Our first time eating at the new Lecanto location. Very nice outside ambiance to welcome you into the restaurant. Inside is gorgeous with large wooden beams on a vaulted ceiling with the ever present huge moose head above the entrance way. We called ahead because we had a party of six. Their tables usual seat only four but they have extensions to add to the table to enlarge it. I was hesitant at first thinking the extension would be wobbly but in fact it attached to the table well and was extremely sturdy. We were greeted warmly by our waitress Diana who asked for our drinks order and appetizer. She interacted well with our young grandchildren who are shy and have difficulty in giving their order. Diana wisely made sure they had plastic cups with lids for their drinks which saved us from having embarrassing spills. Our appetizer that we ordered were their Rattlesnake Bites. They're fried round breaded balls made of Jack Cheese and chopped Jalapenos. Served with a Cajun Sauce for dipping. We were served a nice sized portion for sharing around our table in a paper lined basket. They were good but not as tasty as their Pickle Chips. They're still number one in my opinion. My entree was the 14 ounce Fort Worth Ribeye and I asked for it Medium Rare with fried onions on top. My steak was cooked perfectly and tender as can be. Fried onions enhanced my steak. Excellent flavor profile - just seasoned right. My two sides were a House salad and their Seasoned Rice. The house salad was portioned well. Made with fresh, crisp lettuce blend, cherry tomatoes, diced eggs, shredded cheddar cheese and crunchy croutons. I ordered it with an Italian vinaigrette which I loved. My seasoned rice was very good also. Firm rice cooked with a delicious seasoning mix and sprinkled with fried onion bits that made me happy that I ordered it instead of potatoes! We had a fantastic time celebrating my granddaughter's birthday with great food, great service and a special birthday song with a free dessert for the birthday girl. The rest of us skipped dessert because we were full and took home doggy bags and to go cups! We are so happy we finally have a Texas Roadhouse in our county now and we will definitely be repeat customers! read more

Food is almost always wrong. Need to start auditing my orders. Not bad food... just not what I'm paying for, as I often don't receive my full order OR I'm missing ingredients. Same difference I guess. (I order take out) Don't think addressing the issue has helped any. TLDR; food is typically good, but often wrong or missing items. read more

I own a cattle ranch. I know good beef. This is not that. They put the steaks under glass and bank on people not knowing what a good steak looks like. The best steaks ate ugly fatty looking marbled and even brownish and moldy looking when ready and aged. Properly not bright red sprayed colored and not a bit of fat. It looks like it's the new 3d printed lab grown crap to me. Sorry but no thanks. Here we have a local place where the steak isn't bad. Called stumpknockers. Look up the most expensive wagu beef steaks on you tube or peter lugars meat locker. On yt read more

Great staff and service. Steamed veggies undercooked. Steak meh. Only real food winner, the mushrooms! Again staff service phenomenal.

We stopped here on our way to visit a local attraction. We ate a prime rib entree and just split it because our appetites are not as big as they were when we were younger but the food is terrific! The free peanuts and dinner rolls with the cinnamon butter are especially appreciated and enjoyed for sure! read more

I was celebrating my Birthday, and I could have when anywhere, but I received a coupon for a free appetizer, which I gave the waitress before ordering the meal. I checked my receipt later and it wasn't applied. I phoned the manager he agreed to email me a coupon for the mistake. The next day no email, and I contacted the same manager, he reassured he sent the email. Still no coupon. Great business practices this company has. read more

Husband and I went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and got there about 4:30, things were getting crazy busy. Walked in and a very sweet employee was standing there taking names, got checked in and gave her our phone number and found a seat. 10 minutes later my phone went off and we were taken to our table by another cheerful employee and she brought us a basket of fresh hot buns and butter, yum! Our waitress came right over and took our drink order. We ordered when she returned, large menu, lots of appetizers and entrees to choose from. Our Ceasar salad came quickly and it was delicious and fresh. Soon after our dinner was delivered in a timely fashion. I had Chicken fried Chicken steak with gravy and mashed potatoes, it was hot and tender and I really enjoyed it. Husband ordered the rib eye steak and baked potato. Well, unfortunately his steak was so tough and chewy and for 35.00, no way. Our waitress came right over and took it back to kitchen and couldn't have been any more apologetic about this. The Kitchen Manager returned to our table with a new steak and baked potato and also apologized and she stood there until he took a bite of the new steak and he was very pleased, it was delicious and he was happy. Dinners were good, service was excellent, things happen and the thing of it is that Texas Roadhouse made it right! I will return to this location again. Debbie read more

