Just moved to the area and was looking for a late evening breakfast. When I got there it was empty except for the staff who were very welcoming and happy to have us there. By the time we finished our delicious breakfast there were more customers and we were very pleased. read more

I'll start with the positive. The server was extremely nice, and the portions were large. The food was fine, nothing special. One of our group didn't get eggs the way he ordered them. Strike one. They charged an extra "egg surcharge" and did NOT say so upfront and had I seen that before paying, I would have rebuked that fee. How cheapskate can you be? For the price of the food, you can afford the eggs. Strike two. The food took forever to arrive, and it wasn't that busy. I could have gone to the store across the street, bought three times as much food and had it served with a smile in less time. Strike three. I do not plan to return. read more

We went in and the server behind the counter immediately said you can't have dogs in here. My mother said it was a service dog and was asked if she had a letter from her doctor. We informed them that was illegal then the server got really rude and my mother showed her the letter but was so embarrassed we left the restaurant beacuse the server was still rude about the service dog being there, yelling at my mom while everyone stared. read more

Interesting, it had shut down for awhile then never saw many cars in the parking lot . Well went here on Easter Sunday for breakfast , they were packed. Ordered the Smoke house breakfast, specifically said " eggs over medium please, the white has to be full cooked with white toast" The main plate shows up, no toast, I sit for 2 mins and the waitress said to the cook " did you put the toast down?" And no he didn't so I sat and waited patiently five mins, to get. when I cut the white part of my 3 eggs, they were all raw, not cooked. So the waitress, said " I'll have them fixed again." Five mins later no eggs, the bill on the table, I get up to pay and leave. When I told the woman at the cash register I wanted to pay, and she can keep the eggs, she got hostile with me. I said I'm the customer and her reply was she didn't care and told me to get out. Said she would take care of the bill and said " and don't ever come back" The woman obviously needs anger management.... Rude, toxic and unprofessional. We have had breakfast there several times and the food was excellent, it is cooked to order so it is very fresh. I also love the coffee! It is their own brand of which I have bought all their stock I hope they get more! I need to go back asap the pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream was my favorite!!! read more

The Philly cheesesteak omelette was pretty good, very cheesy. Beware of the meat lover's omelette because it is very salty with all it's pork meat. The fruit cup came with honeydew, cantaloupe and a grape. read more

This is my first (and probably last) meal at a huddle house. This one in Inverness is close to a great dog park, so I figured I'd give it a try. I ordered coffee, and the waitress brought the milk in a filthy styrofoam cup (I'll try to post a picture). The rim of the cup was no longer white, but was a dirty brown. The food was ok. But the overall impression I got was that if you think a Waffle House is just too damn fancy, then this is the place for you. read more

Fantastic breakfast food served hot, fast and fresh! The folks here are friendly and helpful, whether it's for locals or those just passing through. I like to was at the counter and have a chat with Miss Jen, she's the cook and the owner, so she wants to make sure you're well fed and happy. The young folks here are friendly, courteous and hard workers. And how could you say no to a hand spun milkshake or a deep fried Oreo? The dinners look tasty and you get a lot for your money. Worse experience ever at a restaurant. We stopped for breakfast at 6:00 am. employee opened the door and was rude right away about us having a fishing boat. Employee told us we couldn't park there and take up the extra spots (no other cars in lot). My friend goes to move the truck by dumpster. Usually restaurants don't want you parking by or blocking dumpster. I asked if there was boat parking? To which he replied "do you see any boat parking dumb***? I told him he wasn't going to talk to me like that that and proceeded to give a lengthy profanity ridden episode. Will never go there again. Horrible read more

This isn't something to drive out of your way for, but if you're near the area and looking for good food at an excellent price, this is a great place to go. They have $5 meal deals all day which you can't beat the price of, but typically breakfast (any time of the day) is my reason for the visit. It's become a weekly stop as you get a large abundance of food for a very fair price. I tend to have left overs for tomorrow's breakfast as well. Plus every time you get a receipt, it takes just a moment to submit a survey and get free mozzarella sticks on your next order (and they are great). Friendly staff, who are quick to take care of you. I did a to go order from here and I have to rave about their excellent communication and service. On the phone, the woman was very personable and thorough. When I arrived, my order was ready to go. How can a place like this not have cash to make change. The girl that took my order went to the back. A different girl brought the food. I'm at the counter and saw the food sitting there getting cold. A different woman brings the check. It's $10 she can't change a $15 so she claims and wants. $5 tip for lousy, greasy eggs, hash browns, bacon and a Pepsi. They can't even serve a real Coke. In what alternate universe is this correct? I'd say go somewhere else, but in this town less than mediocrity is exalted to excellence. read more
