When I walked into this Five Guys location, I was greeted warmly with "Hello, welcome to Five Guys," which was a great start. My order was taken quickly, and the food was prepared fast and tasted fresh. Most of the staff I encountered were pleasant and professional. Unfortunately, I did have a negative experience with one employee that really stood out. While I was waiting and leaning on a table, a staff member came around spraying and wiping tables nearby. Instead of waiting until I had moved or politely asking me to step aside so he could clean, he started spraying and wiping the very table I was leaning on--without saying "excuse me," "sir, could you move," or offering any kind of courtesy. As a customer, that came across as rude and unprofessional. Simple communication and respect go a long way, and in this case, there was none. Even after I moved and looked at him, he didn't acknowledge me or offer any apology. It left me feeling as though the action was dismissive, if not deliberately disrespectful. To be clear, the rest of the team did a good job and the food itself was up to Five Guys standards. But this one interaction left a negative impression on my visit. I hope management will address this so that all customers are treated with the same level of courtesy and respect that's expected in customer service. read more

So. I ordered a small cheeseburger with, well look at the pic of receipt. You would think that anyone that works here would have the ability, and the pride, to be able to make a simple cheeseburger with the "All" the indicated ingredients! BUT NO! One of the best Cheeseburgers I've ever had fresh cooked well‼ I had the Cajun fries delicious a little too salty tho. Order one order of fries enough to share with 2 great portions. This is a great burger franchise. They do more of a smash burger style burger which I love. Has a crispy crust to each burger, cooked on a flat top grill. They give massive servings of fries and then add more to your bag to top it off. All the fries are fresh cut potatoes from Idaho so they are never frozen. Milkshakes are awesome too. Not the place to eat low calorie but great tasting. All meals are served in a bag if you want it to go it's the same as grabbing a chair to eat. It's not a cheap burger place but the food quality is high so it's worth it. read more

Food: Good burgers, cooked fresh in front of you, with many customizable toppings. I almost always get the Cheeseburger or Bacon Cheeseburger with everything. I also recommend the Cajun fries. By the way, when you order fries, they fill up the cup, then dump a bunch of extra fries in the bag! *Homer Simpson gurgling sound* ...and even though they do not have a gluten-free bun, they at least accommodate my wife by serving it in a little tray. Service: Decent. A bit of a longer wait vs. fast food of course. Price: A bit pricier compared to more mediocre fast food options. Definitely not enough to deter me from this higher quality option though. Atmosphere: Fair. We usually order to-go. There are no booths, but there are a few decent outdoor tables. I do like the tons of free peanuts though. I am a little worried about this place's future at this location, because it seems like the crowds are growing smaller, and the Huntington location already closed. This Five Guys is a great location. Service is prompt and friendly (Sunshine is always super nice!). Their burgers are like what I would make if I wanted to go through the trouble of making a homemade burger (and smelling up my house in the process), so to me it's worth paying a couple more dollars compared to McDonalds. The best place around to get a really good fresh burger. The price is a little high when comparing it to Wendy's, McDonalds, or Fat Patty's but they can't touch 5Guys. I love a number of their toppings and the fact that this location is close to the interstate makes it easier to stop in and grab a bite. No other place in the valley can compare to this 5Guys and I would not waste my time with Fat Patty's frozen garbage burgers, McDonalds' poor excuse for "meat", or Wendy's. Five Guys in my opinion locally is one of the Best Hamburgers you can find and mix it with fresh cut potatoes and it makes for a delicious meal! The fries are even better when you get a side of Cajun and sprinkle it over your fries in the bag and shake it up! If you're ordering a regular size order of fries just order a small because they stuff the cup full and then dump extra in the bag! We get a large and feed the whole family! Was staying at the TA so I wanted to try Five Guys got 2 Bacon Cheeseburgers oh my gosh they were so good hubby and I really enjoyed them. Was reading the history of Five Guys and was amazed to learn that it got its name because it takes the weekly salary of five guys to purchase a bacon double cheeseburger. The burgers aren't bad. I think the grease soaked bag of french fries is the highlight of the meal. You can wash it down with a soda from the futuristic machine that lets you add, mix and ruin your favorite soft drink. I highly suggest a Caffeine Free Diet Vanilla Lime Mr. Pibb or a Sobe water with a hint of Hi-C Mulberry. read more

Worst five guys I have been to and I have been to at least 50 other locations. Burgers are OK but why does the Teays Valley location cheat us on fries? I travel all over the country for work so, if I want five guys I will wait until I get to another location. Went to McDonalds the other day which is right beside five guys. Don't particularly like micky's but, don't like being cheated out of the fries either. If you have never been to another five guys, you won't know the difference but if you have, you won't like the way they cheat you.
