I'm not sure what it is about this particular Panera Bread but 90% of my take out orders are not correct. I've only had food from their drive through service, and I'm truly hoping that shouldn't change the quality of the service/quality of food. My husband brings the food home and no he doesn't mess up my orders, if anything he hasn't had any issues with his food. I typically order salads and an ingredient is always missing.. So for that reason I am giving them 2 stars. I have not eaten in the store itself so I cannot attest to their accuracy there. So if u order through the drive thru, check your stuff before u drive home. read more

This location is the largest I've ever been to. Seating is always an issue at other locations but it is like a restaurant here. The service was quick and friendly. I love Panera but I feel like every time I go there they get at least one thing wrong with my meal. At lunchtime there is never enough seats and a quarter of the people were standing waiting for others to get up from their tables. When I did get a table, A male worker with extremely long hair kept passing by the table and it honestly grossed me out. The other female workers had their hair in buns and I feel like he should've put his up like that also. Otherwise the food was good and the environment was warm and friendly. read more

Panera's food always gets 5 stars for me. It's the staff and service at this location that makes me give it 3 stars. There is a lot of staff standing around behind the counter whenever I am there while only one register is open and a line of 10 people. Riddle me that. I have seen the manager speak to his staff and he doesn't seem to care about anything other than where they are ordering their dinner during their break. Ordered at the drive thru window to go. Line was long and took awhile. Employee interaction was pleasant. I got back to my office and there was no spoon or croutons for my soup. Tried the chicken, grain and arugula salad. Not bad but not great. I won't order it again. I like to come to Panera especially in fall for soup and salad but more attention needs to be paid to details. Rude and inattentive. We came up to the drive through and the box was off, they were closing within 30 mins but we pulled up to the window and they clearly saw us sitting there, even looked at us but didn't open the window or even have the courtesy to gesture at least that maybe the drive thru was closed. Didnt want to deal with people so i used the touch screen to order my meal. I ordered a green tea and they forgot my cup so i had to ask for it again, once there, i walked to the green tea station only to find out the woman had emptied all the juice containers. A worker came behind me tried to ask for the green tea for me which was obviously gone and emptied out of the bin so i ended up asking if i could just have the bottled green tea and left. Drove away only to realize my Mac and cheese was much smaller than what i was used to. The container was very small compared to what I've seen before so i made the effort to drive back and switch out for a large and the manager told me this small little cup IS a large. Either I'm dumb or they just cheated me. Never coming back to this Panera regardless though. The workers are far too rude. read more

On Saturday December 23, 2017, I was on my way to Canada and decided to use the mobile app to order breakfast at Panera Bread in Hamilton. My husband went in to pick up the food, but unfortunately they only had blueberries to make the Greek yogurt with mixed berry parfait. Not a problem. We took the food. As I opened the parfait and started eating, I found a strand of hair in my mouth. Yuk, disgusting, I wanted to barf. I immediately called the store and asked to speak with the Manager (Valerie said she was). I started recounting the event to her, but she was all too chirpy, insincere and robotic. I asked for a refund but was denied as according to her Corporate doesn't allow that. Very disappointed... Been coming here for years as I shop frequently in Hamilton Market. Prices went up approx . $3.00 for pick 2 and when they delivered it to my table the soup bowl was literally filled 1/4 way!!! Also they have decreased there selection of breads (no Asiago Demi). The salad had morsels of chicken and had also decreased in size. The good thing that remained was the $.99 pastry with ur meal! Very disappointed in Panera's. One of my favorites no more! read more

I loved Panera and been going for years until the new system put in. I was so looking forward order online without having to wait in line assuming quick check out. I ordered online during the day, they didn't inform me that the bakery goods were sold out even I gave them over 3 hours in advance until I arrived at the Panera to pick my order up. I waited over 30mins for my order with staff walking by doing nothing and standing by the counter and chatting non-stop even I tried to get their attention. From now on I order the previous day n pick up early in the mornings for bakery goods. Even not order online but at the counter, they system are too slow...I liked the old system better it was a lot faster but I'm not going there much as I used to. read more

For the last couple of years, Panera has been my go to for healthy/convenient food. But I have to say that my experiences with Panera have progressively gotten worst. I usually go to this location because of its proximity to my home but after my visit yesterday I will not be returning to another Panera location again. I went inside and placed an order to go. Before leaving I decided to check the bag. It's a good thing I did because a majority of the items I paid for were not in the bag! I'm not a huge fan of franchised food, but Panera is one of the few that deliver satisfaction. Their salads are always fresh. Their French onion is as good as I have ever had. Arrived around 2:15 pm to order and store was somewhat busy though not as serious as lunch rush hour. Order taker was unfamiliar with what the salad had in it and when she did read the ingredients I could barely understand her. Also, my order came out after the lady who was standing 2-3 people behind me who hadn't even ordered until after I did. ??? Food prep people were bickering over who was doing barista work or serving drinks. Also food is smacked down on platters and certain things do not come on the platter such as proper flatware. Who can eat the chicken in a power hummus chicken salad without a knife, a pelican??? Had to go back to ask for two knives, as one was not given when I asked for butter to go with my baguette (side with soup). The soup could have been much hotter than it was, as I usually don't find this problem with the flavors other than clam chowder. The drink dispenser fountain -- was being used by a lady who attempted 3 times to get water from the dispenser when pushing the auxiliary lever on one of the drinks. She kept getting a red drink and not water. As I was getting my iced tea, one of the canisters was empty and another that had just been brewed had a foil wrap on the spigot and was not swapped out for the empty one. Also as I got my ice and left, the ice tray was overflowing below the fountain. The general area was messy and I walked over some spilled lemon wedges that were on the floor. When I took my food to find seating, most tables were occupied and the ones that were free were obviously not wiped down. They were greasy with fingerprints or otherwise had some spilled food or soup or drinks on them and crumbs. This was enough to turn me off to my meal, but I did sit at a counter which no one else occupied, by the window near the WIFI sign. All in all, I used to eat more frequently at Panera when I had a steady work schedule but to be honest I think I won't be spending much money here going forward. The quality and cost of food is all relative but other establishments most likely would offer a more comprehensive and pleasurable experience. The hummus chicken power salad looked like 10 spinach leaves, 4 slices of chicken, 1 ring of red onion and lemon juice with some green minced stuff on top. It was 1/3 the quantity of a half size cobb salad. With the lukewarm soup it was hardly a meal to reconsider ordering again. read more

