Average TexMex food in my book. I had the spicy chicken salad and the jalapeños they put on the salad unquestionably added heat. I had ordered fir carry out and discovered the utensils they give you are flimsy plastic junk and I had to stop elsewhere to get utensils and napkins. Food was good, SERVICE WAS AWESOME, and the atmosphere was family-friendly. Came here for my niece's birthday dinner and we were served fresh tortilla chips and salsa literally as soon as we sat down. That's amazing! Everyone that works there is friendly, and our server was awesome and very attentive! He came to check on us multiple times. They even gathered to sing Feliz Cumpleaños to my niece, and gave her a complimentary churro dessert, which she enjoyed! I ordered the Enchiladas Poblanas and the mole sauce was perfect! My only wish was that I got more rice with my entree, but maybe that's just me being a big back. They have a variety of dishes on their menu, and a bar. Another plus is that our food came out super hot. I love that! The venue could use some touch ups as far as drywall patching and such, but the service makes up for all of that in my opinion. I did get a plate that was chipped, so I would recommend just throwing those away and not giving them to customers. But I would still come back and try other dishes on their menu. read more

Staff are nice but I ordered 20 tacos for a party. I got 20 tortillas with cooked ground beef. No seasoning, no toppings. No salsa for the side or anything. I tried to give it to my dog and I'm not even kidding, he wouldn't eat it. The tacos were like 4 dollars each too. The one thing I do enjoy is their seafood stew. Other than that, I'd check out San Jose right next door. The meat in the nacho libre has a very odd taste every couple bites. We have been going to this restaurant once a month faithfully for 3 years. My daughter goes to a doctor just down the street once a month and we love Mexican food. They have the best and Jose is the best waiter. He knows us and has our drinks and queso with chips when we come in. Absolutely love this place. read more

I was traveling to St. Mary's, GA for a day trip and decided, based on previous reviews, to stop in for lunch. The place was so dark inside that I would not have been able to see the menu without the aid of the flashlight on my phone. The host, who did not greet us, took us all the way to the back to booths that were along side the bar area, which was full and it wasn't noon yet. Food was very good. I had spinach enchiladas and someone else had chicken enchiladas with tomatillo sauce. They felt it was a little spicy for them but they have a low tolerance for spicy food. Every time I go here they charge more than what is on their menu. Both their online and physical menu are not accurate. I ordered 10 asada tacos. On the menu it said 2.99. When they rang me up it was more than $40. They said I ordered the "tacos authenticos". That's why they were more. Let me get this straight, I need to pay more to get authentic tacos at this supposedly authentic mexican restaurant. And the worst part is that they're not good. Service was slow. In fact, the server disappeared after he served us our food. Ordered steak fajitas and a chicken fundido (chicken with fajita veggies on top and rice on the bottom. ) Also ordered cheese sauce because the chips were really good and why not a good cheese sauce with them. Just like the salsa, they he cheese sauce was so wet that it dripped on the way to my mouth. The dishes we ordered had no fry on them. The fajitas looked like they were taken off a soupy buffet and there was no flavor whatsoever to the fajita steak or veggies. For the food, My boyfriend and I got the same thing, the 3 steak tacos with rice and beans. The chips and salsa came out first, the chips could use some seasoning, they lack flavor. The salsa was a bit watery, but pretty good. The tacos came out with just cheese on it, the meat was very crispy, it was good tho. The rice and beans were room temp. I sent it back because it was not hot and mine looked gritty in one place, I will provide photo. The food came out fast.. too fast, I'm talking like less than 5 minutes. Faster than McDonald's. She comes back out with the rice and beans and says they heated them up for us in the microwave.. I still had the same beans with the gritty, film over it. The rice felt originally microwaved. Anyway, the bill came and I asked if we could just get charged for the tacos, instead of the whole meal since we really didn't touch the rice and beans, they did that with out any hesitation. I like the food. The atmosphere and service could always use a little improvement. I am the type that hates to have the drink cup empty and that's is my main focus on tips too. Empty glass means poor service ( could be short handed, lazy wait person, or a combination); regardless, if my cup sits empty, we'll, you know the rest. For Good Mexican Food I go here. The Menu is Huge, the Queso and Margaritas are always THEE best. I live the place. Try the very first thing " On the grill" part of the menu, it's steak with other shrimp on top bake potato, and beans. I switch out the potato for rice of course, makes no sense to have beans with no rice right?!? My Jumbo Mango Margarita thoooo Huge tasty and had me WASTED. Very good food we placed a take out order and good grief they put a ton on your plate. The restaurant was a Friday evening around 6 I walked in and got a greeting right away very nice folks. They had a fajita for two with chicken, shrimp, steak, and pulled pork LOL that is actually for 12. The food is very good, the prices were very reasonable and the take out order was so fast I barely had time to sit down. about 10-15 minutes from start to turning on the ignition on my car. When I got home sometimes when you order take away and get home the food looks as if they placed the container in a dryer at high speed. Not this place it looked really good and again very tasty. I was extremely dissatisfied with my enchiladas verde. The chicken was hard and there was barely any sauce. My beans had queso dip on it instead of regular shredded queso. Tortillas and chicken were dry and hard. I will try again because this place typically has okay Americanized Mexican food but haven't been there in awhile and can't be sure if this is the new norm. Stopped here late on a Monday night. Place was pretty empty. Our server was nice, food came out ridiculously fast. I noticed a lot of the menu items came with baked potato and vegetables which I found odd for a Mexican place, however they had no problem substituting for rice and beans. However if you want Mexican food but baked potato and vegetables are life, you know where to come. I had the carne asada, I was expecting an actual steak, however what I got was chopped up fajita meat with onions. It was decent but not what I expected. My girlfriend got stuffed chilies, she said they were decent but not amazing. Overall decent place but not the best Mexican food we've had. read more

