Tomato soup with bread (bowl size with dine in)
Jessica C.

Came at 10am today and it was still breakfast menu, heard the soup wouldn't be available until 10:30. Got the toasted caprese focaccia and highly recommended. The cashier was very helpful and professional and she let me browse through the electronic menu to help make my decision since it looked different than the menus above the counter. When she stepped away to give me more time, another cashier offered to assist me. Great service. I saw another employee ready to clean up my table as well when I stepped away to pick up my order. My order came with chips. Plenty of parking and plenty of customers seated, but still lots of seating available. A great place to conversate and comfortable temperature inside with the rainy weather outside. Later ordered the tomato soup and was able to purchase by typing in my card numbers. Bathroom was clean with two stalls and a changing table in the women's larger stall.

You pick two

I come here for carbs with my tennis team during tennis tournaments and it always hits the spot. We love love love the you pick two--salad and sandwich AND an apple or baguette or chips? Amazing. There's something for everyone. Portions are large and filling and bread is fresh and warm. I also loved the salad--lots of protein! More than I expected so it's good bang for your buck. You can order on kiosks and service is pretty fast. I also love the ambiance--it's homey and cozy and reminds me of home. It reminds me of the Panera I grew up going to! There's lots of people sitting and doing work here, like they camp out for the AC and wifi.

NEW Farmhouse Duo Asiago- where's the bacon!? Must be invisible at the bottom

I tried Panera Bread for the first time through DoorDash while I was sick and just wanted something simple. I ordered three breakfast sandwiches to share with my kids: the Sausage & Egg Asiago Bagel, the NEW Wake-Up BLT Asiago Everything Bagel, and the NEW Farmhouse Duo Asiago. The food was meh.. the sandwiches were smaller than expected for the price, and one had way too much arugula, which overpowered the taste of the sandwiches. On top of that, two of the sandwiches were missing ingredients (no cheese or tomatoes). And how are you out of croissant sandwiches at 9 AM? Not the best first impression, probably won't order again.

Food: 3.6 Service: 3.0 Came in on a Monday and upon entering my BF said what's burning, but didn't deter us from ordering and sitting down for lunch inside. He doesn't frequent Panera so he didn't know what a "Pick-2" was; so I needed to explain to pick two items from under the "pick-2" columns on the menu. Order 1: Greek Goddess chicken salad with a bowl of tomato bisque Order 2: chicken Caesar salad with Mexican chowder w / street corn & chicken After ordering everything is self-serve: get your own drinks from the drink station and pick-up your entire order once they call your name. We were there at 1pm so kinda after their lunch rush, but tables are not frequently wiped down (had to wet down a few napkins and clean the table top) and then that burning smell came back. So there's a piece of equipment that the employees don't maintain, luckily the smell lasted only a few minutes. Food came out a few moments after, my Caesar salad was nothing really special but what did stand out was the croutons and Parmesan slices, the corn chowder had nice Smokey & sweet savory flavor (maybe that's the burning smell LOL) My BF's Greek Goddess salad was "okay" but filling since he only finished half his soup. His tomato bisque was thick and had a starchy taste to it. Overall, the food was just above average which reminds me why I don't frequent these establishments and try to support more local restaurants.

Fast and friendly service. I didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes for my order, even on a busy Saturday morning! I ordered the warm, hearty oatmeal for breakfast. The restaurant was clean with a nice, cozy vibe inside. Great place to start the day!

I went to this location last week and I noticed that the place is not very clean and I asked one of the workers if she be able to clean and she said that is not part of her job I was really disappointed that a place like Panera doesn't look clean on this areas imagine how the kitchen looks

Broccoli Cheddar Soup and Chipotle Chicken Avo Melt

My family and I absolutely love our hospital food, (LOL). Soups, salads, sandwiches, bagels and pastries! Kids asked for Panera on NYE lunch and we ordered our favorites, chipotle chicken avocado melts, broccoli cheddar soup, rice and chicken soup and chicken noodle. Our food is always great, but it is on the pricier end given the portions. We love this location, great customer service and great quality. My only issue, the location is very busy, and the dining is constantly in need of cleaning.

I just quit my job today and I need a little pick me up of course Panera always provides specially this location. I was helped by Chyanne. Who is only the biggest ray of sunshine in human form you could speak to. I ordered a mac & cheese bread bowl, which I didn't know as possible until she told me also got a bag of chips agave lemonade, green tea, and mixed it with starry, and it was really good. I'm pregnant and I'm technically homeless I have temporary housing right now, but it's been a struggle and I'm just glad I can come somewhere. I feel safe and Wi-Fi and be welcomed. Julieanna was so sweet. I didn't order with her but she helped immensely just w a simple conversation and a smile. My panera in Elk Grove for sure.

My husband was craving a grilled cheese sandwich. You did not disappoint. Best grilled cheese I ever ate. Nothing fancy, but so delicious. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and it was very good too. Service is always good and fast. Very nice restaurant, clean, clean bathrooms plenty of room.

Everything bagel seasoning on my sesame bagel
Portia C.

