Went to bar to be served. Place has a few patrons none at the bar. After receiving my food bartender didn't even check in on me to see how the food it. Service 101. She was busy talking the staff, Door Dash people. Ordered the HICKORY BOURBON CHICKEN - DOUBLE. Chicken was good, broccoli was good. Mashed potatoes were dry. Couldn't even get my bartenders attention to even ask for butter or maybe gravy. When she came over to give me my tab I told her the potatoes were very dry. She wanted to comp me but I refused. My complaint wasn't to get free stuff. I did inform the bartender that she didn't stop by once to check in on me. She said she got buys with like 4 or 5 things at once. This place has great food. The salmon is always cooked perfectly; never overcooked. Veggies cooked just right too. The wait staff are efficient, with the right amount of attention and always pleasant. The reason for only 3 stars you ask? The ambiance is nearly nasty. The windows (many) are awfully discolored (not dirty, but foggy). The carpet is threadbare and looks black, but it's not. The booths are beat, as are many chair seats. The painted wood is chipped. I haven't been to the bar, so can't comment on it. I will add the bathroom is clean and overall it seems clean. I've lived near this restaurant for just over a year. I've waited for it to be updated before writing a review. I appreciate the perks of having a loyalty card, but I would never take my family there or go w friends bcse it's not an appealing place to spend a lot of time. My family and I went to ruby Tuesday the other day and there was only two waitresses for the whole restaurant! The poor girl on our side was the waitress and bartender and cashier. While she was running around there was a female manager leaning against the server window playing on her phone, she did walk by us one time and never treated us or anything! They food was not very hot and there was minimal attention given to us at no time were we asked how our food was until we were almost done. I want to first acknowledge and commend Miss Destiny. She is on top of the salad bar. She keeps everything full, fresh and clean. Although we have been enjoying our salad bar passes, and both of us successfully gotten our weight under control I cannot not mention their desserts, which as our reward we indulged in. One dessert is large enough to be split with 2. The new manager has been a delight, and the attitude of staff reflects that. We've been going 3 to 6 nights a week and have experienced great service. It's like going to Cheers, where everyone knows your name, or at least what you like. Thank you Lori, Amber, Lilly for making our evenings a joy, I am horrible with names, but also to the hostess, and the rest of the serving staff. This is more about Ruby Tuesday in general, but I will agree with a previous post that the Inverness men's restroom needs attention. Unless you have a coupon, Ruby Tuesday is overpriced. They do have one thing going for them and that is a nice salad bar. The price is $12.99 and does not include soup or decent bread. They also struggle to keep the bar well stocked. They do have a special one day during the week with a price of $8.99, which is where I think it should be all the time. I have tried their burgers and fries in the past and found them to be average at best but also overpriced. Their management focus should be on the salad bar. Develop a descent bread, add one or two soups to justify the $12.99 price. If they are to survive then many other challenges to address but the salad bar is their niche. read more

