I have driven past Sully's Smokehouse several times and frequently have seen reviews, but I had never stopped in until today. I had no idea what I had been missing. The place is small, just three or four picnic tables inside. The owner is pleasant and personable, and the ribs were BY FAR the best ribs I have ever eaten! They truly did fall off the bone! The sides we ordered were collard greens, potato salad, and coleslaw, and each of them were good too. My friend had chicken which was moist and tender. The prices are affordable and we will absolutely be going back there. Sully's is located in a small strip shopping center at the entrance to mid Florida Lakes on 44. read more

BEST BBQ this side of Texas! Ribs are fall off the bone tender, the cole slaw is to die for!!! Good sized portions to make 2 meals out of an order. BBQ sauce is smokey with a bit of sweetness but not overpowering. The owners are amazing people and love what they do, and it shows. read more

When we found Sully's it was a 30 min drive but the reviews sold us on the experience. Wow! The ribs were spot on with sauce on the side sweet and spicy- we ate the entire slab. Tried all the sides and they were all excellent. Especially the coleslaw. If you're looking for BBQ, I recommend making the trip. Sully himself bagged up our food and yes it's quicker than McDonald's. read more

Came for the ribs and they were excellent. we were not disappointed! Loved the sides as well-baked beans, potato salad, greens and coleslaw.

Great fall off the bone ribs. Yellow potatoe salad, collard greens, bbq beans and cole slaw also great.

Personally, I think this is the best BBQ I've had in Lake County. The staff is friendly, the food is absolutely delicious and the price is right The smokehouse is a small place with just a few picnic tables inside. It's clean and comfortable. While I love the pulled pork, I fell in love with the lemon pepper chicken that my husband ordered and that is my new go to! Delicious!! I have tried several of the sides, with the exception of the collard greens, and they are so good. My favorite is the baked beans and the yellow potato salad (they have a white one too). My husband and son do eat collards and enjoy them; the pasta salad is not your typical and very good. The sweet tea is on point, of course. read more

Learned about this place about 6 years ago from the local radio station (WQBQ 1410am/FM). So I won a certificate for jumbo pulled pork sandwich and 2 sides. The sandwich is definitely big enough for 2 to split. The sweet bbq sauce is good and the sides you can't go wrong. I've tried all the sides except for the collard greens. And if you leave room for dessert, most times there is pecan pie or chocolate brownies. A nice way to end a meal. Yum. read more

Sully does the best ribs! I am from the south and have had good bbq but hands down these are the best. The meat is so flavorful and falls off the bones. We love their pulled pork, sauces and slaw too! Great local place with great food! read more

By far the best BBQ the ribs are so tender. It's a little hole in the wall 2 tables inside. You are greeted as you walk in super friendly. The green beans are delicious the potatoes salad is amazing. May want to call ahead because when they sell out that's it. read more

Best bbq I've found in FL so far. Not fancy but the food is top notch. Very friendly service

First let me start by saying this was my first time coming here after many years living in the area - walked in and was greater by the owner - super friendly and helpful in deciding what to order. My husband ordered a FULL rack dry rub to split and it came with 4 sides! We got yellow and white potato salad pasta salad and coleslaw. The coleslaw and white potato salad was my favorite - now let's talk about the ribs - OMG amazing and falls right off the bone - we got the sauce on the side. The unsweet tea was so good and fudge brownie was out of this world ! I will definitely be coming back soon! read more

Best BBQ around I ordered for 4 people and paid $106.00 Best money spent for food in a long time Huge ribs... fell off the bones just like only Baby Back ribs do.... This is the only place that knows how to make BIG RIBS FALL OFF THE BONES 5 STAR RIBS Pamela Dowell-Hall read more

NOT as good as it is to be. Chicken was tough and chewy.. either sitting or was in a frozen State prior to cooking . He used to be extremely tender and the chickens used to be larger as well . Everything else seems to me the same . read more

This place is beyond awesome. I moved to Florida about 5 years ago. Since then, I've been searching for a good BBQ place. Usually what you find is good meat or good sauce. But good BBQ is about the marriage of these two components. I as skeptical when I got a large pulled pork BBQ and a side of sauce (on the side in case the sauce was garbage). To my surprise, both were so good my eyes rolled back as I ate that sandwich in only a few minutes. I'm beyond happy to have found this place and will absolutely be back. read more

Silly's has been a family favorite since my father in law was young. We love it, best barbecue if you want real tender smoked meat with homemade country sauces a real southern meal. Slaw and collard greens the best. Do not pass up sullys, definitely worth a stop!!! read more

Sullys has the best ribs anywhere in Central Florida. Don't wast your time looking at other places, this is the real deal. Ribs are always fall off the bone tender and are really smoked, not boiled and broiled. The pulled pork is mighty fine too !! The cole slaw is the bomb. Sullys is a small place kind of off the beaten path, but if you make the trip you will thank me. A Florida gem. read more

Delicious and they are so friendly. Best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had. So good I forgot to take a picture.

