I'm reviewing the chicken sandwich and not so much Panera, because it's an above average chain that charges your first born for a pick two. Now that I've expressed that here is my evaluation. Chicken Sandwich If I had to rate this sandwich against all of the chain restaurants ide say it's par but not above board for the $18 the combo cost me. If I had to give a critique ide say the bun was the best part but the grilled chicken sandwich was solid given it was grilled, but it's not as good as Chick Fil A. It's forgettable but not bad. 5/10 BBQ Salad They always have good salads, but jts a salad. 7/10 read more

It's winter time. Put the fireplace on. I don't think there's been a time when I've come here, and there hasn't been a mistake on my order. They are constantly out of stock of items on the menu. You can't use a gift card on the app. I could go on and on. Way overpriced. The iced tea is never fresh. They start cleaning around you before closing. read more

I like Panera because it's cheap, fresh food on the go. I don't actually like their bakery, but I love soup and they always have good soup. Their salads are nice too. If you want a salad I would recommend a half salad because the full ones are huge. The food was satisfactory as usual. I got the turkey chili. I would say a good Panera is 4 stars. I'm rating this particular location 3 stars because there's some room for improvement. The cashiers were not knowledgeable about the menu so they had to go ask the kitchen staff questions. Also, the bathroom was unclean and had broken equipment. I will be back here in the future and I hope they improve a bit. For now, I will enjoy my soup. read more

The outside area is never clean, even thought there is a hose outlet on the wall. One morning there was no caffeine free coffee - no where. And this is a coffee shop. Last straw was while we were having our coffee klatch, a worker walked all around the area wiping down the wooden railing. We moved twice due to the small, then finally left. Not feeling it anymore Panera. I used to look forward to my visits. Now, they happen simply out of necessity. Bagels, salads, and coffee, still rank, but the menu overall is getting old in my opinion. The quality of the food, and it's appearance, seems to be lacking pizzazz. Overall, I always found my visits to Panera to be a great place for a quick bite. Dining area is comfortable , staff is prompt with food preparations, and prices are reasonable. I like the Panera reward offers, but seldom do I find myself craving anything listed on the menu board. Today's experience was less than ideal when I found a hair in my food, but it was addressed properly by management, and would not be the reason I find myself drifting away. Perhaps with some tweaking, I will discover a more appealing seasonal menu in the months to come. The old standby options are not doing it for me. read more

they asked me to leave after i stacked 11 cinnamon crunch bagels on my male appendage. i thought this was america.

The new menu is horrible ! Why change a good thing?! My wife and I ended up getting a sandwich and a salad. The total bill for the two items was $30! That's insane ! The bbq chicken sandwich was mediocre and my wife's salad was nothing special. It looks like bowls and flatbread pizza replaced a number of the old menu items. Panera isn't the place I would go to have a pizza. Bad move Panera! read more

Stoped for a coffee and bear claw and wanted to sit outside to get some air. There was two people smoking and smoking up a storm. Another guest asked the clerks if that was allowed because it was bothering them. They said smoking was allowed at the outside tables. That sucks. read more

Disgusting place. Tables needed to be wiped off, floors are coated with crumbs, dirt and garbage.... don't tell me this is the best they can do during the covid crisis! The only reason I gave 2 stars was because the pink ribbon bagels were great. The coffee was cold and bitter. What the hell.... so disappointed. Food was okay. Grilled cheese wasn't even melted. We automatically got chips with our sandwiches, when we would have made a different choice. While waiting for our food, my young child dropped his cup of iced tea on the tile floor. I immediately grabbed a block of napkins and started mopping, which did little to help. An employee and several customers walked by and ignored me. I asked an employee if they had mop or towels i might use to clean it up, since I didn't want anyone to slip. Oh gee, I don't know? She says. Resumes making food. The handful of customers walk around the spill. A few minutes pass. I ask again, at least for a wet floor sign. Oh gee, i don't know? I think the kitchen staff will handle it? This is while are probably 10 customers total, half of whom were sitting and eating. My kid is crying that he wants another drink. I tell him no. 10 minutes of being ignored is enough and we leave. My iced tea tasted sour, unlike the hibiscus tea at other Paneras. Fail. read more

