Honestly one of the best meals I've had at Panera! Stopped by on a road trip with a lot more road ahead.... Easy on/ off road access for those traveling. Counter employee, Deborah, was super friendly. Got my usual pic two, but my first cup of autumn squash soup of the season. I honestly should have just gotten a bowl- creamy and delicious. Paired it with my standard chicken frontera sandwich ( half), which I was too full to finish. I've been deferring to the staff to give me either chips or the baguette and have always been given chips, but today was the latter. Rating chain restaurants seems kinda pointless since everybody pretty much know what you're going to get. I figure everybody knows Panera has gotten ridiculously expensive for what it is now, but add on that the jacked up prices for Door Dash delivery ordering (plus $10 tip for driver because I'm not a jackass) and today's experience was pretty outrageous. Half turkey sandwich = $11 and super tiny, but even regular size bread as though you bought a loaf from the grocery store. $11 chicken noodle soup consisted of broth, exactly 1 1/2 noodles, 1 tiny carrot piece and less than 1 tsp shredded chicken Large fountain drink $4.79 and was of course watery regardless but my delivery location is always last while drivers make additional stops along the way. read more

I had a quick and somewhat easy experience here. Got my usually Soup & Salad when I come to Panera. The salad was good and fresh. The soup lacked meat as I ordered the Chicken Noddle soup. As a frequent consumer of Panera's works across many US states, other locations have set the bar high for a location in the middle of a small shopping center in West Virginia. However, it manages to reassure Panera's signature ambience with it's kind staff and welcoming atmosphere. The food does not dissapoint either, as it seems that their formula is precise and food is the same quality no matter where you go (according to staple dishes, such as sandwiches and soups; I myself am not a salad person so I can't speak for those). The only reason I have decided to deduct a star from this review is due to what seems to me to be a lack of cleaning. There was a central table where the sun beams softly through the window that a unidentified stickiness lingered on the table. It was not too much to be considered grotesque, but just enough for an urge to put in motion the action of switch tables. As long as you choose a not sticky table, this is the place to go. read more

Ordered a sandwich and soup. Instead of the baguette, these chips were in my bag. These chips are awful regardless, but when ordering soup the baguette has a always been in the bag. I have never had to specify. I will from now on, just to be sure. Maybe ask which one the customer would like? Ate here twice traveling to and from Ohio. Alexandra waited on us both times. She is so cheerful, helpful and welcoming. The chipotle chicken wrap w/ egg for breakfast is delicious. Love the Hazelnut coffee. For lunch, a pick 2 with a chipotle chicken avocado sandwich and a Greek salad was a nice combo. The bread on the sandwich was extra special. This was my "go-to" for the most amazingly delicious sesame seed bagels. Sadly, corporate decided to change the menu and eliminate the sesame bagels. Poor service is an understatement.I've had good service in the morning, but at 7:20pm on 10/5/23 they were horrible. Plenty of workers, but they just ignored us standing at the counter. We used the app to order take out. The ticket showed the order correctly but what was in the bag wasn't correct. This is not the first time either. Why we still order takeout is beyond me. This Panera is always busy. I use the Rapid pickup service frequently. The orders are filled timely and accurately.

Stopped here for a quick late lunch. Went thru the drive-thru and got two bear claw pastries and a bowl of cheddar broccoli soup. The young lady working the drive-thru was nice and pleasant. She also made sure my order was correct before handing it to me. My soup was delicious. My pastries were kinda hard but it was much later in the day, so they weren't that fresh. But again my soup was hot and tasted fresh even after a trip back to my hotel. No real complaints. Every now and then it's possible to get a not so fresh pastry. I prefer visiting all Panera's earlier in the day when the pastries are first made. read more

we LOVE Panera, but our trip here was less than great! My soup was barely warm and had a film on top of it (like it had been sitting for awhile), my chicken avocado sandwich was VERy fatty and gristly. My husband said his grilled cheese was smaller than normal (like kids size) and the cheese wasn't melted, but his tomato soup was good. But really, it's the poor service that killed this for me. The woman checking us out was crazy abrupt and sharp, like she had no time to be dealing with us. Just not impressive. I think there's a difference based on time of day - daytime service seems fine, but later...? Not so much. I've always had great experiences here. The staff are friendly and professional, the food is fresh, and the prices seem reasonable, especially for the quality of food you're getting. First time eating at a Panera Bread. The service was fast and friendly. My food was thrown together and didn't have much of anything on it for the price I paid. My food didn't taste that good either. I really wanted to like this place. My wife did like her sandwich and salad. My daughter liked her soup. I tried a little bit of everything and it didn't taste good to me. The soup tasted like dirty potatoes and my wife's salad had a weird flavor. The manager did refund me for my sandwich and they took it back. I love Panara....when it's done properly. Tonight I ordered the steak and white cheddar, I love it because of the sweet pickled onion and the savory horseradish. Unfortunately I get regular red onions, very spicy ones. Along with the horseradish, too spicy! Makes me angry, this sandwich was almost 10.00$ If I had known they were out of pickled onion, I would have chosen something else. If this were the first time they made a mistake, it would have been fine, things happen, but this location consistently gets my order wrong, or gets the order right but just throw what ever they have in there instead if following the description of the sandwich or salad (offer get plain red onions on my greek salad instead of the pickled ones. I get carry out from this Panera often. I'm always impressed that the wait at drive-thru is not that long but the food is always fresh. Tomato soup and a large salad or more than enough to fill me up for dinner. Some of the other Panera restaurants sometimes run out of tomato soup or some of the side items. But I've never had that problem with this Panera. All told, this is a good place to get a fresh meal that's nutritious and healthy. There's ample parking and it's easy to get in and out of this place and back on the road. read more

This Panera must be part of the weight watchers chain. The food cost is very high and the employees don't even deserve minimum wage. The portions are very low, as an example I had a BLT and skipped the avocado and the other thing that do not make up a BLT and was charged $8,,,, there were 4 half pieces of bacon on it and 3 small tomato slices , without lettuce, no they could not afford a fourth slice of almost white tomato so they put two on top and then one in the middle at the bottom. Bottom line was the prices were too high for the food quality, quantity and service. POOR Customer service today. Got served with cold soup, which has been sitting on the counter and asked if our order is ready, the kitchen Staff told us, she paged 3x but our pager never lighted. When asked to warm our soup, manager told me to Microwave it under the coffee stand. Coffee is also cold and when I asked for brown sugar, was told that if it is not on the counter, it could be under the cabinets and if it is not there, they are out, essentially, find it yourself. After I spoke with less than accommodating manager, a server came to our table and brought a couple of brown sugar that miraculously appeared. Note to franchise owner..regardless how popular or good your product is but lousy and rude customer service and management, word of mouth will decimate your business. Change now or you will get what other restaurants got..closure!