Very good barbque. We especially like the chicken barbque. Assume! My only complaint is there hours. They are only open a few day a week. We live a short golf cart ride away and wish I could satisfy my craving when I need to. Don't go late ! read more

Sully's is a must-stop BBQ joint that I would HIGHLY recommend. Not only because I think their meats & sides are top notch, but because the friendly staff and atmosphere are as good as it gets! Stumbled across this place while researching good local BBQ restaurants online while passing through for work, now I go back every opportunity I get. The jumbo pulled pork w/ spicy sauce is my go-to order, accompanied by the best homemade beans and slaw you may every have. Eating some of the best local BBQ on checkered tablecloths over picnic tables while sitting beneath several awesome buck/hog/bass mounts is JUST the experience I want while eating some quality cue! read more

Sully's Smokehouse - Awesome atmosphere @ Sully's - Smokehouse Near Me - Leesburg, Florida

BEST RIBS AND COLE SLAW EVER EATEN!!! I was craving some real down home, authentic, no frills southern ribs and found exactly what I was looking for at Sully's. I ordered baked beans, cole slaw and ribs. I was debating about what side to order and the lady suggested their slaw. She said it was one of their specialties. That is no doubt the truth. As I am writing this review, I am craving their cole slaw. It is really tasty, has raisins which sounds weird, but mixed with the sauce and slaw - the tastes came together amazing. This was actually the best cole slaw I have ever eaten. The baked beans were good too, but not enough to rant about like the slaw and ribs. I will def order the baked beans next time I go bc I can't eat ribs without baked beans. But the ribs and slaw were beyond amazing. Now the ribs - they were true fall-off-the-bone southern ribs that almost melted in your mouth. Excellent flavor, tenderness, not a single bite was tough or hard. The meat fell off as I was picking up each rib. They were cooked to perfection. Excellent service too. The lady who worked at the counter gave me a free side of the stew to try. It was really good too, but I can't stress enough that the ribs and slaw were the best I have ever eaten. The lady and young man behind the counter were very fast, friendly and excellent. She was so good, I asked if she was the owner! She said she wasn't the owner, but had worked their for many years. They both clearly took pride in their work and the restaurant displayed many awards they had won. I got the vinegar sauce, it was very tangy, but this is a matter of taste. I took only the vinegar sauce with my food to go. Next time I go, I will eat there and try the other sauces. The patrons seemed like all regulars. Real southern folks who were extremely friendly and hospitable with some nice small talk and jokes while waiting. I am an Indian American from NY, but the locals were exceptionally welcoming. Really loved this place! read more

We have been picking up dinner here for years. Amazing family and employees, and that's before the food! Absolutely amazing! BBQ is different for everyone but, fall off of the bone ribs and amazing pulled pork....this is where it is at. And don't miss out on the chicken. Small business and local folks. Don't wait too late. They'll sell out; for good reason... read more

OMG, the ribs are wonderful! 1/2 rack is a lot of meat. Our meal, 1/2 rack with 2 sides was more than we could eat. You can pull the bones out of the meat. It's that tender! We did take home a full rack for dinner tomorrow. Can't wait to go back and try the pulled pork. read more

Amazing BBQ. Great people running the joint. Best spicy bbq sauce around! Pulled pork, chicken and ribs, can't say enough good things.

High reviews must be written by friends or family or just by people who are clueless to good BBQ. Ive had Sullys BBQ several times thinking maybe I had just gotten a bad batch. Their BBQ is boiled before hitting the smoker. If you like parboiled meats then I guess this is your place. The ribs are water logged and not much taste unless you smother them in BBQ sauce. I don't see how these guys get over one star for parboiled meat. read more

Well we ate here again!! My only complaint that it is cash only, and if you are anything like me, I hardly ever have cash onhand. My wife had the 1/2 chicken meal, which she enjoyed! I stuck with old faithful the jumbo pulled pork sandwich. Try this place it is a small family run business , you won't be dissappointed! read more

We stopped by on our way from Crystal River to New Smyrna Beach to treat my sister-in-law to the BEST smoked food on the planet. She is from Wyoming and agreed that the fall-off-the-bone ribs and the homemade sauces were indeed the best she had ever had. We now will drive 2.5 hours round-trip from NSB to eat at Sully's. We could not finish the generous portions so we have lunch for tomorrow :) When you see Trent be sure to mention you found him on Trip Advisor. Call ahead to place your order to be sure they don't run out of your favorite read more

Incredible food, awesome people. I think it is the best smokehouse I've been in, and I'll be going back!

We've eaten at Sully's several times since we discovered this wonderful BBQ restaurant. Ribs, pulled pork, smoked chicken and sides will NEVER disappoint. Meat is always tender and juicy. The different barbecue sauces are all so tasty you won't know which one to choose. Love it so much, we've ordered dinners for more than 100 people for our neighborhood outdoor drive in picnic. People need to feel happy now more than ever! Sully's will ensure your tastebuds will be delighted and your stomach happy. Their food will bring a smile to your face! read more

I have to go to Sully's at least once a week to get my pork wrap fix....with mustard sauce. It is truly awesome....and on rare occasions, might actually make it home. I haven't really tried anything else because I can't bring myself to order anything other than the wrap. The shredded pork is paired with their awesome coleslaw (has raisins, which I think adds the perfect touch) and then your favorite BBQ sauce is applied before they wrap it up and send it on it's way. Thank GOODNESS today is Wednesday and they are open. :) read more

Hot food, great sauces and the best customer service in town. This is a must, when driving through.

I don't know if I should start by talking about the amazing ribs or friendly staff. The people that run this place are the definition of southern hospitality. The service is excellent!