What a pleasant surprise. Went to the "early happy hour" for dinner. Everyone at our table ordered the ribeye special and it was very good. Tender, cooked to order with a choice of sides. All at a reasonable price. read more

My family went here to celebrate my mom's 91 birthday with a party of 10 . When we asked to have tables , The young lady behind the counter was rude to us and dismissive The floor manager Bryan was NO Better!! Their lack of caring is Non existent.. They ended up sticking us in booths and broke us all up. Very disappointed in this restaurant. Please don't go here if you have a large party of guests they are not and will not make any reservations or accommodating at all. No matter how nice you ask. Not worth the trouble nor was the food. There are other steak houses opening up in the area, that I know are more than willing to accommodate a party of 10 and treat you more kindly!! Its not what you say, but how you say it that can make a big difference! In a customers experience in your business and whether they will want to come back! read more

We've been here a number of times and have never been disappointed with the food and drinks. While not top notch steakhouse fare, it is above average. Service is competent and (almost too) quick. The ambiance is attractive BUT the overall noise level is very annoying. The main room is barn like with no sound absorbing ability at all. We can tolerate it for the hour or so it takes to eat, but it would be so much better if it were quieter. read more

The absolute worst Texas Roadhouse I've ever experienced Service is behind terrible food comes out cook or uncooked. Was really hoping they would have this sorted out by now. Best drive to Brooksville or Ocala read more

Wed June 29, 2026. Not enough handicap parking! Got seated fairly quickly. Ordered chicken fried chicken. Got the salad and after two bites here comes the food. Big decision do I finish my salad while my dinner gets cold? Hate that I have to make that decision. Decided on dinner first but wait french fries are already cold. Sent them back and got fries with so much salt I couldn't eat them. It should not be this hard when someone goes out to eat. I have been to Texas RH several times and sometimes it's great and sometimes it's just not worth the hassle. Again I promised myself not to ever go back. There are other places that are so much better. read more

Tried for the first time with a To-go order. The food was excellent, everything was correct, and the service was great!! We'll be back in

it's just as good as it gets from the greeters, Managers, Cooks, & to the servers. My personal favorite blooming onion & The ribeye

We are here tonight. Had their steak kabob and fillet. Fillet was so dry and grisly. Husbands steak was tough and grisly. Fork was dirty with food stuck on it. Glasses had some gritty stuff on them that we could wipe off with a wet napkin so not suppose to be there. Buns were old so we asked for new ones. They were much better. Just not up to other Texas Roadhouse standards. Disappointed. read more

Appetizer was cold, waited over an hr. For our orders, while others who came in after us, ordered and received their meals. The eggs on salad were very powdery and odd tasting. The pasta was pasty and Luke warm, with fatty chicken. Bacon on burger was under cooked. Herb chicken was overly salty, veggies were cold. We went early to miss the crowds and to get good service. We were very disappointed with everything. Definitely not going back....The rolls were good but thats it. read more

This is my favorite place for a reasonable priced delicious steak. The atmosphere is Texas country and the staff is super friendly. They are very busy so call or text for seating. Steaks are freshly cut and you can choose one from the steak counter if you like. They still have peanuts but in a bag at your table. It is casual and loud and lots of birthdays to saddle up. But those soft hot rolls with cinnamon butter (addictive).I get the bone in ribeye medium rare. It is charred and cooked to perfection. My sweet potato was good also. Our salads were in a cold bowl and fresh. My wife gets the chili. Service is excellent. They all work as a team. Drinks are cold and margaritas are good. read more

Excellent steak quality, cooked to perfection. Service is great, and it rotates all the time, so all servers are your server. I am a steak lover, and this was a great discovery for me. They keep the ambiance in high key , with a little sqUARE dance every 30 minutes.. (well, I guess the quality and the service will not be diminished if they eliminate the dancing, but anyway :) ) read more

