Wow. This visit with surreal and I just had to comment to the manager at the end of it. Tammy, the woman who took our order, was so personable and friendly. She went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and she is amazing. The food order was perfect. This group in the back prepping the food are 'spot on'. I spoke to someone whom I thought was the manager, Kenny, but he turned out to be the GM and the Manager was Eddie. I asked them if they had their staff train at Disney University. My visits here are only occasional but I'll be visiting much more frequently now. I loved the new rustic potato soup and it's now my new 'go to' soup (although the Autumn Squash is also addictive). Sandwich was decent, but soup was tepid. Wait time was reasonable. Price is rediculous! Will NOT return.

I have had really great experiences with Panera, including this one in the past. This morning though was weird. I come in at least two or three times a week, use my sip club, and drink usually two or three large cups(32oz) while I'm here, which according to the policy is fine. Today, I went in with a half gallon jug because I didn't want to waste a cup, and got told that 'they'd let it ride this time' but that they usually charge for a half gallon. I asked if that was true even with the sip club, they said yes. I didn't come in, get a half gallon, and then leave, indicating that I might be taking it to share or something. I've brought in my reusable half gallon jug to this and other locations before also, and never encountered any issues before. Even showing it to the clerk when they ask if I need a cup. I sat down and started working on my laptop, finishing half of the jug before anyone approached me. Not bad, just weird. One of the other patrons commented about it too. If that's what policy is, fine, I'll still be back, but the place feels just a bit less friendly now. read more

Came in at 6:10 pm and tried to order home style chicken soup and got told they were out. Told they were out of the chicken and rice soup as well. Wife got what she wanted and I settled for just a drink. Got my cup and headed over to the drink station and nothing available but fountain drinks. No tea or lemonade. Sat down and started looking around, very few baked goods on the shelf. They've got three more hours of telling people, they are out of stuff. I'm surprised. Panera, you can do better. read more

The food was good but the silverware was dirty and I had to ask for plastic silverware. I ordered a bottled water but when I went to get one they were out and the girl gave me a cup for water. I said "Shouldn't I get a credit on the bottled water I didn't get? She replied, Oh, you want a credit? Can't you get a cup of water from the fountain? Yes I replied, I do want a credit. Then very snarky she said wait a minute, I will have to get a manager. So a team leader came, and I explained the story again then she said okay I will have to get the manager. So the story had to be retold a third time and I did get a credit and the manager was very nice but the whole ordeal seemed ridiculous for a credit on an item I didn't receive. read more

This is the slowest Panera, lots of people working but at a snails pace. Came in for a you pick 2 plus a cookie, $15 no freaking way I'll be back, I can get a real meal at a sit down for this price. read more

Crappy service. Food is horrible. Managers are rude. Be prepared to wait 30 minutes for a bagel. Restaurant is also nasty and dirty.

I ordered a bowl of tomato soup and the steak and cheese sandwich. I had the order delivered and it arrived within 25 minutes of being ordered. I was preparing to microwave the soup when I realized it was piping hot. The sandwich is delicious with just the right amount of filling. The best part is there is enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow!! read more

In the world of Panera's, this one is close to the best I've experienced. Went to the drive through and was happy to see a beer addition, a family meal pack for 4 for $29. Workers were friendly and patient while explaining the info and they brought it out to our car when it was ready. Even though Panera is a chain restaurant they have good solid food. Always good. I adore the tomato soup and the French baguettes.

Better not be in a hurry! You'll wait 10-minutes for a toasted bagel and then have to remind them about your coffee and wait on that.

Hidden charges check your receipt carefully twice already I caught it fist time I was okay weird doesn't add up but got my refund explanation was she is new and hit the deliver fee button mgr said . second time at different location didn't add up either brooksville Florida I looked up online and there is a class action lawsuit regarding being overcharged . I love Panera. I've consistently had a good experience at this location so I find the previous reviews about bad service funny. I love their creative salad and sandwiches not to mention their pastries. I always get the raspberry almond thumbprint cookie and the green goddess chicken Cobb is also one of my favorites. It is on the pricier side but I think it's worth it for good fast food. Definitely beats eating crap like McDonalds and paying close to the same thing. Recently tried rapid pickup for the first time and that also worked out great using the Panera app. read more

Service is extremely slow, zero communication with customers my mother and I sat there for 10-15 minutes before I had to physically walk up to the food counter to ask for assistance to order... DIRTY!!!! 8 tables were not wiped off food on the floor trash littered the floor and the table tops. Dishes PILED in the trash area... like cmon it's Panera bread there should be a busser. I worked for a Panera bread in Jacksonville and it was way more kept up than this one. Shame because my family and I love Panera bread. read more

How can panera survive the pandemic with poor customer service? - I arrived at 10:13 and receive the email - I let them know I have arrived for curbside pickup - 7 minutes later a worker waddles out empty handed to let me know my order is not ready. I had to wait another 15 minutes watching customers come and go until 10:36 when the same person brings the order including a partially cooked spinach and bacon soufflé - I would not serve such poor quality food to our dogs. Disgusting In the last 5 curbside orders only 1 was correct. Even if the slip on bag says everything was checked do not believe them. One order was missing a soup and one order did not have utensils - both times we did not discover until we had driven to whispering pines park for our picnic. Shame on panera read more