I always used to come here and got the food at a fast pace. The past 4 times I've come here, the food has taken upwards of 20 minutes and it has never even been crowded any of those times. Additionally, they bring out the wrong items almost every time now. I'm here now and our food came out wrong twice. I've also been waiting almost half an hour. This panera location has been going down hill! I used to love panera as a fast food alternative and the food was always consistently good, albeit a tad pricey, but lately the portions have been getting smaller and smaller and my last visit was my last time! My pick two salad was literally less than a quarter full! It's been getting smaller and smaller but this was a joke! The personnel is 80% of the time outright rude, the rest of the time they are just there, not rude but not even remotely friendly. The food is still good I have to say, that is what small amount of food you get. The prices are outrageous for the minuscule portions! Need a moment to look over the menu? Not in this place. You better come knowing what you want or else you will get dirty looked and rushed. I love Panera Bread and I have been to many throughout the states, but the customer service in this location is nonexistent. As we are trying to figure out what we would like to eat for lunch, the staff at the counter is staring at us and waving their hands around. We proceed to tell the people waiting behind us that we are not ready yet and they can go in front of us. They too were not sure of what they wanted yet the staff still continued to snarl amongst each other. Disgusted with the customer service, my friend and I took our business elsewhere. This was the worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant. The manager is a completely disrespectful human being and should not be managing anyone until he can learn to be respectful of customers so he can set a good example for his employees. Went here for lunch with my daughter, was incredibly busy since it was a Saturday afternoon so we ordered from the kiosk. French onion soup and a chocolate chip bagel. 20 minutes later a young man comes to our table with the soup and tells us that they are out of the chocolate chip bagels and asks what my daughter would like instead.. she ordered a plain bagel toasted with butter and cream cheese.. 15 minutes go by- my soup is cold and since I was waiting to eat until my daughter got hers, I just gave her the soup and went to find the manager. This is where everything got completely messed up. The manager is an older man, not wearing a name tag at all by the counter. I tell him we're waiting on the plain bagel and he cuts me off and says "ok ok it'll be right out" and would not even look at me when he was talking to me. I said - plain bagel with cream cheese and butter toasted. He just nods his head. When 5 more minutes go by and they're still no bagel o go to find him again, he tells me that it's on its way out and then I get really mad. I told him that if something is out of stock on an order with a hot item attached to it the replacement item a.k.a. the plain bagel should've gone in at the top and come right out or they should've held the soup until the other item was ready. He said that he would refund my order didn't ask my name, nothing. Finally he comes over to our table with a plain bagel with just butter. I asking for cream cheese he rolls his eyes at me and walked away. Then he comes back with cream cheese and $9 in cash. I show him the receipt of my order was $12.75 he said he didn't realize that we had gotten drinks and gave me a hard time about the fact that He had to make go back and properly reimburse me. He finally comes back with more cash and essentially throws it on the table and walked away. I should mention that he offered to get me a new bowl of soup but honestly, my appetite was gone. I have so many issues with this order but the icing on the cake is a manager rolling his eyes at me and speaking like that to me in front of my young daughter and the crowds around me. The table next to me commented about how much of an a** he was and how I should contact corporate. I loved Panera - until now. I have never been treated so poorly by someone- let alone a manager who is a grown man of a dining establishment for something so minor that was THEIR FAULT. Don't go here, this location is the absolute worst and could care less about their jobs or how what they are doing and acting is reflecting so poorly against the brand that is Panera. read more

I've had nothing but problems with this location. The manager doesn't seem to care about anything and doesn't check to make sure orders going out are correct. I always am missing something from my order without fail and my customized orders are never correct, always just the same as the original. Customer service does nothing for me either. Contacted them and heard nothing back, so I'm glad they care. I order out from here mostly and always find something missing when I get home that I didn't realize was missing including pastries I've ordered to entire sandwiches and soup bread bowls. When I asked about it at 20 mins they said it would be right out, as I continued to watch my sandwich sit there unattended for the next 15 mins until we said something again. Very slow, a lot of staff and the appearance of friendly, but inefficient. This may be because of the "rapid pick up" kiosks. May need to increase the preparation staff to account for the rapid kiosk orders as well as the routine orders, and drive through. Have been there in other occasions (prior to rapid kiosks) and had a pleasant experience. Perhaps just working out the kinks, hopefully. read more
