2 stars for service and first time experience although my friends and I enjoyed the drinks, sandwiches/sliders from the "Momo menu". The drinks came out first, so we sipped and waited.. and waited and waited. A whole hour! (There were barely any customers and were not busy!) just us, and 2 other customers. Within that hour, the staff/cook messed up our orders not 1, not 2 but 3 times. Forgot avocado, brought out wrong items and quantities. Drinks that were placed Togo, was diluted and we had to respectfully ask them to remake it which was an extra wait. Trying to give them the benefit of the doubt.. maybe 1 of the 2 staffs is new? Maybe the kitchen appliances weren't working properly or fast? Ugh, honestly don't know but it took FOREVER no exaggeration. Hope our next experience will be better.
I didn't realize MOMO Korean Egg Drop was inside Bober/Mochi Dough. It would probably benefit the business to include its name somewhere, otherwise it's just relying solely on people finding it online. In any case, I had the Seoul Spam Sandwich. The packaging is absolutely adorable. While I like the looks, I hate what it really is: extra trash in the landfill. Taste-wise, the sandwich was delicious. But why is it so tasty? Because it seems to be saturated with butter (and probably a bunch of other unhealthy stuff). I felt like I must have eaten a stick of butter when I was done with that thing. When you first look at it, you're deceived into thinking it has a lot of contents inside...but most of the ingredients are just tucked into the top half of the sandwich and are sticking out the top. To summarize, I enjoyed the food while I was consuming it, but didn't love the feeling post-meal. Additionally, it's not the best value-wise either. (You can get a sandwich filled with more contents, and perhaps even a couple veggies, elsewhere.)
Located inside of bober tea. You only really know about the food on the kiosk to order since it's not openly advertised. Cute little packaged sandwiches and sliders. But really packed full of food for the bread ratio. Toast is really tasty and fluffy. Can definitely be on the heavier side but definitely yummy!
The concept is awesome. I was so obsessed with Korean egg sandwich I ate them daily during my visit to Seoul so I was really excited to try this place out. I did not realize this was inside a Bober tea spot . I think it's a smart idea and I want more restaurant and drink spot to share kitchen like this. It's so convenient! Does the sandwich. I think it's interesting that they basically slice down a thick toast and stuff the filling. That being said you're gonna get a big bite of toast at the end. The filling was a bit too sweet for me. I will need to try other sandwiches to be sold. Also this is a messy meal I keep on dropping bits on the table Drink wise I really like the pandan foam. It works on a lot of different drink base so good! I get my tea non sweet bc the foam is enough sweetness. I like ordering from kiosk and they did come out to inform of a special promotion but she spoke too fast and the sandwich took about 15 min to get made so just an FYI if you're on a time crunch for lunch - order ahead. I'm sad that I can't find Momo Korean egg drop on delivery app though. It's not even too far from my spot. Til next time.
Thanks Yelp! for recommending this egg sandwich place that happens to be in a super cool boba shop. The place has a fun ambiance with lots of feaux pink roses on the wall, white tables, and upbeat pop music playing. The computer kiosk was easy to order with. The front server recommended the ham and avocado egg sandwich but I couldn't resist also getting the spam egg sandwich. She was right and it actually tasted better. The bread was soft and lightly toasted and the egg and cheese in both sandwiches tasted wonderful. There was a longer than usual wait because there was a kids party going on in the loft area that had a small area with pink plastic balls. I took a picture of the play area but a couple Karen moms weren't happy and asked me to delete my pic even after I explained it was for a Yelp! review. Haha!
Order on a kiosk and they will call out your name when your sandwhich is ready. The sandwhich itself is super small with very little filling. They put more effort into presentation than in value/quality. Definitely not worth the price. And it doesn't taste that good. They overload it with mayo so that's the main flavor i taste. And they are super skimpy with the avocado. They gave only a thin sliver and not even a full slice. Wouldn't recommend as there are other tastier things you can get with your money.

Unfortunately, they completely forgot my order and told me that it was being made. This confused me since I saw 2 people who were after me get their order for the exact same item. Food: These egg sandwiches were okay nothing special. It is pretty heavy and definitely very filling. The taste was not bad and definitely what you expect from a chain store like this. We got two sandwiches. The itaewon chicken and pesto and beef bulgogi . The chicken wasn't too dry and had a well balanced pesto flavor. The beef bulgogi was sweet and savory. Overall the sandwiches had fluffy bread and well seasoned eggs. However it was bit on the oily side for both sandwiches. In addition, it was a bit pricy as well.

