It is a cool place lots of great local people that are nice and friendly. Just don't think your walking into a newly remodeled modern bar with the rustic theme. This place has its own theme and it is ingrained and spawned from years past. The staff was very friendly and welcomed these (us) outsiders with no hesitation. Some of the off duty staff came in as the night got later and tried starting crap with the bartender. Which she struggled to keep them out from behind the bar. It was not her fault and she did apologize. I would and have stopped in for the classic draft brew passing threw.

Saw ads for Nikos many times and finally decided to try it. Got there around 5:30 on a Saturday…read morenight and were surprised that literally no one was eating anything inside. Maybe they were outside but we didn't look. We were a little undecided about staying but the bartender/waitress said their food was really good so we stayed. We had cheeseburgers and cheese steaks and they were very good. Fries were also excellent. This is a bar that serves good food not a restaurant that serves alcohol so keep that in mind. Atmosphere is a typical bar. I think there were only high top tables with backless stools so not real comfortable for older folks. That being said, my 4 to 5 stars is really just for the food. It won't be part of our regular rotation of restaurants but we'll go back.
