The bottom line is that…read morethey offer some good tofu based vegetarian options, which there are not an abundance of in this area. The hours are a little bit limited and I ended up getting brunch from them. The space is small and somewhat receded from the main street so I first drove by without noticing it. The end result was a small but delicious banh mi filled with marinated tofu, for which I appreciate the option to do a little customization on the toppings. They emphasize their house, pickled carrots and daikon. I also got a tea that delivered strongly on flavor. I took some noodles to eat later, and these had apparently the same marinated tofu, which was still good as well as a slight excess of salty sauce. The place has its limitations, but it is a success in offering genuinely Vietnamese and vegetarian cuisine.

We started the evening scouring the menu for tonight's choices and settled on pierogies and falafel for an appetizer. The warm pierogies with potato and cheese filling had the right amount of creamy texture with the perfect crunch. The falafel with tahini and garlic sauce completed the appetizer. I saved some of the tahini sauce to have with the falafel wrap. The pita bread filled with falafel and veggies, accompanied by a side of tahini sauce, was the perfect balance for an evening meal. I noticed quite a few people coming in for dessert, which included the cheesecake. Admittedly, I was too full to enjoy the cheesecake at the restaurant, so I ordered a baklava cheesecake to go. It was amazing! The crunchiness of the sweet baklava paired with the cheesecake is a perfect balance to the tanginess of the cheesecake. The quality of ingredients and flavors used are perfect in every dish. The selection of food choices is hand-selected and crafted to perfection. Phenomenal restaurant! I felt like I was back in the Mediterranean enjoying a great evening meal.
