Met there with a large group of friends for dinner, conversation and music...Sat outside, which was the most enjoyable aspect of the evening. The food was not remarkable, it was, I believe, called a beef au jus on a hogey bun...with fries..just so-so, but the service was great, the waiters and waitresses very available and accommodating. The live music was nice, the chairs were very uncomfortable for the couple of hours we were there. I will return however, because I enjoyed the music, the service people and the company I was with. read more

April 2026 - We had 30 members of The Villages Miata MX-5 Club have lunch here and also tour the adjacent Storm Distillery. The service at Pine Street was great and the Shepherds Pie was the best ever of any Irish Pub. The Guinness was also very good. Nice pub! Try it, you'll like it. read more

Food and service is good. But the guy they have doing music on Friday is terrible,Loud with a speaker that sounds like a peanuts teacher.

We are new to this town and we happened to hear live music that sounded good so we stopped by. To say service was poor is an understatement. They completely ignored us and didn't tend to us. They never brought us a menu and we had to bus our own table. This is not a place I will return to. read more

We were looking forward to good Fish n Chips since this is a " Pub". But maybe Irish, not English (?). The Fish n chips were like larger fish sticks. I couldn't separate the breading from the fish, which was hard to locate. Very disappointed. May return to try something else eventually. White visiting for the holiday my girlfriend and I were taken to this great little place with a menu so much more than pub food. I chose a margarita flatbread. It came cut into 10 small squares each topped with a thick slice of tomato, shredded cheese, basil and a balsamic reduction. I've had a lot of these but none better than this. So good it needed no sides. My girlfriend and her son had rubano sandwiches-a Reuben/Cubano combo. Also excellent with steak fries. Melanie, our waitress, was friendly and took care of a small problem with a more than satisfactory result. We'd ask for her again. And for an Irish pub it was cozy and wonderfully crowded. Not many tables but it had an authentic feel. Pub decor. Great bar with plenty of on tap options and even a row of beer mugs with names of regular patrons. This pub fits perfectly in a clean and friendly condensed downtown area. We loved everything about this. If you get the chance it will be well worth your time. read more

First time in Inverness and first time at the Pine Street Pub! What a great little place for some suds and a bite to eat. They have plenty of outside seating and a band was playing on this Friday night. They have plenty of beer to choose from, but it made me sad that an Irish pub did not have any Jameson lying around! My friends and I ate lunch there, and the shepherd's pie was quite good (a little salty), and the Waldorf salad was good. An order for french fries was apparently never put in, and we had to ask what happened to the food. Staff was otherwise nice and professional. Would like to see more Irish items on the menu. I think there were only three meals that were Irish. Everything else was pretty much American fare. read more

The only thing that kept it from obtaining a Five star, it needs an extra air conditioner to help cool the place off. Even though the temperature was running above normal, the a/c, on a good day, can't handle it.. they should invest in a small Mitsubishi split unit to get it cooled off. Great place. We were interested in seeing this Pub and trying the food. They say its an Irish Pub, but looking at the menu there was Flatbread pizza, cobb salad, and burgers for the most part. They had fish and chips, but nothing that screamed Irish. The decor was Irish, but nothing food wise. Pine Street is exactly like every great bar you see in a sitcom. There are regulars who sit down and a drink is immediately placed in front of them and newcomers who very quickly understand why regulars exist. I have been going to Pine Street for over two years now and have never found a bad thing to say. The food is always great, the servers are constantly making us laugh, and the drink selection is very solid. One of the nice things about being in a small town is the existence of fun little bars like this and I am so glad we have PS as part of our neighborhood! read more

Ever since my parents moved to Hernando, FL years ago, we'd always gone to Pine Street Pub when I visited. Since my first visit I've always gotten the chicken bacon ranch flatbread and shared the loaded fries as an appetizer. The food used to be great, but has slowly gone down in quality since. Whether they switched suppliers or the cooks don't put as much effort into the food anymore, I'm not sure. But this is still a fine place to go, especially if you're going to be having a few beers along with dinner. read more

Since Covid disrupted the food supply chain and change of ownership I'm saddened to downgrade my review. I truly try to post positive reviews of places that I think are exceptional as this place had been for so long. But like an old pair of sneakers I'm not comfortable with the new fit. Cozy little pub with a nice neighborhood feel . Menu has diverse offerings with some inventive twists on flatbreads, sandwiched , salads and much more. They have a giant beer selection and nice wines. I had the Pub & Beef Flatbread but it was hard to choose! Think I'll definitely be coming back Update Here in Inverness for "Friday night Thunder" car show and afterwards I stopped by Pine Street pub for a glass of wine. I like that their house wine is decent, Trapiche . But exactly the reason why locals like this place is why I kind of didn't. I've been here about six times so far . The inverness locals, they are here as their gathering place and really if you don't mind sitting here as a solitary single female with no one to talk to you then I guess it's fine. I enjoyed sitting here because there was a really good musician !! Cliff Sanders !! outside tonight however it was not a warm and fuzzy feeling for me inside. The bartenders were polite but basically ignored me and I chose to not order food and went elsewhere. I think it is a real nice place that is best enjoyed with a friend or two. read more

I've been here more than a few times over the years and through 3 owners. I loved that they still are playing the great music of the 1980's when I walked in. I used to have a mug club membership since the place opened, but the new ownership couldn't find my mug (so I didn't renew it yet). The food didn't exist back in the day when I would have given this small, but awesome Irish Pub a five star review. They had some hard to find bottled beer and cider. Now, not as many. The tap choices are almost as awesome as they once were. The food isn't as great as it could be, but they are working out of a 6 x 6 closet kitchen. I really had great times at this location in the past and still see hope for it. I'm not as active in the pub scene as I once was. It seems they do have a nice mug club following though from the number of mugs on the shelf. Maybe mine is still up there hiding somewhere in the back. I liked the Saint Archer Gold and my Hoisin BBQ pork sandwich with crispy house made chips can out fast. It wasn't very sauced up for those who like a clean to eat sandwich. It was light on the hoisin flavor. I never had one before so I guess it was good. The brioche bun and pineapple coleslaw on it made it better than some BBQ pork I've had. It's worth a try. I'll pop on in again later in the year and see if they find my mug. Maybe PSB can earn another star from me. Fear None, Love All, and Eat Well. read more