We went here to celebrate our son's birthday on a Friday afternoon. We had a great server that was very good. I had a sirloin with shrimp that was cooked perfectly. My wife had the steak medallions which were ok. Our son ordered a burger, when he bit into it it was raw inside. The server asked if he wanted something else but he declined. She did bring him some ice cream though. This is a beautiful restaurant with great service. They need to improve in the kitchen and get the meats under control. read more

BEST NIGHT of food, fun and giving! It was my first time eating in the restaurant and can't say enough great things. Tuesday is kids night so there was face painting, a mascot named Andy the Armadillo and they sponsor local school's. Tonight 10% of my tab went to a local school's debate team! Best service and server's! I felt like I've been a VIP for 15 years. Truly great food, great atmosphere, great service and the best servers!!! read more

Service was ok. The food not so much. Burger patties are loaded with salt and not cooked to request. The steaks are gristly and dry. I have had better burgers and steaks in town and other Texas Roadhouse. read more

Salad was fresh and crispy, steaks cooked perfectly and my sweet potato was great, not all dried out. The service was outstanding for a Saturday evening. We sat at the bar where we were served by a very delightful and friendly bartender. Another gentleman named Brian came out and checked to make sure everything was good. Everyone was friendly and talking to each other. I will definitely be returning!! read more

Consistently good chain steakhouse. Food is always good and servers are so friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back soon!

My fiancé and I came here for the first time at this location. Hadn't been to one in many years. Similar to Outback as far as food. The ambience was great. Very busy for a Wednesday night. The food was excellent. We definitely want to come back again to try other meals. Try the rattlesnake bites. They were really good. Very tender filet mignon. The rolls were warm and delicious with an amazing butter. The service was not good. The server needs training. She was not personable at all. No smiles. Not friendly. She came back to the table a couple of times. Never offered to refill my fiancé's Coke and he didn't ask for one either. It should've been offered. Never offered an appetizer. Brought the check with no offer of dessert. Was gone for like 15 min after giving us the check. Luckily the food was so amazing, otherwise we probably wouldn't go back. But we definitely will and hopefully next time the service will be better. I was a server for over 25 years, and when I go out to eat, I can't help but notice things. I pay attention to the service especially. It was disappointing to say the least. Definitely go there for some awesome food. You won't be disappointed. read more

Prices are a couple dollars higher than other Texas Roadhouses. The staff was great on their opening week. The food tasted great, but a couple of people had upset stomachs the next day. Take away: make sure new staff are washing their hands. read more

We have been going to Texas roadhouse for years, we have never ever had a complaint about your establishment. The service has always been spot on, the staff is very knowledgeable and very attentive. As for the food., It's always perfect, it comes out promptly and correctly and most of all delicious. We were there. Sunday for my son's birthday. I had my Dallas fillet which you could cut with your fork., Myboys had their favorite burgers, everything was perfect. The noise level is overwhelming, but we overlook it because the delicious food compensates it.Love this place however, we go to TR on Cortez blvd in Brooksville, not Lecanto! read more

You feel rushed and you're treated like number right from the start.Stand here do this never asked if you'd like a booth or table or sit at the bar. Waitress is like a robot rattling off items so fast you can't keep up.Bar tender had no clue what she was doing mixing wrong drinks and just a bad attitude over all.Felt rushed and will not be back. Dinner should be a relaxed atmosphere and you should not feel pressured when ordering.Food was good and cooked perfectly.Have a good day y'all read more

Today, we ate around 3:00 when they opened. Our server was less than stellar as we saw her to take our food order and then not again till 1/2 my meal was eaten. I had ordered ranch to go with my potato skins and ended up with sour cream. Bad services. We usually really like this Texas Roadhouse, but not today. read more

my autistic son and I went to the Lecanto location. from the minute we sat down we were rushed. I was literally half done with my dinner when the waitress put the bill on the table without asking if we wanted desert. we did want desert but I was so annoyed that when I finished we left. I felt rushed from the minute we sat down. I've been to many Texas Roadhouse restaurants across the country and never felt so rushed in my life. I recently moved to the area and will never again go there. totally pissed off the best is when I went to the front desk and ask for the manager the two young girls looked at me like I had 7 heads read more
