Came in bc of the great reviews. Cute little place with a bar and ample seating. While waiting for over 15 min just to have someone ask us how many, I was ready to rate this place a 1, however, Nick saved the day. We finally got seated and Nick quickly got us waters and took our order. We were in a rush to get to a concert next door, so we just went for a medium pizza, half cheese, half pepperoni. The pizza came out pretty quick and it was worth the wait to be seated!! Thin crust and piping hot! We ate our pizza, Nick got us a leftover box and we headed to our concert. This is really a hidden gem in York PA. I'm only giving this a four star because we stood in front of the restaurant area for a good 10 minutes before we were acknowledge and seated. The food was delicious. It came out hot and it had lots of flavor. Our waitress she was very nice and what I thought was pretty cool was how she recommended a bunch of different things and she even explained what certain things were. The ambience inside of this restaurant is so cool. It makes me feel like we're back in the 90s with all of the arcade games And neon signs. read more

If you're craving biscuits this is the place to come. I did a road trip to York to see tulips and stopped here for brunch. The Yelp reviews talked about the biscuits and they were a delight. The staff was so friendly - and was really attentive. Upon entrance it's a bit confusing as the owners own the pizza joint and this breakfast place. There's arcades, a fridge of craft beer and gender neutral bathrooms. Super hipster and liberal for PA - which I loved. The food is diner - and the coffee was super cold at first but the waitress quickly brought me a new mug. The hash browns were perfectly crispy. Get the biscuits with gravy, I got the plain and stole my friend's gravy. There is an early bird menu if you eat from 8-9 am which feels so small town to me. A must stop for brunch if you're in York! Cute place, good pizza, on a walkable street downtown. We were staying nearby, and saw this cute storefront while strolling on a Sat late afternoon. Friendly staff, cute decor, and quick take-out service. Their menu includes several types of pizza shape and thickness, cut however you like, with dairy and non-dairy "plant-based" option, with pre-planned toppings that tend to include some spiciness. We opted to select our own toppings, with a mushroom and sautéed onion and a non-dairy mushroom, sautéed onion, and green pepper. Both were delicious, and the non-dairy one was just as good as the regular cheese. The Archetype (regular) crust is a Neapolitan-style, thin and chewy, lightly charred, with just a little crisp and a pillowy edge. We got take-out, and you can eat-in here with some nice craft brews. For the record, this is not a cracker-y thin crust, more like a coal-fired hand-tossed, just so you know what "thin crust" means here, for those of us who like "thin" :-); Also, I couldnt read the online menu during closed hours. One of my favorite things about a breakfast place - no waiting. This place is perfectly named. It's like regular breakfast fare but just a little different, slightly uncommon. The eggs are super fluffy and thick (as in height). The bacon was thick. The hashbrowns are deep fried triangles of shredded potatoes. The breakfast sandwich was on brioche. All of it was delicious. Service was friendly and welcoming and quick. I had a coconut latte which was yummy. Could have been a little warmer. The restaurant has a retro 50s/60s decor. Very cute. read more

Once we got seated it took around 20 minutes till a waiter acknowledged us then brought water said they'd be back, they were only covering for our waitress as she was busy. She never came, we had the guy the entire time. We were going to eat a full meal, but because of the terrible start, we ended up only getting appetizers. This very small, retro, trendy restaurant is small but fantastic. The vibe is very hipster, yet inviting to all. The seating is limited but the kitchen is shared with a brunch concept for the morning. That is connected as one unit but closed after brunch times. Most tables seat four. Some are high tops or low. Then the bar is past that and splits the restaurant to another section of tables in the back for larger parties. There is a video jute box, a pinball machine, and a video game in the back. The bathrooms were totally redone and immaculate. We ordered a beer off their extensive list. (available and live online.) There is also a paper copy but we had to ask for it. Our server was at our table very fast despite his busy section. We ordered drinks. The bar drinks took a minute but were ran by another employee. One appetizer was the Sesame Citrus Smoked Wings. Wow! Cooked perfectly. Awesome sauce. Just the right amount of smoke. Very good! 5/5 We also got the Chips and Dips. The chips were fresh. Queso was rich and creamy. The guacamole was fresh and smooth. And the salsa was wonderful. Again.... 5/5 We ordered a smaller round pizza called The Jersey Turnpike. It had Long Hot Peppers, sausage, pepperoni, and sauce dollops. It was thin. Was cooked perfectly. Had the perfect balance of chew and crunch. The flavor was a great balance of salty, spice, and savory. 5/5 I would love to go back and try the Detroit Style Pizzas. I lived a long time in Michigan and they reminded me of Buddy's Pizza or Como's Pizza in Ferndale, MI. I love a good pizza with vodka sauce. That was from my time living in NJ. Everything from the food, the service, the drinks, and the ambience was awesome. I recommend trying to go at the beginning of a meal time. It filled up right after we got there at 5. Quaint place hipster type vibes, friendly staff if you come in there's a nice pizza shop next-door that I'm looking forward to trying because again they have plant-based options so if you're in the downtown York area and you're looking for somewhere that sells plant-based food check them out. I will say I had the honey lavender coffee not something I would try again simply because I'm a coffee drinker and honey and lavender. It just didn't go well for me. This is a great place to grab a pizza with a friend. The atmosphere is video game themed...which was really cool! It felt very chill and comfortable. The pizza was also AMAZING! The crust was crispy and cheesy, the flavors of the tangy peppers, savory vodka sauce, fatty sausage and yummy cheese just meshed so nicely together. The service was great and everyone made sure we were seated as quickly as possible (even though there was a 40 minute wait), and our server was very attentive to us. For my own selfish reason I wish this place was more of a secret because it gets super busy! But that's the sign a a great spot! We ordered the BYO pizza with pepperoni and pineapple. That was seriously good pizza!! I'm not typically a fan of pizza shop pizza, but this was excellent. My daughter ordered the white pizza and of course we helped her finish it. It was so good. Lover, loved, loved our visit. We arrived just after 12PM and the restaurant almost empty. We were greeted and seated quickly. Everything on the menu enticed us to order it but one can't order the entire menu. The choices we made were Excellent, tasty, and filling. The Garbage Can Biscuit was ... WOW!! Absolutely amazing Detroit style pizza. We couldn't decide where to eat. We really weren't in the mood for pizza, but we saw this place and decided to stop. As soon as we got out of the car, we could smell the pizza and chose to give it a try. We got there pretty late but they were ok with us sitting outside and ordering some pizza. Our server was amazing. She on her own would easily earn all 5 stars for the place. Luckily, the pizza was also fabulous. We ordered two Detroit style pizzas. Each was around $20. The Master of Pigs had pulled pork, chopped brisket, bacon, BBQ sauce, and cheese. The Smoked Chicken Nightmare had smoked chicken, blackened alfredo sauce, bacon, and cheese. Both came out piping hot with the crust perfectly crispy on the bottom and fluffy on top. There were plenty of toppings so every bite combined all the flavors. Hubby tried one of the GearHouse beers (about $7) and really liked it. This was some of the best pizza I've ever eaten. I can't wait to to back. Although I'd like to try different things, I think I'll order the exact same pizza and relive the awesomeness. Our server recommend we try the pizzas with Mike's Hot Honey on the side as a dip. We tried this restaurant on a Saturday around noon and it was fantastic. Not to mention the service was fantastic. The two ladies that served our table were genuinely courteous and professional. I had the El Chapo ( breakfast ) Tacos . Very good. I also had a taste of the Brotherly Love Hash which was also great. The salad and fries were all good too.