Rude little girl barking about masks and being confrontational. There are no mask laws and you can't wear a mask to eat food. She made a scene and argued with me and others to the point that other customers came up to tell me how they agreed with me and to comment on her behavior. So in this "cancel culture mentality" business like this one need to be added to the boycott list. And she got our order wrong on top of everything else. read more

In this day and age you would think they would come up with a solution for Gluten-free. There are many people who suffer from celiac disease or are gluten intolerant. Tomato basil soup good but warm. Had to microwave it at their place because the kitchen wouldn't touch it. Coffee lukewarm, empty thermos. Waitress ok but didn't get me the cup for coffee if I didn't ask for it. Forgot to give me the pastry I ordered also. Overall food taste is goo but they should serve the soups hot. I knew when I went to pick up my order I knew that I needed to look in the bag. The young lady that brought my order to my truck even indicated what I ordered. WELL, when I got home I was missing a soup. It's not the soup! I will live without the soup. It's the attitude of the "Manager on duty" with her basic I don't "Give a F" attitude when I called to complain. From location to location, the food and service is always the same. The consistency of these things is what keeps me coming back. Recently, I have been going during breakfast time. The personal breakfast souffles are perfect in size and pretty healthy, as a pastry filled souffles go. The spinach and artichoke souffle is my personal favorite. Their bagels have always been fresh and offered a large selection. It seems ever time j come in, the selection is either being reduced or I am in between the replenishment. The cream cheese selection is also reduced. This location has friendly staff and is kept quite clean. Very pleased and will be back for more. read more

Horrible! They forgot to give me second tea and had to ask for it. Then I got home and instead of giving me a Greek salad they gave me a side Cesar salad. I called to complain and ask them Manager on duty to make sure the girl at the window look at orders. He never apologized and when I said where is my apology, he said nothing. They insist you wear your mask to order but they expect you to eat at dirty tables and bus them yourself. This is the third visit that all of the empty tables were dirty. I asked for someone to come clean some and they never showed up. They also have done a very poor job with table spacing. If someone used a tape measure and some common sense they could open at least two more tables. read more

When I think of Panera, I normally associate quality, service, etc. The Panera in Inverness is far from that. I have been here several times since their opening. Each time there is something broken or not available. The first incident was a toaster. How do you not have a working toaster? Go buy one from Walmart... today all I wanted was a Chai Tea Latte (for the wife) and the espresso machine was broken. Is there only one? I would think at $4/drink you would have a working machine and/or a backup if they are prone to breaking. I will continue trying Panera when I visit my parents, but it hurts my image of the company every time I am let down. This is consistently the case in Inverness. Panera Bread has always been a little pricey but I guess you get what you pay for so it is worth it to me. I have eaten there twice & both times it has been consistent in speed & quality. The Inverness establishment is clean & they offer a nice bakery. The staff is professional but not necessarily friendly. I will visit again Update Lately the last few times I have been there, they have messed up my order. Forgot the pickle, forgot the desert. Also I noticed that the Napa almond chicken salad recipe seems to have changed. The last 2 times I ordered it, it had sliced deli turkey with just a little chicken salad which is NOT what I wanted. Once it even had guacamole in it! So I have to cut my rating down to a 2 Star. read more

This restaurant is very poorly run / managed....coffee is out by mid morning and you feel they are too busy to bother. The food I have ordered has always been wrong in some way or cold....! And the latest embarrassment..they have opened their inside area ( per the governor ) but are refusing service unless you put on a mask..even though you are six feet from them ! Of course, I can go to the drive in which puts me closer to the server..Without a mask ?? !! I refuse to jeopardize my health ( I cannot breath sufficiently in a mask ) nor pander to their skewed ideal of customer service...And all this for BAD coffee..! We just had a coffee over here so no complete review. The staff was very friendly and the space looked clean. The toilets were clean too. At this restaurant you get a cup and you have to fill it with coffee by your self. The hazelnut coffee is very tasteful but sweet. read more

We went to the Panera Bread in Inverness, have been there before and it was good, but this time, for the price it was awful. I ordered the bbq chicken mac and cheese and a blt sandwich. The mac and cheese was just the regular with some bbq sauce poured on and some pieces of ground of chicken, the bacon on my sandwich was burned, the cheese was just a little dab and the there were three little tomatoes on it. The bread was hard. I couldn't eat the sandwich and only ate about 1/2 of the mac and cheese. My husband got a sandwich and chips. There might have been maybe 10 chips in the bag, and his sandwich was not made very well either. The biggest issue was when I went to get my mac and cheese, the spoon was dirty, I said something to the guy and he gave me another which was dirty also, Took about 3 trys to find one that was somewhat clean. Says it was residue from the washer...not so! Won't be back to that Panera! read more

We use to drive to Ocala to the nearest Panera at one time. I was so happy when they opened one in our town we live in. That joy was short lived. I again wait to get Panera for when I'm in a different town. I have been through the drive through and when I got home my order was wrong or soup cold. I have also ordered online and received items I didn't order. Not to mention the past few times I have eaten there I have gotten sick. The last time I went through the drive thru and when I got home I only had 1 item in my bag that I actually ordered. I have always called to let them know their mistake but I have never gone back for the correct item or even asked for a credit. This past time I called and the manager told me that their wasn't a problem with my order and that if I was looking for free food I wasn't gonna get it! I won't be back. read more
