I'm from up north so coming to this place I was excited to walk in and have an Italian sandwich I looked at the menu to come and realize they had no Italian sandwich nor did they have any roasted red peppers in the building whatsoever so I ordered one of their most popular sandwich the Brooklyn bomber was excited to try even though I felt like just leaving, but I give it a shot . instantly regretted it. It's like having a side salad in your sandwich with a bunch of Italian dressing disgusting also disgraceful to the sandwich world please change your name know that this is a disgrace to name after Brooklyn not having an Italian sandwich read more

Bought some corned beef from them once(and only once). Worst I've had in my life They put their back to me when wrapping it up so I couldn't see the garbage they were giving me read more

Stopped by and pursued the menu which was bigger than I thought it would be. I chose the Rachel with a side of potato salad which was excellent. The salad was a good size with great potato and egg taste. The Rachel was full meat and a great dressing. Next I'll try them for bfast read more

We finally tried the Brooklyn Deli Too and the food was delicious. It's rare that I like anyone's potato salad and theirs is exceptional. We will definitely be going back to try other items on the menu. The young lady that took our order was friendly, and helpful. If you haven't been, give them a try, you won't regret it! read more

Brooklyn Deli Too - Bronx Bomber sandwich - Delis Near Me - Inverness, Florida

Finally stopped in today after living here over a year. Did not disappoint. I got the house special the Brooklyn Bomber with everything. Got my sandwich to go but the place is clean and service is friendly. Love the old school lunch counter. First thing, the bread is amazing. Super soft and has a nice chew to it. Italian deli meats sliced perfectly....yum! The Italian vinaigrette they use and the chopped cherry peppers put this sub over the top! I will definitely be back again! read more

Located in the Fountain Square Plaza is a little deli called Brooklyn Deli Too! It's been open for twenty six years so you know they have to be doing something right! It's not a fancy place with designer food but a nice solid Mom and Pop deli serving good sized sandwiches and salads that fill your belly and satisfy your hunger. They offer seventeen cold deli sandwiches with your choice of breads or wraps and fifteen hot sandwiches and subs plus ten different salads. Their beverages include fountain drinks, iced tea- sweet and unsweet, bottled water and specialty sodas. Sides are potato salad, macaroni salad, pasta salad, cole slaw and chips and big dill pickles. Bread choices are white, whole wheat, rye, kaiser roll and sub roll. Their wrap choices are honey wheat and tomato basil. This means your options are too numerous to count! Today my choice was the seafood salad ( heavy portion) with lettuce, tomato and onion on a sub roll with a pickle spear. The crab salad is very good. It's mostly crab with a little sprinkling of celery and onion and very light on the mayo- just enough to bind it together. Very mild flavored. The nine inch roll (very fresh) is so packed that it gives my jaws a work out! I give it a sprinkle of good old salt and pepper and it makes me a happy camper! My hubby had the pressed cuban- it too is on a nine inch sub loaded with six ounces of ham, pork and cheese, pickles and mustard pressed until crisp. He enjoyed his cuban with a deli pickle spear on the side. Two fountain drinks rounded out our order and we were pleasantly full when we left. It's a solid deli that seems to have a great take out clientele. We will be coming back in the future. read more

Everytime I come to town to visit family I visit the Brooklyn Deli for these six reasons. 1. The Ambiance is homey and down to earth. 2. Any sandwich can be made into a salad (This girl loves Salad) 3. The Brooklyn Bomber is a beast of a Sandwich that I try to conquer often and never succeed. 4. The Pickles - who doesn't love yummy pickles. 5. The cookies and brownies 6. The staff is super awesome and generally know what my nephew and I want before we even reach the counter I have been going to BD since elementary school. This is my favorite place in Inverness for a sandwich. read more

Well there can be no line and you'll still wait 15 minutes for a cold sandwich because they're making sandwiches for phone orders in fact call from the back of the line and you're first in line. There signature sandwich the "Bomber" has a sauce that stings the tongue like expired dairy. A sandwich a side and a drink will be yours for over $10 breaking a threshold no sandwich shop should have the stones to attempt. Skip it. read more

The food was delicious. Too much focus on deliveries and not in store customers. The staff was rude. Will not visit again due to staff.

