A picture of the perfectly cooked boneless skinless chicken breast

This Beef O Brady's located in Crystal River is a great place to stop and enjoy a meal. Located on the corner in a strip plaza on Gulf to Lake Highway it's easy to find. It has a few tables outside if you prefer outdoor seating on a nice day. Inside it's clean with plenty of booths or tables or you can sit at their bar. Numerous TVs are all along their walls so nobody has to miss a game. Our waitress today was outstanding and gave us time to look over their rather large menu plus she answered our questions professionally. She offered suggestions about appetizers and desserts with knowledge. Our appetizers were their pretzels with queso dip and the spinach and artichoke dip with tortilla chips. Both came out in a reasonable time and were hot and delicious. The pretzels were crispy on the outside and soft in the inside with melted butter brushed all over them and sprinkled with coarse salt. The queso was a perfect dip to go with them. Cheesey goodness with a little bit of chopped peppers and jalapenos - it wasn't spicy at all. I'm not a real big queso lover but theirs was addictive. The spinach and artichoke dip was loaded with both spinach and artichokes and sprinkled with shave parmesan - scrumptious. Served with a plateful of crispy, fresh tortillas I can see why it's a customer favorite. A great start to our meal. My hubby and I both ordered the chicken breast meal. You have several choices of how you want your chicken cooked. Grilled, fried or blackened. It came with two sides of my choosing. I chose it blackened with my sides being southern style green beans with bacon and onion and Beef O Brady's pub chips - home made potato chips fried to a brown and crispy deliciousness. Green beans were also good but just a tad over cooked, I like mine with a bite. The flavor on the other hand was great. The star of the plate was their blackened chicken. Two juicy, perfectly cooked boneless skinless chicken breasts that have lots of flavor without the heat - plentiful even for a big appetite. I ended up taking one home for lunch tomorrow. Beef O Brady's offers specials everyday plus seasonal specials and if you sign up with the customer appreciation you will receive special offers and the occasional freebie sent to your email address. A great place to gather, eat and watch some sports where it doesn't break your budget!

    Kentucky Hot Chicken

Nice place great service clean and looks like there beer is ice cold. We have been here a few times to have burgers and fried pickles. Today after church we when because the wife had a $5 off $25 so I said ok. We said we were going to try the new Kentucky Hot Chicken with potato salad and green beans it was better then expected oh yea garlic bread, my chicken could have cooked a couple more minutes. The wife's chicken was perfectly cooked! Potato salad was not bad and the green beans were some of the best I have had out. The garlic bread needs a little love but was okay. So over all the 3 stars is the best I can do, will keep going back and update with are visits, try it and review it for yourself!

    Lunch portion Mediterranean Salad

WoW! The amazing 2 bartender/waitresses deserve this 5 star review and your business at this casual, local spot! Laura D. and Carol H. are outstanding. Even when other restaurants were sometimes closing one day a week due to staffing shortages, these 2 awesome ladies came to work and worked way extra hard and quadruple time. Their service , smiles and efficiency never faltered. The food is good . A step up from a couple of the other chains around.. I can attest to the Mediterranean Chicken salad- Blackened or grilled strips of fresh chicken and excellent mixed, greens pepper, pepperoncini, olives, feta , tomatoes , cucumbers and I like to add sautéed mushrooms from a different salad on the menu. I always get the lunch portion but they have a dinner portion as well and it is really big. They have specials everyday such as fajitas, burgers and wings specially priced depending on the day. They also have a rewards program which builds up to $$ off next meal etc. a small local restaurant done right.

Food was good. Had to be in the area and made a point to go back for a DUBLINER. Not healthy but good.

I've never had dip that was so under cooked to where I took it to go so I re-heat & make sure the dip was easier to use with the chips. This is the 2nd time I've had issues wity their quality of food even though it was just dip, it's still food. Idk what if I'll ever go again cause a previous week ordered a steak & it was ordered medium & came out extremely rare, yeah it was sent back & it was corrected but if I have to do this everytime I try to go to restaurant why would I go back .

Our waitress was very friendly and explained the menu since we hadn't been there before and pointed out specials available during the week. My husband got the clam chowder soup, my son got wings with sauce on the side. I chose the nachos that came out in a big charcoal can and the waitress lets them dump out on the plate from the bottom of the cab. Neat presentation but felt all the good stuff then ended up at the bottom and you had to dig through. The food was average. I also got the house margarita which was a great price but it watered down fairly quick. Overall, I'd try it again.

Our waitress was super sweet and explained the different seafood boil flavors really well! I also enjoyed the live music they had. I tried the Lobster Mac and Cheese ($21) which looked nothing like the picture online (LOL) and came out a bit too crispy on top for my liking. It made the sauce dry out a lot. However, it was packed with lobster which was awesome! I also tried the Boil with 1 lb of Snow Crab (MP) and 1/2 lb of Shrimp. We got the flavor with butter and old bay, I forget what they called it. The boil was good but not great - the shrimp was super tough, and I wish there was more flavor all around. My friend's boil also came out cold and after sending it back to be reheated, it was still barely warm. Overall, it was an expensive dinner and I was glad I tried it but unsure that I'll be back.

First, on a not so busy night, live music spilling out from the bar area, and No Hostess was able to seat us. We waited over 5 minutes, before a waitress noticed us and went to get someone. We sat near the music, and he was good, we sang along with the 70's & 80's hits as we waited to be waited on. When we finally got a waitress, she was NEW. It was one of her first nights alone, and though she made some errors, we have faith that she'll be fine with time under her belt. We ordered fried Mushrooms and the Ahi nachos, we were not upset by these appetizers, they were delicious, and their ranch dressing is amazing We ordered a Shrimp platter and a Shrimp noul with the spicy butter sauce. There was a LOT of red pepper, but the hubby said it was tasty, byt he kind of expected the butter to be melted vs still chunky. The shrimp i ate,( lightly fried with Onion Rings and a side salad) were HUGE. I mean plump and Juicy. We did find out that they import their scallops from Japan, while being located in a scalloper's area. They were good, but still, eat local when you can. Other than a bit slow, id say that id come back for those sheimp