That's the one thing we hate the most, even on days where there's no one else there or in line. So if it's a busy day just plan on waiting much longer for the sandwiches. Today, Only one person was in front of us and they'd ordered a sandwich and drink and even they waited "forever" for their sandwich and drink. Several others behind us had only ordered drinks and all their orders were fulfilled before our two sandwiches. Sandwiches ordered at 12:06p, received at 12:33pm. I get it, it takes time to make food, but we didn't order some culinary dish or something that needed to be baked. It's literally a light toast of bread, scrambled eggs, and two slices of spam. I had ordered my sandwich without nori but it was added on anyway. I hate the smell and taste of nori but I wasn't going to wait another half hour for my sandwich. When we finally got our sandwiches it was cold, like it had been sitting for a while cold. The cheese had darkened like it'd been sitting. The cheese wasn't soft from being melted, it had already cooled down and broke when touched or ate into it. No wonder it took forever to get them. There was one couple that had ordered two sandwiches after us and they got it in about 15 minutes from my count. The place is a bit overly done with just too much pink and flowers, but I guess it's just how they want it. Feels like a unicorn utopia. This is my last visit here. Not coming back. I was too pissed off to complain and wait for another sandwich would would've made the visit an hour wait just for food. Ridiculous. I hope the business owner contacts me so I can let them know not just from this review.
My friend and I tried MOMO Korean Egg Drop - which is located inside Bober Tea on Calvine Rd. I ordered the ITAEWON chicken pesto sandwich ($10.90) and my friend tried the Beef Bulgogi Slider ($8.10). Food is served all day as long as they're not sold out. You order through one of the two usual Bober kiosks inside or you can order ahead online. The positives: Sandwich and slider was ready in a few short minutes and come in cute plastic boxes. Both had reaaaally soft bread. The negatives: Without a plate, it's awkward to eat them because they have to be taken out of their boxes and you have nowhere to set your sandwich on between bites. There wasn't enough filling to bread ratio. My sandwich had a few tiny pieces of dry chicken pieces. So, it was mostly scrambled eggs, some pesto sauce, and a slice of cheese. My friend thought the bulgogi was good but threw away the rest since it was mostly bread without enough filling. Overall, I'm glad we gave the sandwiches a try but they're a bit too pricey for mainly bread.
Finally had the opportunity to try Momo's. I ordered on their website; however, the ticket did not print upon arrival to the restaurant. I really enjoyed the bulgogi beef egg sandwich. It is quite messy so I am glad that I waited until I returned home to devour it. I was impressed that the bread was not soggy by the time I returned home. The bread was still very much crispy on the exterior. I also ordered 1/2 dozen of their mochi donuts. My son's favorite is the funnel cake. I really enjoyed the blueberry with coconut. The coconut Vietnamese coffee was great as well. Although, charging 90 cents extra for light ice is insane. The cup is already filled with 50% ice. Every coffee establishment I've visited does not follow this policy. I may return up try their other egg sandwich options. read more

When you walk in you have to order from the kiosk. They had many different options from sandwiches, bowls, and sliders. We got the ham and avocado sandwich and the spam egg sandwich ($11.90 each). It took a little while to get the food. They put the sandwiches in such cute packaging. The bread was very fluffy and it was so yummy. It was actually pretty filling. I definitely need to try their other items on the menu. They also have plenty of seating inside to sit and eat. read more

Note that this place is a part of Bober Tea. Finally got to try one of the sandwiches (the beef bulgogi one) and it was pretty underwhelming. Meat was on the drier side and the bread was overpowering. I'm hoping this order isn't the usual, as I'd like to try other sandwiches. read more

I got their beef bulgogi sandwich and it was ok. The sandwich was a a bit hard to eat because the top was overfilled. I noticed the bottom inch of the sandwich not having any filling so I would have preferred them to have the filling more spread out. You order at a kiosk so I did not have much interaction with the workers but they were friendly. My problem with this place was the AC. It was over 110 degrees outside when I visited and it did not feel like the AC was on. There was no ventilation and the bathroom felt cooler than in the front. I'm not sure if the AC was broken, but they should have at least had floor fans available. read more