I've lived so many places, and traveled everywhere, yet I still find myself craving Mi Casa. No joke, while pregnant, I ate their lunch specials at least 3-4 times a week! Their food is always so hot, fresh, and flavorful... My favorite is the Pollo Loco, which consists of chicken and rice smothered in queso dip. It is a must try if you love cheese, because their queso is the BEST! Customer service is always excellent, I honestly have no complaints. I currently live in FL, but I can't wait for my next trip through GA, because you best bet I will be stopping in town just to grab a plate from here! read more

Time to find another Mexican restaurant. So I was charged $3 more than price online for my pick up order meal; guy said it was an old menu. Fair enough. I asked for hot sauce and they said you now have to pay for it. Hot sauce. At a Mexican restaurant. The guy charged $1.34 for a 2 ounce time container of hot sauce. He claims if you dine in you will also be charged as it is no longer free. Either he's a liar and thief or Mi Casa is hurting financially to charge for hot sauce. read more

food is a hit or miss... Drinks are usually good, maybe we caught them on a off day. Took longer than usual to get our food in, we were understanding because it was lunch hour. the guacamole we ordered as an appetizer literally only tasted like avocado, no salt no lime. After the waiter took our food we decided that we didn't want the burrito anymore, knowing that they would just put it in the microwave (like they prob did the first time) so before they could bring out the "new" burrito I went to the front to tell the man that we didn't want it so he could tell our waiter. He had such a rude manner and tone to his voice saying how it was the guacamole and the lettuce that was cold and I proceeded to tell him that I knew it was the meat that was cold because I touched it and saw it and kept arguing back-and-forth, which made me mad and I told him to take it off and he continue to follow me to my table, telling me how it was just the lettuce and guacamole. Excellent location and great food. Attended with 4 of our friends and it was delicious. Pitchers of margaritas were very refreshing. Chips and salsa were served first thing while drink orders were being taken. All ordered entrees and wow were they great. Will for sure be back to try other menu items. read more

First time here at this restaurant with my family party of three for lunch. Very disappointed on the food. Service was okay. THIS SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED MEXICAN FOOD. My so called crunchy taco was rubbery, my enchilada had cold hard cheese not melted as it should be. I had to use the knife to cut the enchilada due to the hardness of the tortilla. ( very old tortilla) the beans were warm not hot. The overall lunch was not acceptable. The only thing we enjoyed was the beer chips and salsa. Will not be coming back. read more
