My wife and I stopped by passing through on our way back home. We read the reviews and hoped for the best. When we arrived we were seated within a minute. We placed our drink order and food came out within 10-15 minutes. I ordered the Honey Jalapeño Burger, which was just the right amount of spice. Not too hot to enjoy the flavor, but enough to taste the spice. My wife ordered the Classic Club, which she seemed to enjoy as well. The onion rings were great and the sweet potato waffle fries were even better. The price was reasonable too. The restaurant was very family friendly. read more

Standard sports bar set up. Very good service. Very busy for happy hour on a Saturday ! The food is crazy good and the staff really believe in their product. Portions are good and food is high quality. The Reuben is a must if you are a Reuben person ( and I am ) The curds are epic ! But the best part, these people care and are in it for the long haul. We made a reservation three months ago for our annual employee Christmas party. I called today to get menu options only to be told that they didn't have our reservation and that their party area was closed until after the first of the year. Thank goodness I called, or I would have never known this information. They took my name and number when I made the reservation so somebody could have called to let me know. Disappointed! Our server promptly took our order. We got our drinks shortly thereafter. Place was pretty much empty. It took 30 minutes to get our appetizer which came only a few minutes before our meal. So, basically, came with our meals. I had to motion to the bar area where our server was chatting with the other servers to explain to her that my wife's order was incomplete and the appetizer of Bacon Cheese Fries were soggy and too salty!. While I would have preferred the addiction of cucumbers and maybe green peppers to my Greek Salad, there is no denying that this was a generously portioned, fresh meal. One could argue that it's a risky proposition to order from an unknown (to us) spot when traveling down I64, we definitely struck gold. To quote my husband, we now have our "go to" spot as we make the trek to Kentucky. My salad was a huge, delicious meal-smothered in tasty feta cheese-such a pleasant surprise for weary travelers with many miles to go as we headed back to Virginia Beach. The homemade dressing was one more pleasant surprise only surpassed by the friendly, informative staff -super sweet young lady who took my order. Our family found this restaurant on our way into town for a short visit, and decided to stop. Their menu (on Yelp) seemed like it had something for everyone. Parking is limited, but there additional parking next door with a sidewalk to get there. We had 2 adults and 3 teen/tween boys, and we were all happy with everything we ordered - burgers (try the honey jalapeño!), wings, sides, AND desserts - the beignets and molten lava cake were amazing. To top it off, our server was wonderful (she made great recommendations and was very attentive), and we loved the quirky atmosphere. The beer list had something for everyone, including some local options. Plus: a shuffleboard table! The next day when the person we were with recommended we all eat at her favorite local burger place - Bubbarino's - we were all in! The food here is really good. There's a lot to choose from with a variety of hamburgers, pizza, and sandwiches. They also have local IPAs and a good selection of spirits. The staff are always super friendly and very efficient. The desserts are homemade by a local lady and they are so delicious! Very nice staff. Parking is terrible. Waited nearly an hour and a half for appetizers, all in all was there nearly 3 hours. Burgers are good. Jalapeño poppers are good. Salads are good, but you have to really make sure they understand if you want them to hold a topping on salads or sandwiches. Boneless wings are pre frozen processed chicken, not breast, not fresh, and over priced for the quality. Same quality as McDonald's nuggets. May go back, but probably not. read more
