I also ordered the cheesy grits which were an extra price to do the cheesy and it was literally grits with a piece of American cheese on top. Do not go to this place do not order from this place. Let's start with the atmosphere. Everyone working there are accommodating and very friendly. The service was spot on with Alycia and she was even refilling other folks coffee cups and they weren't even her customers. What a warm place to eat at and now let's talk about the food. Everything was cooked on point. The Hobo meal was awesome with the grits cooked just right. The corned beef hash was really good too. To top everything off the actual owner Alex was busy bussing tables and was our cashier too. I've been to the Breakfast Station several times and, as my rating suggests, it has been OK -- a 2.5 rating for the food, rounding up for the convenience and the always pleasant staff. My party of three had approximately a 10 minute wait when we arrived for a late breakfast today (shortly after 11am on a Saturday). Breakfast Station has always been crowded when I have visited the area and it clearly has a loyal following. Staff was friendly but still maintained an appropriate professionalism. Breakfast Station is a small chain and, on paper, it has a menu that can compete with other breakfast chains in Florida. In the execution, however, Breakfast Station leaves something to be desired -- specifically, flavor. I ordered a vegetable breakfast skillet. Sautéed potatoes and vegetables on a fajita skillet with scrambled egg whites on top. Vegetables are always fresh and the appearance is fine, but I consistently get the sense that the kitchen has no familiarity with even the most basic of herbs or spices, and I am fairly certain that the sautéing is accomplished without any fats. (To be fair, I have not included cheese on my skillets, whether today or in the past, so it may be that the chain assumes that the fats, and the flavor, will come from the cheese.) Coffee was slightly above average for breakfast chains, and that is a plus, especially in Citrus County, Florida. Rye test was insufficiently toasted and lacked flavor as well. I go back to Breakfast Station because I have not found anything better in the area, and because I do think the staff are pleasant and the facility maintenance is very good/clean. If Kiki's or First Watch come to the area, however, I would choose either of them over Breakfast Station. Breakfast for three came to $45; so less expensive than breakfast restaurants I have experience in Orlando or Tampa. read more

I have enjoyed this place for breakfast. The service is always wonderful! Today, it was especially superb. I ordered my Florentine Benedict and it came out very runny with a lot of clear and uncooked eggs. I was dissecting it because I am not one to send food back unless I absolutely can not stomach it. Elaina came over and noticed I was dissecting it and wasn't able to enjoy it. She asked if she could have them remake it for me. I told her it was okay and I would eat it. She insisted they fix it. She brought out a new plate and it looked perfect! Thanks to her and the cook for remaking them. The great thing is, I was able to enjoy another cup of coffee before my day got too busy. read more

It was close to lunchtime when we stopped at the Breakfast Station in Beverly Hills. My husband loves breakfast foods but I prefer lunch and dinner items. Breakfast Station offers us the choices we prefer. We had a little bit of a wait since several tables were dirty and had to be cleaned before we could be seated at one. Our waitress was nice but left her tip from her previous customers on our table for almost our entire meal. It kinda bothered me that all the times she came to our table - drinks, food, refills and checking on us that she couldn't pick up her money and pocket it. She seemed in a hurry to take care of us so she could go back to the register to talk with the other waitresses. That being said our food was good - not great but good. I ordered their smothered chicken breast sandwich. Served on a grilled bun is a half of a chicken breast grilled with swiss, mayo, lettuce, mushrooms, onions and tomato. Good flavor and cooked well done but not dry. My sides were coleslaw and fresh fruit salad. The coleslaw was good but nothing unique to make it stand out in the crowd. The portion that I was served I felt was a little small - I think they could be more generous in their portion sizes. Their fresh fruit was very good but again a smaller portion than I thought they should serve to their customers for the price of $ 7.29. My husband enjoyed his biscuits and gravy with two over easy eggs. His eggs were cooked to perfection and his portion size was generous and the price was less than my meal! So my two small criticisms are : management needs to keep an eye on the waitress's work ethic and increase the portion size of their side dishes other than that it was a good dining experience. read more

Servers were so busy talking to each other they paid no attention to customers . I had to ask for a server . The food was terrible . French Toast was flat and dry. Scrambled eggs were overcooked and had little pieces of black in them . Coffee was horrible . We were never asked if we wanted more coffee, or if we enjoyed our meal . Left a minimal tip . I am happy to see Beverly Hills has a breakfast place for people to hangout, enjoy food and have a nice conversation. Overall the establishment has a nice atmosphere with pleasant servers. I am originally from this area and am happy to see a sit-down breakfast style restaurant has opened. The food is your typical diner quality food and is worth the money. For around here,if you're looking somewhere to go to breakfast to enjoy some quality time with friends, family or whoever-- I think this can definitely be your go to place. Will I be craving this food and wishing to come here every minute, no; but, for the price and for the location I think it is worth and I hope to see them stay in business. My family loves this place and I am glad they took me here for the experience. They live close by and this is their go to place (they eat her at least once a month).