Went here tonight on a Friday evening before the Friday rush happened. The back house staff was super friendly and did a great job getting things out in a timely manner and the waitress was super sweet. At the end of my dinner it was picking up and yet everything remained on schedule and I didn't have to wait for anything. Amber was my waitress for the night and brooks was back house. We went to the one in Inverness Fl. We haven't been back in a while because when we would go in around 8 the salad bar was always about empty and never tended to. Decided to go for the 8.99 burger and salad bar. What a difference!! I understand there have been mgmnt changes, up through higher levels not just the store. Jacob was our server and he was great!! This is the only Ruby Tuesday's in our county and we've been there numerous times with really great food and service experiences- so imagine my surprise to see such a low Yelp rating and read some of the Yelper's reviews. I even questioned whether we should go there for their very rare offer of Buy One Get One free entree deal that lasts one day only. My husband and I decided with our positive past experiences and very good food to go and see what ALL the negativity was about. When we got there around five or so - the place was hopping! We found a parking space and went in. The waiting area right inside the entrance was full except for one spot which I took while my husband went in to put our name on the waiting list. We figured a 15-20 minute wait at least but was pleasantly surprised to be seated in less than 5 minutes. I would like to address the first complaint about not being addressed by staff or acknowledged. My husband was greeted right away when he put in our request for a table and we were both made to feel welcome by the person seating people at the tables. Our waitress Bethany came over right away, introduced herself and greeted us in a very welcoming way and asked for our drinks request. She also told us to take our time looking through the menu. The menu is extensive and loaded with many choices for everyone's taste and dietary restrictions. Bethany came back with our drinks and took our order. We then showed her our BOGO coupon. After that disclosure, her attention and professionalism did not waiver one bit. I ordered the Chicken Fresco meal with two sides. The Chicken Fresco is two boneless/skinless chicken breast topped with tomatoes and in a lemon herb sauce. It was perfectly cooked and absolutely scrumptious. The chicken was tender and juicy and the tomatoes were cooked just enough to have some bite to it. The sauce was very, very tasty with a lemon flavor with hints of herbs and a splash of balsamic vinegar put it over the top! Light and refreshing - perfect for someone who doesn't like heavy cream ladened choices. My two sides were also great. I ordered their steamed broccoli and asked for extra lemon slices on the side. The salad bar was my other choice- it is an additional cost of $1.99 with an entree but well worth it in my opinion. Well stocked with several choices of lettuce and every salad ingredient you can think of and some you can't to the six different choices of salad dressings or oil and vinegar. The second complaint other Yelpers commented on was the lack of attention. Some stated it was because they ordered the special. Well, all I can say is that our level of great service did NOT suffer because of our BOGO coupon and I know for a FACT a large amount of the customers that day used one JUST like mine. Their service didn't suffer either because while eating our huge salads we listened to and watched how other servers treated their customers. We were impressed with the level of professionalism. Even the manager on duty was greeting people and cleaning off tables to keep the flow going so people wouldn't be waiting for a table long. A third complaint from previous Yelpers was the quality of Ruby Tuesday's food. Our food choices were excellent. Our chicken was cooked thoroughly but remained moist, our sauces and side dishes were tasty and the salad bar was kept full and chilled. Nothing we had was undercooked or sub par. I don't know what happened when these other reviewers went or their preferences but their reviews don't accurately represent the Ruby Tuesday's that my husband and I have learned to love through the years. My advice to them is to give Ruby Tuesday's another chance. Every restaurant could have an "off" day. read more

Shellie and Yasmin are superstar employees. They both work hard to take good care of their patrons. So friendly and helpful! I'm used to using locally owned restaurants, but I felt like something different today. Great menu! So many options. Shellie was great at telling us they have a phenomenal chef right now, and what he cooks best. Food was decent. We were happy. Gotta admit when we first got there my expectations were low. The hostess simply asked how many people. Not Good afternoon, Welcome to Ruby Tuesdays, not How are you. Just "How many people". Then takes us to our booth, as she turned to leave she said "You're waitress will be here in a min". Very lackluster beginning. Then we get our waitress Athena and let me tell you, she changed the entire vibe. She was super personable. I asked for her opinion on a couple drinks and she steered me right. Then my bother was trying to decide on 2 burgers, Athena explained how he could really get both on one. She made sure your drinks were never empty. Absolutely amazing. Had to send back " meatball sub" as well as "Chicken Tacodilla". The meatballs were not as good as even bagged meatballs you buy at grocery store. The Tacodilla could've have been ok if not for the cheese whiz concoction they put on and ruined it. Asked the waitress and she said it was " cheddar " cheese. Ok a friend and I go for Tuesday's 6.99 burger on Tuesday's. Its been awhile since I've been here food was good for the price. Service was excellent. Big turn offs this place is so run down. Carpet is disgusting. I refused to be seated on that side. Table was worn as well as furnishings. Ambiance means alot even with a 6.99 burger. I highly doubt I will go back. Just the thought of the carpet causes a gag reflex. I gave 4 stars for food and service. read more

We have always had good food and service until recently. They have new managers that are not pleasant at all. Several employees have left. Today we ordered steaks. My ribeye was so thin and lots of fat. Said something to waitress and all she said was that is how they are getting them. Then charge $18.99 for 6oz. The sirloin was the same way except it was $17.49. waitress never came back to see how our meals were or if we needed anything. I stopped her and asked for a box to take my steak home for my dogs. She brought it back and a copy of our receipt and never even said Thank you. They need new managers and new employees. This is very disappointing. read more

The salad bar is kept well stocked and fresh, the food here is top quality, fresh made, great portion sizes with amazing flavors. Walked in with a party of 9 for late lunch on 6/27 I was put off by the mold or mildew smell of the restaurant alone but pushed through for the rest of my party. While the wait staff was nice there wasn't much sense of urgency. Once we received our drinks one of us has a FLY IN OUR DRINK. It took a few minutes for our waitress to circle back to our table(it was not very busy either) and as we're actively talking about the bug in our drink and debating if we should stay our server is asking if we still need time to look over the menu and because we didn't give a yes or no answer in the midst of our debate on leaving she asked to go serve her other two tables.
