Great service. The girls here are amazing and great to talk with. We have been here plenty of times and always walk away with a smile. I can't give the staff here more praises. They are amazing and hardworking. The food is always fast, fresh and hot. They have plenty of options between breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also have daily lunch and dinner specials. You can get breakfast all day long. There soups are homemade. I highly recommend trying their tomato basque or get some to go. Orange. Yolks. Lancaster County Farm Fresh Eggs according to the menu. I don't know what the hens are eating in Lancaster County but it seems to result in eggs with some of the most beautiful deep orange yolks I've ever seen in my life. Think: clementine, blazing sunset, carrot, Home Depot. You get the point. Whatever these hens are doing, whether happily minding their own business or being one peck away from an aptly-colored prison jumpsuit, their eggs are noteworthy. I found myself envying the orange goo dripping from the Benedict and made a mental note to order poached eggs the next chance I get, for a close-up, front row seat inspection of the incredible beginning of what would otherwise become another chicken. Anyway, my WQ omelet was large and in charge. Super tasty with a bit of heat from the sausage or pepper jack and totally delicious. The sourdough is remarkable as well. Perfectly toasted and the whipped butter is rich and satisfying. I tried the hollandaise sauce and, back to the eggs, wow. A delicious blend of egg yolks, butter, and a hint of citrus. Once again I'm thinking about the Eggs Benedict and it wasn't even my meal. I did put some of that hollandaise sauce on my sourdough toast and... Yumm. Yumm. Yummmmm... I have to say, the hens are the stars of this show. Or perhaps the farmers feeding them because... that orange. In a good way... orange. My younger son and I were in town for a local collage baseball camp. He's gluten free and we were happy to find this diner for breakfast. It was a Sunday morning and they had a small wait. I've been here twice and had a good time both times. My second visit was December 2024 but both times with a larger party of 7. My Uncle loves this place and they're def growing on me too. I believe our server was Sierra and she was super sweet, very attentive. The crab meat melt I got was so yummy!! To this day I'm still thinking about it *drools*. I got the fries and onion rings too, and everything was so delicious. I believe the crab melt was $18.99 so not pricey at all for real crab meat! It was a good helping of it to too, they are great for giving large portions you can eat over two days. Great menu variety and it being one of the few (if not only) diners in the area with a liquor license makes it one of the best. The inside looks like a traditional classic Irish-American diner. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu and the servers are always attentive. My server even hooked me up with a free cappuccino refill. The portions are HUGE so one entree typically equals two for me which says a lot as I have quite an appetite. The turkey sausage as an option to substitute is very appreciated as my girlfriend does not eat pork. I got the Lyndon Breakfast Special. The eggs were cooked perfectly to order and I was stuffed after eating less than half (getting my money's worth). I especially liked that it came with 2 different porks sausage and bacon. The sausage links were FAT and delicious, never had sausage so meaty at a diner and I was loving every bite. My girlfriend got the crabmeat benedict and loved it. Little to no filler and her benny craving was satisfied which is all that matters. I like that they also have started offering two new benedicts, the Pork Belly and Pot Roast Benedicts. The uniqueness of the menu really adds to the appeal. Prices were average to slightly above average but it's not just a diner, it's a hang. All in all, great variety, prices, food, service and times. Truly our only regret was saving room for some. With a full bar behind it they also serve Cocktails and Beer so you can have your breakfast and a Bloody Mary. Lots of room for groups of all sizes as this place was bustling mid day New Year's Eve. The staff were very attentive and got us seated quickly. One guest ordered the chili dog because he didn't want something too big and to his surprise he received the biggest chili dog served in what looks like a homemade roll that I have seen in a very long time. I ordered the Irish Breakfast which was also a very good portion. The home fries were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The salads are well done and good sized as well. Nice Diner on Rt 30. Dr room was very well appointed and cleaned lots of tables and booths. It was good just had breakfast! Their sausage were tasty and not fatty, service good Coffee very hot & Strong Wife had French Toast with cinnamon butter & a side of bacon. A solid diner experience. Breakfast is served all day. Lyndon is the place to go if you need to accommodate a large group of people. The service is friendly and there is so much to choose from on the menu (including desserts). I have dined at Lyndon a few times and each time with a large party. Each time our orders were correct and were served piping hot. Lyndon is a staple for us every time we are in the area the prices are great and the staff is friendly. My kid loves going to diners, probably for the reason that some adults do. He loves his sausage and fries and the little crane machine outside. We go on average more than once a month. Depending on what you get your culinary experience will vary. The chicken cheesesteak is very good, the seafood chowder was good, the turkey club as good as it gets. The portions are reasonable. We went to breakfast on a Saturday, around noon. Fairly busy, which is to be expected. Waitress was nice, and checked on us often. Food was good, not great, but good. My issue, and why I gave them a single star lies in one area. They have an egg surcharge of $1.50 per egg, on top of the regular pricing. This was not explained when we were seated, nor when we ordered. It was found on a small 2.5" x 1.5" card that explained there was an egg surcharge of $1.50 per serving ( per egg would have been a better explanation ). Now, this also applies to items using eggs in their making, like Hollandaise sauce. Our bill was tagged an extra $20 just for the surcharge. Not every table had a card, and we didn't notice the card until after we had ordered. I find this to be a deceptive practice, forewarned is forearmed. read more