Great local eatery! Everything is fresh and the staff is friendly. Great subs, salads, and love the desserts!

I had the Brooklyn Bomber wrap today. It was delicious! I also enjoy the chicken salad plate. The staff is always super friendly. Thanks y'all. read more

This deli strives hard to maintain quality good tasting food time after time. It is one of those places that survive in a location that should condemn them to never being found. Word of mouth was the only way I knew to try them back in the fountains.. read more

I love the Brooklyn Deli!!!!!! I order from here at least once a week. They deliver to my work so it's super convenient, great prices, and always a perfect order. Excellent subs, salads, and my absolute favorite mac salad. The BEST mac salad I've ever had in my life. 10/10 would recommend this place! read more

Im surprised no one has wrote a review of this place the owner is usually there. It has been open for over 15 years. The meats are fresh cut and HEAVY. I am from Orlando and occasionally i have to drive through Inverness. I will go out of my way to have the Brooklyn Bomber which is their Italian. Stop by and give it a try. Expect lunch to be busy. Its one of the best Italians you will have outside of NYC. read more

Today was my first time there in several years. I ordered the Brooklyn Bomber with lettuce and tomato. There was none of either on my sandwich; hence, the 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that, it was very good. I love their iced tea....I mixed sweet and un-sweet, and it was perfect. read more

Great little deli, make thick stack sandwiches or medium or small. All meat is Boars Head brand. Try the Bomber (on the menu) or turkey Reuben (off menu). Some small tables, can also sit at the deli counter. Tucked away in a shopping center, can't even see it from the road, but make sure you stop in for a good piled high sandwich! read more

Really great little place tucked away off the road. I've visited them twice now, and enjoyed myself on both attempts. They make it fresh to order - your way. They have great salad options as well as subs (hot and cold). I tried the hot pastrami which was amazing (they use Boar's Head meat) and on my second trip I tried their chicken salad sub, which again was quite satisfying. Clean shop, small, but really clean. The staff was great on each visit as well. I'll be back to try something different! read more

love the salads, i.e. chicken, potato and mac. they are so fresh and home made tasting.

If I could; I would give this place no stars. Customer service is horrible here. I ordered a Brooklyn bomber pressed with a salad to be delivered at my job that's only five mins away. I was unable to get a break so i thought it would be more convenient for me to deliver it. I called early at 10:30 am and made my order. I spoke to Reeva /Reba. An hour went by and no food. So I called back and spoke to the same lady. She told me that the girl who is delivering has not returned from her previous deliveries and that she should be back soon. At this point, I was being very patient with them. Another hour went by and it's now 12:30 and still no food. I called for a third time and spoke to Reba and she told me that the driver was around the corner and should be here any minute. I finally got my order at 12:51. When I looked at my sub the bread was soggy due to it sitting in sauce for hours and was cold. I called the restaurant and Reba was beyond rude. She was trying to say that she told me at 10:30 that I would not get my order till 1pm because her driver goes to Tampa in the mornings. She never disclosed this information to me and I wish she did because If I would have known that l; I would of ordered from another restaurant. So she is on the phone arguing with me and calling me a liar. I tried returning my sub and she kept hanging up on me. When I called back and asked her why she was hanging up? She replied "I'm busy". This business does deserve your money. Reba is the owner and she should be more professional. I paid 15 for my order and couldn't eat my sub. I don't recommend this business. Save your money read more

Girl made my sand which in about 2 minutes and it was not as ordered another was stale bread I Hate stale bread never eat here again

Great sandwiches, everything was very fresh. Cheesesteak was really good, perfect spot for a quick lunch.

Finally found this little deli and I'm glad I did so far every sub I've had is awesome. My favorite is their potato salad it's just like moms :) read more

My wife and I usually split a large pastrami sandwich with a couple of potato salads, it's great and plenty.

I used to order from this place a lot. They are one of the only places that will deliver to the area I work in. However, I called to place an order one day and got an extremely rude worker. I canceled my order because of how she was speaking not only to me, but people on her end as well. Unfortunately, they have lost not only me as a customer but several others as well, who have told me they've also had the same experience. read more
