We have not visited this Panera for quite sometime, this recent visit was for 2 Bagels and Cream Cheese Spread via the drive-thru. The staff member was very proficient and friendly. Service was quick, no complaints! Note they were out of Everything Bagels ! What is puzzling is the charge for the Cream Cheese Spreads, you would think if you purchase a bagel it would come with at least one of the cream cheese spreads as an option however, three of these little containers was $5.10, would you not say that is a little excessive in cost? A friend and I met here for lunch recently. As a long-time customer, I was aware that the quality of Panera's food has declined over the years, as well as the customer service. Yesterday was no exception. We each bought the new item Ranch Parm BLT Salad. What a disappointment. All I can say is "underwhelming"! I was really bummed that I hadn't stuck with my usual Strawberry Poppyseed Salad. In addition, although there were several tables available, all of them were dirty. There was NO ONE in the hour and a half we spent there seen wiping tables or tidying up the dining room, during the lunch rush! I mentioned this to an employee, who gave the impression she would have rather not been bothered! The carpet was dirty, and the cleanliness of the bathrooms left a lot to be desired. Please bring back my "old" Panera. This place has lost its' charm for sure! On a positive note, the new Strawberry Basil Lemonade Fresca saved the day! Absolutely love this refreshing drink and from now on I will just swing through the drive-thru to get my "lemonade fix"!! read more

Do better, Panera. I spent $14 on a drink and a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup. Very disappointed to open my container of soup once I got home to see how much is missing. I worked for Panera Bread for many years prior and never did this to the customers. When you're paying for an expensive dinner, you would expect to get the correct amount.. that is a lot missing. I'm very disappointed. I spoke with the GM, he did mention giving me something free for next time, all though I appreciate the offer, I will not be asking. Please fill up the soup! Havent been to Panera for awhile . took my grand-daughters there for lunch . I ordered a small Cobb salad . iIt was pitiful! 1 grape tomato , maybe 1-2 ounces of turkey , couldn't identify the ham , 1/4 avocado ( good) and a cup of greens , All for $9.11! Never again . My grand- daughter ordered a " bowl" of cheddar broccali soup , and it looked no more than a cup of soup . way too expensive for the quantity and quality!!! Panera bread is simple delicious and create it live their seasonal menus specially their combination pick two plus the rewards cards you can get free stuff. Love their coffee and their chair and couch are comfortable, perfect to hangout with friends. Parking available and it's location is nearby route 30 you don't have to many turns and turns. Usually live Panera, todays visit was a disaster. Tried to order 2 coffees snd no one took our order. Had to order on self ordering kiosk and wasn't working asked for help and no acknowledged us. Finally was able to order and couldn't understand what clerk was saying. He tried to give us plastic cup for coffee and then finally got coffee cups. Panera Bread restaurants are all pretty much alike and that's a good thing. Their food is fresh, tasty and appropriately priced. They have seasonal special items and I look forward to each season change. My go to is a pick 2 (who can pick just 1...not me). You get two generous half portions of their soup, sandwiches and salads, plus a side. A few of my favorites are the Fuji Apple Chicken Salad, the Autumn Squash soup with a sprinkling of pepitas (shelled pumpkin seeds). In the summer the salads are cool, crisp and are made with so many tasty ingredients. I never LOVED a salad before Panera. read more

I would typically give a Panera 5 stars but this one harbors an employee or two who need to clean up their act. The manager may need to "clean house".... My daughter and I purchased some food items there today. She ordered soup in a bread bowl and there was hardly any soup in it so she nicely asked them to add some soup to it. She was not snotty to them and thought maybe they had overlooked it. The girl behind the counter asked loudly if she was serious, added the soup and then proceeded to laugh hysterically and loudly behind the counter. There is no reason for this attitude and the manager should not allow it. She is lucky I did not drag her dumb hillbilly ass out of the store. The women in front at the counter were very friendly and kind. It is a shame they should have to put up with such fools and it is also a shame as people like us will choose a different place to eat based on all of these unfortunate reviews. I have had nothing but positive experiences at every Panera I have been to. Today however nothing was the same. I ordered the same thing I always do the grilled chicken flatbread. It's so simple and wonderful. Today is a dark day for me after one of my favorite meals was crushed at the hands of one cool chicken. The entire sandwich was hot and fresh until I got a mouthful of the chilly chicken hiding in the middle of my flatbread. The texture was terrible and it was so frustrating I wanted to return the cold cut sandwich I was served. The staff was dealing with a very rude couple already and I did not want to pile on to their already challenging circumstances so all I have is this review. The food is good. The usual Panera bread stuff. The service as far as time to get your meal was fine. The problem was the dining area was filthy. Every free table was dirty and they have a lot of them. They did send someone out to clean the tables when I asked but he used the same rag with out rinsing or anything to wipe off all the tables. The drink dispensing area was also filthy. I noticed now they are soliciting tips when you pay by credit card. I am okay with that but if they want tips they should at least keep the dining area clean! This was the dirtiest Panera bread I have ever been too. Also parking is limited and depending on which space you choose you will get run over by someone using the drive thru. Best advice choose another Panera location or another restaurant. read more

Panera in general can never get orders correct. My last 3 orders have been missing food. I was asked to sign the receipt, I assume because it was over 50 dollars, saying I received the order. When we got home and unpacked, I was missing bagels and a mac'n'cheese meal. My husband picked up food two nights ago and we paid for $12 of drinks but did not get any of them. After the initial screw up, which cost me $18, I was offered a $10 gift card as they can't refund online orders. I took it and was just perturbed. Now after another $12 mix up, I am done. The food is pricey and average. However it is definitely not worth the extra money you blow when they screw up. read more

This is your typical Panera Bread with the standard food choices and free WiFi. The service is fast and friendly. They also have a drive thru, which I don't see very often at Panera Bread locations. That is what makes this a 5 star for me. read more

Obviously Panera bread is amazing, this location however really cheats you out of portions. I've been to other Panera breads, York, Maryland, West Virginia and I've never gotten small portions like I do at the Hanover one. I'm sorry but if I'm paying 8-12 dollars per meal (aka a sandwich ) it should at least fill you up. I know a lot of people don't eat there because they believe it's a waste of money. Don't be stingy.
