We have ate here many times but after today we won't be going back. I got my order saw they had put mustard on my sandwich. I immediately took it back the cashier tried putting the error on me. I said I told you no mustard, the woman (I assume she was a manager) said it comes with mustard. I replied I told him I dont want it, she grabs it and said I'll remake it. Our sandwiches were pitiful. They should call them lettuce subs, the meat was very scarce. They were nothing like we've ever ate there. They normally drop fries when you order but not this time, They weren't hot. Ordered take out and watched as they prepared it and was shocked at the lack of awareness of basic cleanliness. I watched as two people who were preparing food both took their cell phones out of their back pockets and checked messages while they were handling food! The phone is touching your face and less than an inch from your mouth--just yuck! I then watched a third employee handle her face/nose before touching a sandwich with unloved hands to wrap it up. Guess I was in shock and didn't say anything but after thinking about it, it went in the trash at home and I ate leftovers. This store also operates in slow motion. My husband and I tried this place for the first time today, ordered to go. I should have known disappointment was coming as soon as I discovered our footlong Italian sub wasn't cut in half. I wasn't there, and he was in a hurry to meet me for lunch. No big deal. We ordered the Italian all the way, but there were barely any toppings on it and the portion of meat was no better than Subway, possibly even smaller. On my half of the sandwich, there was literally two tiny little banana pepper rings. This sandwich was way overpriced, about $4 more than the equivalent sandwich from Subway and honestly not nearly as good. We paid over $24 for 1 ft long sandwich, two small drinks, and one order of french fries. In any case, I tried Penn Station and I won't make the same mistake again. read more

First let me say my expectations are not the highest when it comes to fast food, but WOW...... Let's start with the 2 large cheesesteaks , you must pay for the bread because the 1/4 cup of toppings that were on them surely did not impress with this I've seen better fries reheated in a microwave .We'll move on to the 2 wraps , you guessed it bare minimum toppings except for lettuce I'll give credit where credit is due , crunchy edges and flavorless. I don't know where in this it added up to 55$ maybe a tip was automatically added, but this was the one and only time I'll contribute to this companies holdings. I'm only giving it 2 stars because an employee wished us a good day and stay safe . Please don't ask why I didn't address it while we were there...... we all know why don't we!!!! read more

Okay, I wanted to try a Penn Station because I am missing Jersey Mike's Subs in Nashville and I am trying to find something remotely as GREAT as they were...and so far....FAIL..... But the food was okay, nothing to really brag about. I got 2 subs, a 8 inch Italian and 8 inch Steak and Cheese to take home and share with Tony for dinner. Both were toasted and not bad but the guy went a little haywire with the brown mustard on the Philly Steak sandwich..so I was eating more of a mustard sandwich than meat sandwich.. So out of the two, my favorite was the Italian. I went on a Friday evening around 6pm so they were slammed and I had to wait like 20 minutes for my food after I ordered...so I wasn't pleased about that so I recommend calling your order in before you get there..If and when I eat here again, that is what I would do. the food is great, but i can't get past how horrible their customer service is at this location! i've been multiple times, because it's just a few miles from my house.. but i dread walking inside every time because the employees are rude. everytime i've been, they have cut me off while giving my order, rolled their eyes, and even loudly sighed. my fries were crispy and fresh. my sandwich was also good, but their drink machine was malfunctioning and there wasn't a sign up. i originally wanted flavored water, but it came out completely clear. so, i poured the drink out and got dr. pepper. it looked fine, so i didn't taste it until i got back to my car. it was like alcohol. HORRIBLE! i'm not sure when i'll be going back. the food is not worth it :/ read more

Workers are great! However they just made some changes to their bread sizes and the bread itself. More options are always better for the customer, they used to have 4" (kids) 6" (standard size anywhere you go) 8" 10" and 12"(also standard) they literally got rid of their 6" and made it a 5", what kind of nonsense is that? You're going to remove a size of sub that has been around since the beginning of time and one that is very common? Terrible strategy, and they got rid of my 10" it was their most popular size and it was perfect for those who didn't want a full 12" sub. Also, they changed the recipe on their white bread and it is much harder than the previous bread, the previous white bread was very soft. So I guess the only pro is they added multigrain bread also which literally no one cares about. read more

Stopped on a roadie from North Carolina to Wisco. After too much Carolina 'Que I was hankering for hogie and W. Virginia was right on time. Like Mark who posted earlier, I also found the "Ployees" chatty and a little disorganized. At one point the woman behind the counter, speaking about another employee, said to us " if you don't watch her she'll spin herself 'round in a circle". Loved it! Had the Italian Sub, was pretty dec', fries were alright (hand cut--nice!) but they were not as hot as they could have been. Keester don't dig on pickles so can't comment on those. All round, good stop for a road trip. read more

After letting them know we had been overcharged for a sub (ordered a 6in but was charged for a 10in) they took back part of the sub. While they were getting our change someone else had brought out the sub. I have never been somewhere where they will take back part of your food..especially barehanded. We weren't angry or upset about the overcharge Just wanted to let them know. Also, there was a long haired blonde girl who not only didn't have a hair net on but her hair wasn't up in a ponytail and she was flinging her hair around by the food. And not one person wore gloves the entire time. I will definitely be going to subway instead of a Penn station. read more

This Penn Station used to be really good and even won awards in this area, but that has changed drastically the last few months. The food has gone down in quality rapidly. The meats on subs do not taste fully cooked. The seasoning and sauces appear to be less than what they once were. The recipe tastes different too. The bread is not cooked as well. I would not suggest going there in 2015 or beyond until they get their act together. I used to eat there all the time, but the quality has declined. read more

retired military soldier from forthood texas and new to area. first time eating here and food was good service was lousy. Said happy newyear to some and not others. Tina the manager was very good about apologizing about her crappy employees and i do believe she wanted to make things right. Iam giving it another try and i will write a new review to see if service is better. Food can be great but for three subs and a small drink costs almost $50 its not worth crappy service.
