It's a pretty good alternative form the typical fast food in the area, but it's extremely overpriced.

Panera is my favorite place to eat, each time I go in I see Skylar Elliot and Sarah Cox and they are so kind and attentive...yesterday I came in and ordered online though the drive though and skylar greeted me so kindly and worked quickly and efficiently to get my order out to me...tonight I went in to grab my online order due at 6:15. I arrived at 6:18 for broccoli cheddar and a brownie. My order hadn't been started yet, I spoke with Danielle asking for my pickup order and she met me with a very rude tone and then proceeded to walk away and ignore my presence while starting another order and not telling anyone else what i was waiting on. I the went to the cashier Lara who also was extremely rude to me, she got my order which was incorrect and didn't include utensils as i had requested in the app. My frozen coffee wasn't blended It was just iced coffee and my baguette was extremely stale I then didn't get out until 6:30 when I ordered online because I was in a rush...Lara proceeded to give me a dirty look on my way out when I had told her to have a nice night. These workers made my already bad day much worse and I believe they should take a few notes from Skylar and Sarah. read more

Specifically asked if they had potato soup and was told they did. I placed my order and sat in the drive thru for nearly ten minutes only for the girl to tell me that they didn't have any. I guess her time is more valuable than mine and that she was too lazy to actually check when I SPECIFICALLY ASKED HER! read more

I never have an issue with service and food quality in the dining room. However, we order 4-6 times per month in the drive-thru ever since they opened and they have never once had the order correct. Usually, their only response is to remake the food and give a cookie. All I want is to get home and have the right food to begin with not have to go back to get the missing items. read more

My wife and I went in there a couple weeks ago now and got a couple things on our way to work. She got a chai tea latte that was over 1/3 foam and I got a breakfast sandwich that I almost thought was a joke at first. It was a half a piece of a small slice of bread with an egg overflowing the edges and a small piece of ham that had been folded over and didn't even fill the sandwich. I actually took photos to include, i was that surprised by what i had received. We were already on the road or I would have spoken to management immediately. Instead I tried to contact them using their online form. I received a response from corporate that this was a franchisee location and my comment was forwarded to them. I have never gotten a response from the owner/manager of this franchise. I can not speak for this locations lunch service but I do not recommend them for breakfast. read more

Waited 20 minutes to receive two meals. The turkey sandwich I ordered was served with no turkey. My friends panini was served with the paper still on the cheese and melted so you could barley tell it was there until she took a big bite. Have been waiting 15 additional minutes for a new one to be made still haven't gotten it. read more

I stopped eating Panera at this location. It's a bunch of high school who could careless. They are somewhat rude and act well like teenagers. My food is always skimped in and half a*. The Charleston location is great. read more

Update! My wife wanted to go to Panera Bread this past Sunday for lunch, of course I was not too thrilled seeing as how I've given this place many chances and I kid you not, I have not been here one single time without my order being screwed up, BUT guess what!? We went Sunday and low and behold you guessed it, I got my order and it was screwed up. Not to mention it was $24.00 and we both left still hungry. Ohhh don't wait!! There's more, so the company I work for decided to purchase Panera Bread for lunch at work this week, so I'm thinking to myself, I really hate that place but hey, it's a free (expensive lunch) so I can't complain. Wrong. I'll have to say everything looked good, soup tasted good, macoroni and cheese tasted good, too good to be true right!? Yep. I open my bag that's labeled BACON turkey bravo, and you guessed it. No damn bacon on my sandwich. Does this place just hate me or what? What did I do to Panera to deserve such terrible service. So I'm not exaggerating when I say I've been here 10+ times and EVERY single time, I promise you, EVERY single time my order is jacked up. I hope this business ultimately fails. Check your to go orders...3rd time they have forgotten to give our family what we ordered. Left cookies off. Left soup off etc. What a great way to increase profits. Charge people for food and not give it to them. Poor management and/or training. Wouldn't be posting if it wasn't a continuous problem. read more

This is a newer location off the interstate. I've been here for breakfast and lunch and I've been impressed both times. The staff has gotten a lot better since they opened and the quality of the food has improved as well. I've utilized Pay and their mobile ordering without any issues (or groans from the staff). The overall facility is very nice and well maintained, and the layout is rather nice. They even have a small bench to sit while waiting on your order (take out) and the location of the beverages/supplies is pretty handy. I will definetly come back to the location and I recommend that you do as well. read more

For a Sunday morning after a Church gathering, one would think the staff would stay on top of the coffee containers and creamers would keep full, knowing they would be getting a crowd. Not so this morning. Was mentioned to the staff of needing to fill and it still took time to get a refill. The Spinach Mushroom & Sofrito Souffles was not fully cooked in the middle. The crust is more of a Crescent roll crust instead of a Pastry crust. Not sure if the ingredients of the crust had changed from a year ago. The flavor is still tasty, just not fully cooked in the middle. The service is still not up to par. I'll stop in a couple months to see if there is any improvements. read more

I have always been a fan of Panera Bread. I'm a big salad enthusiast and we always enjoy weekend morning coffee. That being said, I gave this location multiple tries as it is close to my home. There has been an issue or multiple issues with every visit which are just unacceptable. Several breakfast visits they had little or no bagels prepared, old or empty coffee, no creamers, etc.. The salads I've tried were barely mediocre with wilted lettuce and bland tasting chicken. The staff what little there is of it is inattentive and untrained. I hope they can improve as I do really like the franchise but this particular location has a long way to go. read more

Very disappointed with this Panera. Ordered a turkey, Apple, cheddar sandwich which once I got home twenty minutes later discovered it hadn't come with turkey.... Just a sad slice of cheese and two thin slices of Apple that barely covered the sandwich. I go to open my French onion soup and it's more that 3/4 of the way filled with onions and very little broth. My mother and I frequent this Panera Bread quite often and they've only really disappointed me once. I always got the Chicken Soba Noodle Bowl and i went to order it one time and no one bothered to tell me that they no longer had it on the menu. Because of them not telling me, I didn' t bother to check the bag until we got home. Low and behold they gave me a quinoa bowl instead and it was disgusting. I was rather displeased. But thats the only bad experience Ive had. Everything else has always been delicious and their staff is always very friendly and helpful. read more

Soccer score from the Alabama Department of Health and walked out they could use a major clean-up. The other locations are very clean and their scores reflected the cleanliness of our staff reflects it that you can smell whatever they're cooking it always smells nice in the other locations this location it doesn't smell too good they may need to shut down and revamp. read more

A few weeks ago, I visit this Panera and ask the cashier for a toasted bagel with cream cheese for dine in. The cashier then proceeds to ask me if I want the bagel toasted, do I need cream cheese, for here or to go? So, immediately, I suspect I'm in the presence of someone with poor listening skills. I basically repeat my entire order and find a seat. When I return to the counter to pick up my order, he hands me a paper bag with a toasted bagel - no cream cheese. I ask for cream cheese, as well as a saucer since I'm dining in, and he's totally blindsided. "You're not taking this to go?" he asks. He gives me a saucer and cream cheese, and I have to ask for a knife because none are available anywhere else, as well as napkins. Overall, the bagel tasted okay but considering the work I put into getting it, I expected a lot more. Experiences like this can easily be avoided if the cashiers taking your order can try to listen more carefully to what the customer is saying vs what information the computer in front of them is asking for next. read more