This new spot is located inside the Elk Grove Bober Tea location and I've had nothing like it! *This is a takeout review My mom brought these home after we saw an Instagram reel of this spot. The chose the spam sandwich and it was so yummy! The spam was flavorful, the eggs were cheesy and fluffy, and the bread was soft and airy. The sandwich isn't split bread by bread like a typical sandwich is. The bread is connected at the bottom, creating a pocket for the food to sit in without it falling out while eating. Genius. The sandwiches were a little over $12 each, which I felt was bit pricey for the size. All in all, I look forward to trying more of the menu and I enjoyed the food! read more
I was egg-cited to try this place after stumbling upon their aesthetic food pictures on Instagram. With no signs indicating that they are located inside Bober Tea, I ended up circling around and scrambling to figure out where the store was. The place was empty with no one at the register, and I only cracked the mystery at last by browsing the self-serve kiosks. I ended up getting a bulgogi slider but was shell-shocked by how small the actual sandwich was. Whoever hatched the idea to load only half the sandwich with fillings is definitely an evil genius. Given the price and portions, you might as well make your own at home. I've been to Seoul and eaten Korean egg sandwiches there. This ain't it. read more
Finally got the chance today to visit this Bober Tea location in Elk Grove. This location is way bigger than the one on 65th St. We're so EGG-cited to try their new infamous Momo korean egg drop sandwiches. Drinks came out in about 10 minutes. My black tea was not at all flavorful. I'm not a huge fan of their drinks here. I would 't order it again. After ordering it also took about 20-25 minutes wait time for the sandwiches to be made. If you're in a hurry, you might want to order ahead of time before arriving. Now the highlight of this place has to be the delicious egg drop sandwiches. I got the spam egg and cheese sandwich and wow the egg was so creamy. It's a bit messy eating these sandwiches but that didn't stop me at all. Like my sister in law says, theres no way to eat this sandwich with grace. When the sandwiches came out it was only slightly warm. I wish it was a little bit more hot. I like my food to be hot and not on the borderline of just warm. The toast was like an envelope style and was filled up with all your toppings. Toast wasn't very crispy either but I love the bread they used for the sandwiches. This egg drop sandwich is a must try. It might not be everyone's cup of tea but you're going have to try it and judge it yourself. I truly enjoyed it and cant wait to try the spicy pork egg sandwich next time. read more

Korean sandwiches! Ordered their spicy pork and it was ok, cold and savory sandwich. The milk bread was fluffy and light but I was expecting g the whole sandwich to be fresh and hot. Came in and my first impression was "WHAT?" !! No AC??! How they think I can enjoy food on a hot weather? So took the food to the car and ate it. It was very hard to eat it, the top part fell out as soon you take a bite then u realized that all the meat and egg was just at the top, toward the bottom is was very tiny little bit of egg.....it was messy to eat it ... Overall is just a sandwich, worth the hype? Or the $12.90? Maybe worth for a try but didn't stand out for me to come back again. read more
Momo Korea Egg Drop is located inside of Bober in Elk Grove. They have a soft opening from May 20-31. Grand opening on June 1. You can order the sandwiches and mini sliders on Bober's website for quicker pick-up. We got the Beef Bulgogi with marinated beef, MOMO signature soft scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, MOMO sauce & nori flakes. The bread is fluffy, fresh with a hint of sweetness. The eggs are soft, and meat is nicely marinated. You don't get a lot of meat, and the sandwich is only filled on the top portion. The bottom is all bread. $12.40 is a bit pricey for an egg sandwich. It was a filling tho because of the high protein. We also got the Gwangju Bacon Slider with thick cut bacon, MOMO signature soft scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, MOMO sauce & nori flakes. The eggs and bread are the same as the sandwich. Fluffy and soft with melted cheese. I wish there was more bacon. Cool concept and the cutest packaging! It's great that it's inside of Bober. You can order a boba and mochinut all in one stop. read more
The only thing this Korean egg drop place is doing is DROPPING THE BALL. It's a shame that there is so much potential for this place to be as well-loved and successful as other chains like it elsewhere, but with this type of customer service and quality, they may continue to lose customers (unless the customer is 7 and under, and is there just for aesthetic and photos since the place is decorated pretty darn cute). I have been forewarned from other reviews about the wait time, so I made sure to put in a mobile order ahead of time. It didn't matter at all, because it was incredibly way past the pick up time when I've finally received my food. On top of that, the front desk customer service was not on top of things when it came to friendliness or attentiveness. When a customer ask for a status update, without taking a few seconds to touch base with the kitchen, she just replied "it'll be right out" (it wasn't right out at all). This was very careless to not have at the least checked to make sure the order was even put in because mistakes do happen. But perhaps this happens so frequently that she just knew it was the norm. That's almost in a way, worse. Personally, I have a deep appreciation for good food and do not mind long waits. What does bother me is the false advertisement in any sort of way down to the order pickup time. The least they could do is subside my irritation with deliciously comforting foods. Sad to say, they did not deliver on any points. With a recipe that uses simple and inexpensive ingredients, they really have no business charging almost $12/sandwich. This would be somewhat justified (although still much more expensive than other places offering the same things) if the sandwich itself was good. If I could sum up the taste using one word, it would be "edible". But even that is only half true. The enormous brick of Brioche toast was sliced center to create a pocket, enough to stuff fillings (messily) ONLY halfway down. The true beauty of eating a sandwich is to have a combination of ingredients work together creating a perfect bite. They assembled this without a care in the world and it showed. Every bite was inconsistent, getting you some ingredients and not others in a single attempt. The egg was the consistency of a scrambled egg no different than a typical egg salad at any supermarket deli section. There wasn't any sauce to make it stand out. The cheese was not melted. The bread felt untoasted yet oily from melted butter. It was just a room temperature, below mediocre sandwich. Perhaps one of the thing that annoyed me the most was how the bottom half of the bread was exactly just that. Plain bread. The fillings did not make it towards the bottom half so half of the sandwich is wasted since I'm not one to eat plain bread when what I've ordered was supposed to be a sandwich. They took that long...to make THIS? Really? This place was so bad that even if you did just have money to throw around like that, it still wouldn't be worth a try. I was so excited to try this new spot!! It's located inside Bober Tea on Calvine so it's an addition to the Bober and Mochinut inside. It's MOMO's soft opening right now so it was really packed and the service was pretty slow. It's about $7-8 per slider and then $12-13 per full-sized sando so it can get pretty pricey. I got the spam, egg and nori sando, CLASSIC combo and so so yummy! The eggs were creamy with japanese mayo and melty cheddar cheese. The milk bread was thick and was a perfect boat for the sando. The spam and nori offered a salty element which pulled all the flavors together. My friend got the bulgogi slider and she really enjoyed it as well. read more

