We weren't disappointed at all it was a very nice patio (but might I say that the name of the place"riverside" gives you the impression that is actually on the water but it's in a very good area. Very close to town with easy parking. The service was fast and efficient the food was good and for the area I think it was one of the better choices. They have a band set up for the evenings, and lots of room for people to enjoy a cold beer on the summer night.

We arrived and immediately saw the large, well equipped deck and outdoor seating. The tables had umbrellas, and there were outdoor fans. We sat and we're greeted by our server promptly. The menu had all the classic sports bar grub, and a good selection. I chose the blackened grouper sandwich, and my boyfriend had the fish and chips. My sandwich was delicious! A nice bun toasted with blackened grouper, lettuce and tomato (and tartar sauce on the side) and it came with tater tots. My boyfriend said the fish had a nice crunch, and the cole slaw was delicious and sweet. The dog, Saint, loved all of the food, too. Although we don't drink, there was a full bar and drink specials. This restaurant was exactly what we were looking for today, and we are glad we happened up on it!

It is a cool place lots of great local people that are nice and friendly. Just don't think your walking into a newly remodeled modern bar with the rustic theme. This place has its own theme and it is ingrained and spawned from years past. The staff was very friendly and welcomed these (us) outsiders with no hesitation. Some of the off duty staff came in as the night got later and tried starting crap with the bartender. Which she struggled to keep them out from behind the bar. It was not her fault and she did apologize. I would and have stopped in for the classic draft brew passing threw.
