Great service. The girls here are amazing and great to talk with. We have been here plenty of times and always walk away with a smile. I can't give the staff here more praises. They are amazing and hardworking. The food is always fast, fresh and hot. They have plenty of options between breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also have daily lunch and dinner specials. You can get breakfast all day long. There soups are homemade. I highly recommend trying their tomato basque or get some to go. If you don't like something your food choice comes with They are happy to substitute or take off. Stop in and try this wonderful diner for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Orange. Yolks. Lancaster County Farm Fresh Eggs according to the menu. I don't know what the hens are eating in Lancaster County but it seems to result in eggs with some of the most beautiful deep orange yolks I've ever seen in my life. Think: clementine, blazing sunset, carrot, Home Depot. You get the point. Whatever these hens are doing, whether happily minding their own business or being one peck away from an aptly-colored prison jumpsuit, their eggs are noteworthy. I found myself envying the orange goo dripping from the Benedict and made a mental note to order poached eggs the next chance I get, for a close-up, front row seat inspection of the incredible beginning of what would otherwise become another chicken. Anyway, my WQ omelet was large and in charge. Super tasty with a bit of heat from the sausage or pepper jack and totally delicious. The sourdough is remarkable as well. Perfectly toasted and the whipped butter is rich and satisfying. I tried the hollandaise sauce and, back to the eggs, wow. A delicious blend of egg yolks, butter, and a hint of citrus. Once again I'm thinking about the Eggs Benedict and it wasn't even my meal. I did put some of that hollandaise sauce on my sourdough toast and... Yumm. Yumm. Yummmmm... I have to say, the hens are the stars of this show. Or perhaps the farmers feeding them because... that orange. In a good way... orange. The next time you see orange, don't think bad orange, think Lancaster County Farm Fresh egg good orange. Rock on Lyndon Diner, proudly serving up Lancaster County Farm Fresh eggs with their fabulous orange yolks.

!!! IT IS CURRENTLY KNOWN THAT THE LYNDON DINER IS IN SERIOUS DANGER OF BEING REPLACED BY A RAISING CAINE'S CHICKEN!!! NOOOOOO!!! It just a good all around diner. The waitresses are amazing and today we had Antoinette in the dining room. It amazes me that there breakfast steaks come out cooked to order, maybe a little under but NEVER over. It's the same with the chopped steak too. Today I'm trying the breakfast special which is a Philly cheese steak benidict.

Came on a weekday evening so it wasn't too busy. Big diner vibes obviously and a massive menu to complete. Went with the crab cake sandwich, which was just alright. I'd say it wasn't worth the cost, but service was great the whole evening for my big group.

My son had never been to a "diner"before so we had to go to the Lyndon diner while we were in town. There are so many things to choose from. I did not know what to get. I asked our waitress which she recommends and she said anything pot roast and I took her up on it and got the pot roast French dip sandwich it was out of this world. I am not a huge pot roast fan but since she said, I had to try something with the pot roast I did and I am so glad I listened to her

I've been here twice and had a good time both times. My second visit was December 2024 but both times with a larger party of 7. My Uncle loves this place and they're def growing on me too. I believe our server was Sierra and she was super sweet, very attentive. The crab meat melt I got was so yummy!! To this day I'm still thinking about it *drools*. I got the fries and onion rings too, and everything was so delicious. I believe the crab melt was $18.99 so not pricey at all for real crab meat! It was a good helping of it to too, they are great for giving large portions you can eat over two days. It's a very cute vibe with delicious looking desserts near the front, all kinds of cakes and cheesecakes. Overall, you can't go wrong in coming here, I highly recommend.

Bring your big appetite because you are going to need it! This classic diner hits all the marks. As you walk in you are hit with a wonderful case of desserts. Truly our only regret was saving room for some. With a full bar behind it they also serve Cocktails and Beer so you can have your breakfast and a Bloody Mary. Lots of room for groups of all sizes as this place was bustling mid day New Year's Eve. The staff were very attentive and got us seated quickly. One guest ordered the chili dog because he didn't want something too big and to his surprise he received the biggest chili dog served in what looks like a homemade roll that I have seen in a very long time. I ordered the Irish Breakfast which was also a very good portion. The home fries were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The salads are well done and good sized as well. We certainly didn't make it to the dessert but we certainly would recommend them as they looked amazing.