3.5/5 Stars Gosh, I feel super mixed about this spot, because I like the design and the concept, but I do feel that the quality of the food could've been better executed. My sandwich looked delicious upfront, but I found it to be very bready (dense, slightly hardened crust at the bottom without a lot of filling). In terms of the filling itself, I thought it was still tasty! I did wish there was a little more sauce mixed throughout or prepared on the side. The toast was very buttered (may lead to a "heavy" feeling when eating), so I'd probably recommend having some sort of refreshing tea-based drink to cut through the oiliness. Service was quick & this is hosted in the same storefront for Bober Tea, so I found the seating area to be cute with many pic-worthy opportunities! read more
Momo is extremely pretty in pink themed...all of it, like bismuth subsalicylate was splashed all over the walls and then covered with flowers and Glittery Disco Balls. Its cute and appreciated the effort created a dream spot for girls that love pinky. Quick kiosk ordering system and you pick up the food at the counter, very convenient and easy! The tea we ordered were standard flavored teas. The main thing was the sandos and they're huge! Packaging was so cute! It's a lot saucy...esp w/ the Momo sauce which taste like kewpie and tankatsu...with the eggs and egg bread cooked in all things buttery...taste bud overload. And it's so much that's you may develop an aversion to fried eggs for a bit, like my dining companion. But we get it, Elk Grove...fun food snacks. read more
I have been waiting to try one of these sandwiches for a while now. We stopped in a few weeks ago and this shop is BUSY. Parking in convenient but I noticed people kept leaving the door open for the entire 30-40 minutes I was here and in this heat, that is not cool! Pun intended. The shop is just as adorable as everyone says and it's clear they put a lot of work into the aesthetic. As for the food, the sandwich is a bit pricey and it comes in elaborate packaging. Like, maybe too elaborate. As cute as it is, it makes it difficult to actually eat the sandwich, especially on the go. Also, the sandwich is incredibly messy. I got the sandwich with spam and there were a lot of flavors going on. The sandwich was a bit creamy for my taste but it did fill me up. My sister and I were excited to find that a new Korean Egg Shop opened up at one of the Bober locations we frequent in the Sac/Elk Grove area. We ordered our sandwiches and didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes to get them. Staff were busy but on top of orders -- it was a packed Sunday afternoon and lots of people kept coming in. I ordered the spicy pork sandwich with avocado -- the spicy pork sandwich seemed to be one of the more popular ones here. The presentation was nice and clean, the sandwich was decent compared to other eggdrop sandwich places I've been to. The bread could be less buttery and while the presentation was solid, it would have ideal to have add ons (avocado) distributed throughout instead of just the top of the sandwich. Overall, the price matches what you're paying for. read more

A very tasty egg sandwich for the perfect light snack in the go. Through a little messy, the sandwich is located in a very esthetic cute boba tea cafe. Such a cute place with tasty drinks. We tried the cookie butter smoothie (10/10), pink pear with non boba ( 7/10), hazelnut milk tea with popping passion fruit boba (6/10). Service was good and fast, the staff was kind even when the kids went upstairs to see the boba pool pit due to the sign didn't say closed the staff was so kind. Got one of the cheaper sliders here for 8$. I waited a few minutes, not too bad. But i finished it in a few bites. In my opinion the slider was good but not too sure if its worth the price read more
