Went to the drive-thru and had the worst experience. The lady taking orders was rude, and it felt like she wasn't even listening to my order properly. She told me to drive up to the window before I even finished ordering. When i got to the window, she did not acknowledge me for 10+ minutes. I knew she wasn't busy because she was laughing and not speaking to any customers. When i finally got my order, she completely gave me the wrong order. Nothing in there was what I wanted. Tasty french onion soup. Tasty smoked ham and swiss sandwich. Awesome 1/2 and 1/2 concept. Cheap and fulfilling. Cozy interior. Everything is for $6.69 + tax. What make it even more superb is that the location is basically 5 mins away from my office; and it opens until 10pm on weekdays.. Considering I'm working graveyard shift, this is a good 'breakfast' for me before my shift start at 10:30pm. I can only give 4 stars for now because overly loud and obnoxious senior high school / freshman college kids that were in there. No, they aren't studying. I love Panera bread. This one in particular is the busiest of all of them. 4 stars for having staff give out pastry samples. It has a drive through and is right next to a highway so they get a lot of traffic. It was lunch time when I came in so it is expected to be busy but the kiosk for rapid order was free while several people were standing in line. The half-size Greek salad is a good deal from both a calorie and cost perspective, and it's a decent sized serving of greens along with a few kalamata olives, feta, and red onions. The rye on the ham and cheese won't have any real deli worried, as it tasted more like a dream of rye to me. Appreciated the side of an apple to make me feel really virtuous. The location is near a Barnes & Noble, and is on the desolation road known as 130, littered with a zillion other chains. At least you can hang out with free wifi for a while and write YELP reviews. I'm giving up on this Panera bread location. They never get my order right lately. Last night in the most recent incident was not getting chicken on the strawberry poppyseed chicken salad. Oh by the way, I also ordered avocado which is a dollar 59 extra charge and there's a grand total of three pieces of avocado it's not worth going here anymore. I've gone to this location 20 minutes before breakfast supposedly isn't being served and couldn't get breakfast because the manager told me they shut the grill down to the breakfast items down already which is absurd. This place has terrible staff or perhaps it was an off night. I don't know. There were at least 6 people standing behind the counter, but I stood there waiting to be served for several minutes, like I was invisible. It was later in the evening on a Thursday night and it was not crowded. Finally someone in training waited on me. She could not find my selection on the keyboard, so had to ask for help. That was fine and she was very pleasant. However, when she grabbed the cup for my drink, she put her fingers on the inside and outside of the top of it. Then she put her hand all over the top of the cup, before handing it to me. It's flu season and especially now, I don't want anyone's germs, so I asked for another cup. Also, no gloves? She picks up the cup with her bare hands and also handles money? Please train employees at least not to touch the top of the cup that customers will be drinking from. She forgot to give me my danish so I had to go back for it. Then she couldn't find a box, then she couldn't find a bag to put the box in! I walked away and came back because my food was getting cold. I did that twice before she finally got it all packed up. It was 1 danish and that took over 5 minutes. My edamame noodle bowl was not very hot and it really spicy. It was ok but I would not get it again. I usually like Panera's food so this review was more about the service. Management needs to get on staff to keep working, even when it's not busy, and not just stand around waiting to close. read more

I've been telling my wife how I don't understand why we keep coming to Panera here in the Hamilton Marketplace because of how god-awful the drive through service is. Every freaking time we come through the drive thru, something is wrong. Bread is missing, drinks are missing, soup is wrong, if it's not one thing, it's something else. It's a real shame, we come here all the time and meet with people here on the regular, we'll have to go somewhere else from now on. Waited 25 minutes for an error filled order I came here at 8:15 at night hoping for a quick take out meal. I had to wait 25 minutes for an order with 3 errors. First, they substituted the chicken rice soup I ordered with their "clam chowder", which contained no clams and only a few chunks of potatoes. It was completely broth. Then the steak and cheddar panini I ordered had the wrong type of cheese and almost no meat in it. Then they completely left out the side I ordered or any substitute. Other customers in the store at the time were experiencing similar issues. One man had been waiting an hour and a half for an order that still wasn't completed when I left. He was livid. The customer who ordered just before me waited 22 minutes for an order with multiple errors. This is the worst Panera I have ever visited with horrible customer service. Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED. I love the grilled cheese and the broccoli and cheese soup combo that they have. Their broccoli and cheese soup is really really good. Especially with the chips that come with it. You have to go a little early for lunch if you don't want to stand in a line. This place gets packed and sometimes finding a seat can be difficult. I'm actually not the biggest Panera fan but my girlfriend is so when we go I pretty much order the same thing every time and I'm not let down. Once in a blue moon I'll order the larger bowl of soup because it's pretty much - that good. Good place - but remember go outside the normal lunch times if you want a seat. I've ordered food via delivery from this location twice in the last two weeks, on both occasions the food wash fresh, perfectly prepared and delivered by a prompt, friendly delivery driver. I'm a hairdresser at a busy local hair salon, it's incredibly difficult to find healthy and readily available meals - I'm thankful that Panera not only delivers but provides healthy delicious meals as well! I always loved Panera until about 6 months ago when there was an issue with a product and gift card that couldn't be resolved by local manager. So I haven't been back until today. I ordered chicken Fuji apple salad. When I got home I discovered there was no chicken on salad. I went back, it was remade. I frequent Panera quite often, and would definitely consider myself a fan, but this experience has ruined the brand for me. I ordered food in the drive-through and was greeted by a very rude woman with a thick accent, she interrupted me during my order and yelled at me when I asked her a question. I was very upset when I got to the window and found that the same woman was checking me out. I believe she was a manager based on her outfit, but I found her behavior extremely unprofessional. Just like Starbucks, McDonalds and any other popular franchise, you have a good idea of what to expect when you enter. We came here for breakfast/ brunch. I ordered my usual cinnamon crunch bagel with hazelnut cream cheese. It was sweet, crunchy and creamy. It was ready about five minutes after I ordered. My friend ordered steel cut oatmeal as well as a Mediterranean Egg White on Ciabatta. That took a while... long enough for me to identify which seats had outlets, to go to the restroom, fill up my ice tea, go to my car and get my laptop, and then waited for what seemed like another 15 minutes. I found everything we ordered to be pretty satisfying. The oatmeal had strawberries and pecans with a side of brown sugar to sweeten to your liking. The sandwich had good toasted texture and was not greasy at all. I imagine this is a popular place for meet-ups, studying, and first date encounters. Good people watching. Stopped at this Panera on the way back from a day trip to NYC with my husband and my parents and had an absolutely terrible experience. We placed our orders and if you're not familiar with this place, it is pricey!!! We only had sandwiches (with drinks and chips) but the total came out to over $50 for the four of us. Sickening. I also just realized right now that she didn't ask me for my Panera card so I didn't even get my rewards credit for that purchase. :/ My mum and I went to the ladies room and it was disgusting. One of the stalls was completely unusable (I will not go into details but it was gross), the other stall was not clean by any means, but we made due. The sink area was sopping wet and there were used paper towels on the floor and counter. Food was subpar. My dad and I both had the steak and cheddar panini, and the sandwiches came out with the cheese already congealed and cold. The steak was also a thickly-sliced flank that was heavily peppered, and very tough. Additionally it came with grilled onions, which was not listed on the menu nor did the cashier inform us (though she did ask my husband if he was ok with lettuce, tomato and onions on his turkey sandwich). I was safe with my bag of chips but my day's apple was completely soft and rotten. And the cherry on top of this awful experience: my mother, who has been a vegetarian for 35 years, ordered a kid's grilled cheese after combing the menu for something without meat. Well, the cashier didn't think it was necessary to inform her there was bacon in the grilled cheese (nor was it listed on the menu). My poor mother almost vomited right at the table. I asked to speak to a manager, who told me he was not authorized to issue refunds (note: he WAS however able to edit our check 15 minutes earlier, after I paid, mind you, in order to allow us to add on a few pastries to the meals for $0.99 each) but that he could take down my info and the owner would contact me about getting a store credit. He started to take down my info in this masssssive binder labeled customer complaints at which point I told him to forget it as we were just passing through and would not be back to this store. He then offered to have another sandwich made but obviously my mother had already lost her appetite so we just left. He did apologize, and said the cashier should have told us there was bacon, but only *after* he tried to blame us for 1) not saying she was a vegetarian (which we did!) and 2) not knowing that the kids grilled cheese had bacon in it, though I have no clue how we were supposed to know this when it was not listed anywhere). All in all, terrible experience. Over-priced food that was not even good, and service that left us all irritated and cranky. Be aware that the menu does not list all ingredients in their food items, so if you have allergies or any kind of food preference, it is best to ask because they will not tell you. I love Panera but I feel like every time I go there they get at least one thing wrong with my meal. At lunchtime there is never enough seats and a quarter of the people were standing waiting for others to get up from their tables. When I did get a table, A male worker with extremely long hair kept passing by the table and it honestly grossed me out. Basically, Panera is a rip off. I used to rely on Panera when desperate for a fast food type option that wasn't horrible for me, but no longer. On my last visit, I ordered a half sandwich, half soup combo. I opted for the chicken avocado blt sans bacon, and turkey chili for my soup. First of all, when I unwrapped the sandwich, it was more like a bite than a half. And to my chagrin, it was on white bread. I really wasn't expecting white bread. Then, the sandwich was devoid of flavor. Same went for the 1/4 cup of turkey chili. Terribly under seasoned. I left unsatisfied and wanting my $11 back. I think I'm done with this chain. read more

There is a lot of staff standing around behind the counter whenever I am there while only one register is open and a line of 10 people. Riddle me that. I have seen the manager speak to his staff and he doesn't seem to care about anything other than where they are ordering their dinner during their break.