Such a cute location and the pot roast with FF and gravy all over was amazing. Huge portion and friendly waitstaff. Had to do late lunch early dinner as it was packed every time I went by.

Lyndon Diner Stopped by for dinner, no wait in line and seated immediately. Our server, Jay, is a really nice lady. Our dinner order was: Soup of the day: shrimp bisque, it's full with cream and shrimp but the cream doesn't taste like shrimp. Cobb Salad, a generous salad plate with fruits and veggies and ham or cold meat as protein. Lyndon Benedict, the egg are perfectly cooked but the downside is the English muffin and the hash browns potato are not cooked well and very oily. Chicken fingers kid's menu. What we received was a plate of big chunks fried boneless chicken, that's confusing. Overall all food are good, but it's not what we thought it would be, as we read on reviews. 1353 Kenneth Rd, York, PA 17404 daily 5.30 AM - 10 PM, Fri Sat 5.30 AM - 11PM starts from $10 restrooms inside the restaurant, accessible for both strollers and wheelchairs. accessible for strollers and wheelchairs free parking lot around the building. ℹ lyndondiner.net #lyndondinerpa #yorkpa #preservefootprints

The server did a great job with making sure that our drinks were filled, and we had to go boxes and brought our food out in a timely manner. Some of the appetizer choices were the calamari, fried kale and crab claw lollipops. All three were absolutely outstanding, and the portions were large. For dinner, our choices are rockfish, lobster, mac & cheese, filet mignon, or grilled chicken green curry. Again, the portion sizes were large and everyone enjoyed their meals. We were able to choose from a flourless chocolate torte or cheesecake. I forgot to mention that the Caesar salad was so fresh and the dressing was outstanding. I would like to come back and experience the restaurant and their entire menu. The upstairs had a fun, urban feel with a fireplace and a cool bar. We felt comfortable and it was a fun vibe.

Darwin would be displeased with you. As am I, because it's never good to have a tired teacher…read moreresearch any kind of history on her day off. You see, back in 17th century England, private houses would open their homes to the public and sell food and beer. Hence, public house. Over time, they dropped the "lic house" and just called them pubs. Because you never dropped the "lic house" makes me think that you haven't evolved like you should have. And frankly, your food is proof. In fact, it even made me nostalgic. But not in the way you might think. You see, I loved making fun food concoctions when I was a kid. My sister and I would watch this corny show called "Zoom" on Maryland public television, where the kid hosts would make recipes sent in from all over the country. We'd make homemade peanut butter cups using Jif and semisweet chocolate chips. Or weird sandwich combinations like pickles and potato chips and cheese and jelly. The seafood egg rolls weren't the worst part of my meal, but they were definitely sophomoric--as if a kid chef-in-training was asked to whip something up from Chinese food leftovers. Seafood should never taste fishy, yet these did. One bite hit me like something that had been sitting a little too long above the waterline. Not to mention, they were laying on a greasy glob of some mayonnaise accompaniment disguised as a fancy garnish you'd see on MasterChef. One word: Ick. The ahi tacos. Oh boy. My mind fills with seawater the moment I think of them because they tasted as if they had been fished right out of the ocean and then placed on my plate. They were wet. Soaked. Drenched. The gelatinous seaweed clump on each taco wasn't culinary-forward, just unappetizing. I took one bite and wished I could spit it back out, but I reluctantly swallowed it. My esophagus is now aquaphobic thanks to you. The moment the coconut jasmine rice hit my mouth, my tastebuds took the red eye to the coconut tree haven of the Maldives. Normally, this wouldn't be a bad thing, but the rice and coconut had no cohesion. It tasted like my younger self dumping a handful of shredded coconut--the sweetened kind my mom kept in the pantry for the wool on her Easter-shaped lamb cake--into a cup of microwaveable rice. The only redeeming aspect of our meal was your kind, charismatic waiter. He was lovely in every way--attentive, sweet, and helpful. He would have been an incredible host on "Zoom." If only his personality made the food taste better. For your sake, I hope you learn to evolve your kitchen's offerings beyond the amateurish trio I experienced. If not, your restaurant's bones may end up fossilized alongside every other place that couldn't adapt.
