We stopped by on the way home on Thursday, I had the broasted chicken , it came out freshly cooked and not out of a warmer.

We both went with the dinner specials, which were only 14.99 each and came with two sides. I ordered the ribs and my husband got the NY strip with butterfly shrimp. For the price, the portions were honestly huge. My ribs were fall off the bone tender and coated in a tangy BBQ sauce that had just the right balance of sweet and smoky. Easily one of the better diner style rib plates I have had. The fries were natural cut, perfectly seasoned, and had that ideal texture where they are pillowy inside with a light crisp on the outside. The succotash was simple but still good and comforting. My husband's steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and had great flavor throughout. The butterfly shrimp were crispy and paired really well with the steak. His side salad was super fresh with iceberg lettuce, cucumber, tomato, onion, and shredded cheddar. I did not even get a photo of it because he immediately dug in and loved it. The service really stood out too. Everyone was so attentive and quick to help with anything we needed like extra napkins or more sauce. It felt very welcoming and genuinely cared for. The interior has that true hometown diner feel where it seems like everyone knows each other. It is mostly booths with some tables and even a classic counter with stools, which gives it that nostalgic diner vibe. With both meals and drinks, our total was under $40, which feels rare lately for portions and quality like this. This is one of those spots where you leave full, happy, and feeling like you got an actual deal. Definitely worth stopping in if you are in the area.

The servers knew most of the diners by name and you could tell they've been coming here for years. This felt like home. Service was friendly and fast. Food came out hot and quick. Everything was delicious and portions were more than two hungry people could eat. Priced very reasonably. $26 for a TON of food. Glad we found this little gem.

We decided on pancakes for her and corned beef hash eggs Benedict for me. Her portion of silver dollar pancakes was humongous! My dish was full of corned beef chunks and I had a huge portion as well. The atmosphere is very laid back, the restaurant is very clean and there is something here for everyone. Give them a try!

We stopped by late on a Saturday night before our cruise out of Baltimore and ordered a variety of comfort foods, including a cheesesteak, pasta, crab dip and a Caesar salad. The diner has a classic, spacious feel. Cleanliness was average, and there was some construction happening near the entrance. The food was also pretty average overall. The crab dip was probably the best thing we ordered, my friend said the pasta tasted better the next day, and the other didn't even finish the cheesesteak. Cocktails weren't listed on the main menu, and the drink selection was limited once we asked for it. The real highlight seems to be the desserts and over-the-top milkshakes that people rave about online. If you have a sweet tooth, this place is probably worth a visit. For the food and service alone, though, I'd say it's just your average diner experience.

Amazing Diner!!!…read more Mad flavor! Great prices! Good service! Nice quantities! Amazing homemade desserts! A must try if you are ever in the area. Also I think they have a name change (Red Cup Diner).

This place was a one-and-done experience for us. Never again!!…read more My husband and I ended up here after the Dave Chappelle show because our original dinner plans fell through when the restaurant was fully booked. We should have made reservations, but at that point, all we wanted was a decent meal (nothing fancy) after a long workweek and then to head home. Unfortunately, a decent meal didn't happen. The food was some of the worst we've had in a long time. My husband actually spit food into his napkin, shook his head, and said, "I'm done." I've never seen him do that before. Several dishes were simply inedible. The mashed potatoes were bland and flavorless--how do you mess up mashed potatoes? The potato salad was equally bland and disappointing. The French onion soup had very little broth and was overloaded with a thick layer of hardened cheese. Overall, the food tasted cheap and poorly prepared, yet the prices suggested otherwise. It felt like diner-quality food being sold at premium prices. What made the experience even more frustrating was the manager's response. He came to our table after hearing about our concerns, but instead of focusing on the quality issues we raised, he seemed more concerned that my husband refused to order a replacement meal. That spoke volumes about where the priorities were. The one bright spot was our server, who was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the meal. No complaints regarding the server as he was extremely apologetic with our experience. To our surprise, the restaurant also added an automatic gratuity to our bill. Ironically, had that not been done, we likely would have tipped our server more because he was not the problem. The kitchen and management were. No, I didn't complain about the tip after I noticed it on our bill. We were over the experience and just wanted to pay and get the hell out of there. Save yourself the disappointment and spend your hard earned money elsewhere. We certainly wish we had. Gordon Ramsay, if you're looking for a future Kitchen Nightmares episode, this place could desperately use the help. P.S. A business name change is not going to help with the quality of the food. Do better and prove that you actually care about your customers, not just the $$.
