I ordered fried shrimp, calamari, and oysters. The oysters were hot, but not impressive. I did not get my calamari or the large shrimp. What I got were cold, dried up shrimp that had apparently been under the heating lamps since the Biblical flood. I called immediately to complain and get at my money back for the shrimp and calamari...the manager was busy. I tried calling back two times on the same day as the purchase and got some weird answering machine message. Tried calling back the next day and got the same weird message. I think my number is blocked. When I moved here two years ago, the location on 19th Street must have been under another manager or ownership; back then the food was very good and worth a 4.5 or 5-star rating. This management or owner should be closed down. I would not be surprised if the rating of this location is less than a B.

Now mind you the salads we ordered NEVER did arrive. The new waitress delivered the extra sauce but no butter. After a period of time I had to walk up to the kitchen to get the butter. The waitress intercepted me asking what I needed . I replied , "the butter we asked for the now cold mashed potatoes. She proceeded to microwave the butter and deliver it. Clearly I don't now work in the restaurant business, but an ice cream scooper of hot mashed potatoes with the butter would've been appreciated. When we asked for the bills the waitress had no idea who for the most part had what. We had to go over with her and itemize each item. She proceeded to show us how to pay on a tabletop thing. She got exasperated when we asked for paper bills to go over the items. We've eaten at Cheddars all over the midwest and the food is always delicious and the servers great. This place really sucked. One and done at this location.
