Pops breakfast
Eric A.

Very nice food. Very nice people. Very little wait time for breakfast. I came in hunger and was not disappointed when I left. I will defiantly be coming back.

A small diner with really good food. Seating is quick, even if there is a line. Service is also attentive and quick.

No. Sub par at best. Bland food. Overpriced. I don't think they will be there long.

The chicken was over roasted. The Apple dumpling my son ate was very doughy and didn't taste like apple

Stopped in for Friday night dinner and drinks with Bestie. We got a late start so all of our usual…read morehaunts were packed to the gills. We walked in at 6:45 and grabbed a seat. It's a brewpub so the menu is pretty typical. Wide variety of mixed drinks, beer, etc., and your typical pub food burgers, fish, and chips steak, salmon, a little bit of pasta and a flatbread pizzas. Bestie went with the Smashburger and a side of broccoli. I went with the ribeye with the house salad and a side of fries. Waiter came to the table promptly took our drink orders, came back with the drinks and took our meal order. My ribeye was cooked to a perfect medium rare, topped with a small knob of garlic butter. The fries were crispy. Your typical pub fries. Bestie's burger was huge really delicious. She enjoyed it. Her side of broccoli was great. She opted for the vanilla bean cheesecake for dessert. She said it was tasty. Our drinks were good. I had an orange crush followed with the house hard apple cider very tasty. Price point was right there. Our entire meal was $86 before tip. They do have special some nights like taco Tuesday and a trivia night. They also do a music bingo night. Music wasn't too loud at all. They have a couple of TVs that you can watch sporting events. They do have an outside seating area with round picnic type benches when it's nice out. Plenty of parking. Easy in and out from Market Street. They're right across from the Yorkshire diner. Will definitely be back. It was a nice little find, nothing fancy but the food was really good and the price point excellent so if you get a chance, give them a try.

I took my Grandmother to Wyndridge Farm for her 92nd birthday lunch. I hadn't been here in years…read morebut it's largely unchanged. The grounds are really beautiful and would definitely make a good place to host a wedding or other big event. They make their own cider and beer and their menu features a few gluten free options including GF buns and GF pizza crust with other GF options clearly marked. We ordered the brussel sprouts and buffalo wings to share and my grandma and I split a white pizza on cauliflower crust. The brussels were good but nothing life changing - I do think if they cut them in half they'd have turned out more crispy and less mushy. The buffalo wings were slathered in a delicious sauce and very good. The white pizza was just OK. We asked for chicken to be added but they forgot. The crust was thin but not very crispy. I caught a glimpse of their regular pizzas which looked delicious if you are able to tolerate gluten. I also had the Wyn-mosa, their take on a mimosa. It came with their citrus cider mixed in and it was a really nice combination. They even put a candle in our dessert for my grandma, after I secretly requested it. The food is nothing super memorable but it's a good option if you're in the area.

Every staff member we have interacted with have all been professional & friendly. The restaurant has warm inviting decor & we love the bar area. Lots of great choices on the menu & wonderful daily specials. We love this restaurant so much that we hosted a baby shower may of 2026 in one of their upstairs private rooms. The event planner was great to work. She had wonderful suggestions on menu & set up. We chose a brunch buffet & added some of their appetizers & fresh fruit. We had rave reviews from all who attended on the venue, staff & food. We will continue to dine here and would highly recommend the space upstairs for private events. Ample parking - but one suggestion is make a reservation, as they are always busy

We made reservations as we know it gets rather busy. Reservations are highly suggested for Friday / Saturday nights. Large parking area outback the whole is packed full, which is generally a good sign in a restaurant. We arrived and we're promptly seated and our waiter arrived to take our drink order shortly thereafter. I had a desert bloom and Bestie had a sangria, rum punch concoction. Desert bloom was delicious. Nice change for a margarita. For apps, I had the French onion soup, which was absolutely delicious perfectly caramelized, onions, nice baguette plenty of cheese. Topped with a crispy onion broth was flavorful. She had the burrata which was a meal in it of itself came in a large salad plate with dressed leaves and strawberries, and a side of crusty bread. For means I got the cioppino and she had the angel hair with shrimp. The cioppino came with a wonderful large slice of grilled bread with an Uni butter, which was absolutely delicious. The broth of that stew was absolutely AMAZING. So rich and flavorful I could've died on that alone. It was full of seafood..... crab, claws, shrimp mussels, fish it was more than enough for two meals. Crab claws were great. The one thing I didn't like. I expected crab claws, and even muscles in the shell. But the tails on the shrimp is frustrating for me, in any dish like that, but I survived lol. Bestie was smarter than me and asked if the shrimp and her dish came with tails on, they did. She then asked if they would remove the tails which the waiter said yes they would so she requested and they obliged. Even though we were stuffed, we want to try some dessert. She had the dark side of the moon cake, and I had the Greek Panna cotta. Both were absolutely delicious. The cake was rich chocolatey just everything you would expect from an overindulge dessert. The Panna cotta was absolutely the perfect ending to the meal. It was covered with a sour cherries and small almond cookies - wonderful, flavor profile - worked so well together. Service was friendly. Price point was amazing. My meal with a drink before tip was $58. For the quality and amount of food I had and considering the giant bowl of seafood stew it was a great value. First post is on our regular rotation for Friday night dinners I haven't tried their brunch. But if you haven't tried The First Post and are looking for something not necessarily upscale, but also not of the Chili's Applebee's vein, consider giving them a try out in East York.
