fast and upbeat music for the party and an outside margarita stand for grab and go drinks. When I arrived back just after 9, I had told them to take us off the list. She informed me that they tried calling me. Nothing came through on my phone, but she did show her call log and sure enough, it showed they called me around 8:20. My friends and I probably would have stayed to eat here originally had we been given a more realistic wait time guesstimate. An hour and a half wait vs 3.5 hours is much more feasible. Oh well. I'm sure I'll be back in the future. I've always enjoyed Anejo.

First off we ordered steak burritos- paid extra... the meat was literally STEW meat- not steak! It was so disgusting. The 30% off code - LOVETACOS - is good on the entire menu on Taco Tuesdays. The deal & code are advertised on a window poster you'll notice as you walk up in addition to another poster advertising a great lunch deal available. I ordered the Shrimp Tacos (corn tortillas, lettuce, breaded fried shrimp, chipotle mayo, and cilantro) minus pico & they were great. The shrimp were freshly fried and steaming hot. I had to wait a bit because a large catering order was being finished as I arrived. The manager offered me a free Jarritos and apologized profusely for my wait. I took it as a good sign that their tacos are that popular plus it gave me time to enjoy the gorgeous murals by ARTBYJAE. The floors were sticky and our shoes stuck to the floor. The women's restroom was out of order. The kiosks seem like a good idea but nobody there to ask questions or to get your drinks. If you can catch one of the two people working as they bring out orders you are lucky. The menus on the kiosks are pretty informative though and tell the ingredients for each item. Kiosk automatically adds 20% tip unless you change it. Considering you don't have any interaction with employees until they bring out your order other tipping options might apply. They cook to order which is nice except you don't get your drinks or your appetizers until it's your turn. There is a comment section to type no tomatoes or special instructions. Mine still came out with tomatoes but they promptly remade it for me. The food is pretty good. No complaints there other than having to remake one of my tacos. The chips and queso was pretty good. Chips were dusted with spices and served hot. We tried 6 different tacos and they were all very good. The tortillas were toasted on the grill which makes a big difference. You can get flour or corn tortillas. The chicken and steak were marinated before grilling and were big cubes and plentiful. The menu has a pretty big variety including a kids menu with chicken and fries. The last comment is their fountain machine for drinks. The coke tasted off. They may need to recalibrate it. Drinks are served in small clear throw away cups and the lids don't fit very well. Refills are hard to get. You have to wait for someone to come out of the back. If these small complaints don't bother you the food is very good.