I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent visit. This is the closest Panera to where I live now. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of the bagels--they are soft, fresh, and have excellent flavor. However, I did experience a concern with the packaging process during this rapid pick up order visit. I ordered a baker's dozen that included both savory and sweet bagels. When I picked up my order, I noticed that the everything bagels were mixed in with the rest, including the sweet ones. As a result, all of my bagels ended up with everything bagel seasoning, which was disappointing. This is the first time I've encountered this issue, and I'm unsure if it's specific to this location. I brought this up to the associate that gave me my pickup order and all they said was "next time put it in your special request portion." At other Panera locations I've visited, the everything bagels were always AUTOMATICALLY separated to avoid cross-contamination with the other bagels. I actually learned this from a Panera associate that actually told me that they have to separate it. I've already reached out to customer service and received an automated response stating someone would follow up within a few business days. Additionally, I've noticed that the service at this particular location seems to take longer than at others I've been to, with food often taking more time to come out. I hope this review is helpful. Next time I will definitely put it on my request to separate the everything bagel from the rest of my order.

Zoom in and you will see the ants

I'm usually all for giving good reviews, but this experience was just unacceptable. The woman who helped us was great -- she had a Stitch sticker on her name tag and provided really kind service. However, the reason I'm giving one star is because of what I saw around the food and drink area. As shown in the pictures below, there were ants crawling all over the counter where my drink and food were placed, and several more on the ground nearby. To me, this is a food safety issue -- and when I'm paying nearly $40 for a meal, I don't expect to be eating next to an ant trail. The photo might not capture it perfectly, but I've included a screenshot of my maps location to confirm that this was indeed the Panera we visited. I truly hope management addresses the cleanliness and pest issue here, because the staff deserve better working conditions and customers deserve a cleaner dining experience.

French dip sandwich a bit light on the beef.
steve s.

I really like the ambiance of this place. It's feels homey to me. The cashier was courteous. The were out of the bread side. What? "Bread" is in their name! I chose the French dip sandwich based on the thick layer of beef in their menu photo. This was a disappointment (see my photo). I give them a D. Below average.

It wasn't busy at all when I was there around 1pm. Service was good. I ordered the La bou chicken salad and some Thai chicken soup. Also got a turkey sandwich on baguette. The La bou salad was refreshing but the dill sauce jar I got for it was a bit light and runny this time around. Not the usual semi thick dill sauce they used to have. The Thai soup was flavorful. And the turkey on baguette was good. The turkey hot bake was great just wished the dill sauce wasn't thin water like. I also ordered Togo for my kids and a man took my order as I was walking up to pick it up. I heard my number called so I walked up . Didn't realized it was mine until I asked and they said they had just placed it on counter. So I told them the man must've took it because I don't see any bags. They were irritated at the man but remade my order really quickly and apologized and handed me a new bag.

By the time I got home, one of the dishes had leaked all over the bottom of the bag, creating a pretty big mess. As for the food itself, it was just okay. The Mixed Vegetable Cashew was decent and made for a good leftover lunch the next day once I repacked it into glass Tupperware. However, the Orange Wonder was not at all what I expected, and I didn't really enjoy it. I'm usually not a fan of wasting food, but I couldn't even bring myself to save those leftovers. Overall, they have a huge menu and it's a great spot for vegans and vegetarians. I would definitely give them another try, but I'll be ordering different dishes next time.

I told the person at the very front when I decided to make the long drive, and they seemed very unconcerned, which is definitely a step below a red flag. I feel it should be a concern that customers can't reach a business that doesn't offer an alternate contact method. I don't love the idea that a business forces people to come in person if they want to interact. There's no email on their website. The lack of concern from the staff, suggests the inability to call and reach a live person, is intentional. The outside is very confusing that I wasn't sure which door was the actual entrance. There are tables outside for this place, with candles. No candles on tables inside. Odd for ambiance. I suggest somehow making the entrance clearer as an entrance. Once I was seated, I found there are excellent cuts of beef (great food), great service from my main wait person, an attempt at fine dining ambiance, but sharply falling short on affordable pricing, even with a $20 off promo coupon. Char on ribeye was perfect, but what the server called "the Brazilian bread" was cold af when it came out. They were cold, solid, unflavorful bits of bread instead of the usual melty cheesy inside (the actual name is pão de queijo). The different service people who brought the cuts of meat out, sometimes skipped me on the food offerings/rounds, even with my green "more food" card on my table, facing up. It was like I wasn't even there. All of the staff were polite, but the meat rounds could have come around a bit faster, though the rotation wasn't unbearably slow. I definitely found myself waiting, waiting, and waiting. My main waiter (who was named Gabriel) was very polite, and asked how I was doing when he did stop by my table. He made using the coupon very easy. I only had to say I loved the Pichana once, and it was brought out again. Other Brazilian BBQ have seemed to need reminding more than once. The salad bar left much to be desired, and it was odd for me to see sushi (California rolls, specifically) in the salad bar,not looking very fresh. It's worth mentioning that none of the beef cuts left that kitchen unprepared or unpresentable, so the taste of all the beef cuts in the all you can eat (if they come by your table) were a solid 9/10. The entire cost was nearly $60 after a $20 coupon was applied (confusing for me as someone mentioned here the usual dinner price is $64/$65. The way my receipt looked, it would have cost me almost $80 for just me eating by myself and drinking only tap water), the unusually high price, plus random/inconsistent Gaucho service, I feel is enough reason to rate at 3 stars due to the fact that there are other Brazilian BBQ I rated at 4 stars that are much more affordable, faster rotations of meat, and better variety and quality of salad bar.
