This is my favorite Tesla charging stop! Food and drinks have always been great here. Service is a little spotty. They could certainly benefit from a little more attentiveness there but overall it's still my favorite tesla charging stop between Jax and sav! We ordered a side of guacamole and a combination platter for us to share The guacamole was average, nothing special. It had rice, beans, grilled green onions, grilled cheese square, roasted corn on the cobb, grilled chicken and carne asada. Portions were sufficient and temperature was appropriate. Both the meat were juicy, but this is where it all falls apart. TASTE: The guacamole was our highlight. It had good texture, but needed salt. It didn't pop. Rice was flavorless. Corn on the cob was dry. Chicken and carne asada tasted grilled, but lacked seasoning. I was quite surprised for Mexican food to be so uninspired. My meal was pretty good. I had the Pollo Loco which was spicy grilled chicken with peppers and onions. The side of rice could have been hotter and the side of vegetables were a bit too salty. This spot has a full bar and a nice atmosphere. Bonus oitside seating if you choose. A very expansive menu with something for everyone. They have daily and weekend specials on food and drink. Portions are good, although menu items are a bit pricey. $20+ per entrée not including drinks. The food was excellent. If I had a complaint beaides price, it would be the salsa. It was not very flavorful and not spicy at all. We did have an issue with billing. We ordered a special but was charged full price. The service was excellent--our waiter was friendly, attentive, and took the time to explain that they had just launched a new menu, which was helpful. The waitresses saw us sit down, and then they sat down. They saw us sit down and we were between two tables who had food, so they walked right by us. We sat for 20 minutes and they never even asked us what we wanted to drink. I couldn't imagine how food service was going to go past that. So we left. And the ladies all watched us walk out. I wanted to like this place, so I gave it a second chance -- but both visits left me feeling sick afterward, which is a huge concern. Driving down I-75 I found this Mexican restaurant on yelp. A couple of miles off the interstate. A nice newish restaurant with a hip bib I suppose. I got the enchiladas poblanos. Took a long time in an almost empty restaurant at 3pm. I think it could have spent a few more minutes under the salamander. Makes me miss my local Mexican restaurant that is moving to another location about 1/2 miles from the old location but has been closed since new years. read more

Stopped here twice on road trips. Both times we had pleasant experiences. I have had tacos and the Birria quesadilla and enjoyed both of them. The decor inside is excellent! The menu is pretty vast so there is something for everybody. It is situated in a small strip mall facing the road. There are a few other places to eat right around there and a Publix across the street when you arrive if the parking spots are all full, they have added a gravel parking lot at the end of the strip mall. Very helpful! Definitely worth a stop if you are traveling down on 95. read more

I've been eating Mexican and Tex Mex for 60 years, chains and family owned. 1st family owned is hands down the way to go. But we wanted Mexican and this was the closest. The 2nd thing on my checklist is does the chain have Tamales? Most of the time no, too much work, to me not a good sign.... Well they have Tamales here that are 7 out of 10 with the lack of big massa the only negative, the pork is tender and moist. My wife had the build yourself dinner and loved the pulled chicken tacos. Food is actually really good, the prices are just high and the wait staff is not very good or experienced. Waitress was not very attentive or good with people, possibly new to serving. Flautas we're really good, packed full of meat but cost $15. Queso was $5 instead of $7, I believe because of happy hour 4-6pm daily. Food came out extremely fast. Large table next to us ordered a ton of dishes that were but and looked really good too. The service is on point and the chips and salsa are fresh and delicious. I ordered the California Burrito and holy smokes is it big. Either bring an appetite or a friend because it's big and no regular human can eat it. It comes with fries which can be added inside of the burrito if you want them in the burrito, you just need to tell your waitress to have the chef add them inside. Service took over an hour and the restaurant was not even busy. When I complained to the manager he said "you're fine, our kitchen is busy preparing for Cinco di Mayo at 5 tonight". It was May 3rd and 1pm. When I asked for tortillas to go with my meal that cost $27 they told me they were extra but would comp them because our food took so long. They took 15 minutes to bring the tortillas out and by then my food was cold. Anejo's is one of my favorite restaurants but I will never eat at this one again and do not recommend it. read more