Needing a quick lunch after running around all day I decided to stop here. I was lucky to have stopped at the time I did because there was virtually no one in here making for quick service. It didn't take long from the time that I ordered to the time that I received my food. That is the thing that didn't make me happy here. I had ordered the mac n cheese and broccoli cheddar soup. However both of them seemed watered down. Although I hate the baguette it was necessary for this meal. It was able to sop up all that watery mess. The saving grace of this meal was the lemonade. This is one of the few Panera breads that have new england clam chowder which is part of my same order of the pick two special. Come to find out, certain locations have them available only on Friays! the location is clean, plenty of parking, fast and efficient. As most PBs, there is free wifi, so this is a great spot if you wanted to eat and get some work done. One option they don't offer much anymore (unless you ask) if getting an apple with your meal instead of a banquette. I ordered some bagels yesterday via the website to pickup curbside. The website showed many selections out of stock so I selected a half a dozen of the one that was showing available. Almost 2 hrs later I drove out to pickup my order and I received a text to put my hazards on and that my order would be out shortly. I was greeted by a nice young lady who regretted to have to tell me they couldn't fulfill my order because they were out of stock of the item I ordered. I understand supply shortages and I understand being understaffed but you can't tell me that someone within the 2 hours period couldn't have had the decency to call/ email/ text ( all forms of communication I gave them) to let me know my order couldn't be fulfilled? I wasted my time and gas money driving out there for nothing. Please invest in a better online inventory system so your employees don't have waste time with stuff like this and customers don't feel robbed of their time and energy. read more

I rarely eat here due to the ridiculous prices but when I do I can always count on my order being made incorrectly. The last four visits it's taken 2-3 attempts for them to make my sandwich correctly. It shouldn't be that difficult to read what to add and what bread to swap out. I especially enjoy this Panera location. The staff here is über friendly and patient, especially if you're not sure what you're in the mood for that day. Besides the variety of breads and bagels that I enjoy, the sierra turkey is a favorite of mine. Also, this is probably one of the best lunch options in the area. read more

As I was ordering, the girl at the register (who was presumably orienting a new hire) noticed a man and a young boy come in and the girl turned to her orientee and said "I hate kids. Because they make a huge mess and there will be crumbs everywhere. Kids are the worst at this job." She actually said that in front of me... it was appalling. The other team members behind the counter were using foul language loud enough that the customers could clearly hear it. This Panera's management clearly does not effectively encourage teamwork or a positive work ethic with floor staff. I Understand that you can't control everything, but the staff should at least have the decency not to be profanely complaining in front of other customers. read more

This is something that Irwin desperately needed. In a town that had almost nothing but fast food restaurants and chain sit down restaurants, it was so exciting to see a place like this open. After trying unsuccessfully several times to order online through both my cellphone and my laptop, I proceeded to my nearest store. I wanted a Strawberry poppyseed salad. Online it mentioned that they were out of strawberries. However, the cashier never mentioned that when I ordered. It wasn't until I picked up my to-go order that the guy says, "They DID tell you that we are out of strawberries, right?" NO. I told him about my online experience and that's how I knew. Been going here for years but it's getting harder to continue, as service and quality decline. Love Panera's menu. Go to Panera whenever we travel to other areas, and the quality and service are consistently good. This location is managing to botch the concept. Orders are prepared incorrectly on a regular basis. Menu items are frequently unavailable, although the cashier will take your order and you'll discover at the pickup area (after you've paid) that you can't get what you ordered. And for this........the corporation is encouraging you to leave a tip before you receive that order. Something is seriously wrong at this location. read more

We used the Panera app to purchase a rapid pick-up order. It was really user friendly and simple enough to navigate and pay. However, when we picked up the order, our items were smashed in the bag, the baguettes looked like they had been tossed in as an afterthought. They were just rolling around in there. A sandwich that had avocado wasn't wrapped well so the sandwich was falling apart and the avocado was turning brown pretty quickly. The pastries were in a box, but one of the cookies was in its own bag and it was thrown on top of a brownie. The bag the cookie was in was covered with icing from the brownie. Ugh. The order was correct at least, but it was a mess and food was everywhere. I really like the app, I just hope they work out the execution. read more

Oh, Panera Bread. What has happened to you? This Panera Bread used to be the ideal breakfast, lunch, and dinner spot due to its location and atmosphere. After going to this establishment for several years, I have completely boycotted this location. I could fill a novel describing all of the times my order has been incorrectly given to me, something was forgotten, or the food was severely inadequate. The bagels are never sliced properly, the avocado is almost always hard and frozen, and they are always out of bread bowls.They once gave me a sandwich that was the butt of the loaf. $4 for a sandwich that wasn't much bigger than a quarter. I once ordered a hot chocolate that turned out to just be a cup of warm milk. The list goes on and on... And why did they add an option to give a tip for your meal? No one is serving you, the food is overpriced, and the employees are average. This company is too greedy for a little suburban town. Save yourself the stress and never go to this location. read more
