Disappointed today when I came Panera for lunch. I was hoping they had changed their table service policy. They have not. There is no table service since their December policy change. So if you are alone, you can't put your things down at a table or get your coffee because you have to be waiting on the food. And if it's a busy lunch time you could lose your table when you go to pick up your food. I don't be coming to Panera for lunch anymore. read more

This is just an average Panerra location. Staff is just okay, not very friendly, not quick to get food out. The location could be maintained a bit better and the staff could use a few walkthroughs to clean tables up between customers. I used to love this chain, but has gone down a bit over the years! We went there for lunch with a friend so it is not the regular location and wow the total lack of interest in customer service. At the counter we couldn't decide so we were standing off to the side a bit and the clerk just stood there waiting for us to decide not looking behind me I didn't notice the folks behind me but when I turned around I saw 5 people standing behind me. I had to tell them to go ahead of us, at my regular location they ALWAYS take the person ready to order first. When we were ready we went to another clerk and again at my regular location they ask if I have a Panera card this guy was annoyed when I said I had a card and gave him the number. When I finally got my food I wanted to send it back. I got the chicken apple and cheddar sandwich, the meat was finely chopped and the few apple slices were very thinly sliced and I really didn't even realize they were on the sandwich. I know I won't be back at that location gain. I don't know if it is staff or management but when I am spending money I go to locations that appreciate my money. I went through the Panera drive thru in Deerfield beach, Florida and I am so disappointed. I have pneumonia and all I wanted was a satisfying bread bowl. I don't eat at Panera as frequently as I used to, and after this visit I probably won't be back. It took 15 minutes for a lousy half grilled cheese & cup of tomato soup, which wasn't delivered to the table (although food runners were delivering to other tables). Sandwich was cold & hard, soup was lukewarm, and at $9.51 was a rip-off. They used to offer a pastry for $0.99 with purchase of a U-pick 2, but that wasn't offered, otherwise I would have purchased one. Parking is difficult at this location. read more

Ok, it's true. The food is Panera good and I really cannot complain at all. The service is its sticky point. They don't remember anything and tend to get the orders messed up. They are friendly though so I bumped up the star level. Management needs to do a better job of training their staff though. read more

Seriously, you'd think I'd learn my lesson by now. After a few more attempts at going to this panera I think I've kind of given up on it. Last time I went was with my mom, she had a Mediterranean chicken panini with autumn squash soup which was alright. I ordered frontega chicken sandwich and broc soup. I should have expected the watery soup however I'm currently pregnant and as I was picking out the onions from my sandwich and noticed the chicken was completely uncooked; since when is chicken suppose to be pink/purple with noticeable veins in it. Furthermore my mom took it back up to the manager to get it changed and show him and he said it's the way it's suppose to be because it's smoked. What???? Thank goodness he said he would change it for whatever else anyways but after this I can't trust it anymore. I'm so glad that I have a thing against onions and looked inside the sandwich. I wish there was a way to give negative stars. Let me start by saying that I am a huge fan of panera. I just moved off SW 10th and power line right down the street and my boyfriend and I brought my friend here for lunch when she came to see our new place. The cashier that took our order was so nice! Everything seemed to be going well. Let me start by saying that I have never been to a panera where they bring your food. So we waited for our food like I have done at every other panera. I see an employee grab the food that I thought was ours and start walking around as we were waiting on the third dish. After we had stood there for five minutes waiting for the food the girl behind the counter asked us what the name for our food was. I told her. She then became very snotty and rude. She told us we needed to sit down and our food would be brought, as if we were stupid to be waiting there. The 18 year old food runner had two of our three plates in his hands. I asked if I could grab the third for him, he said "just sit down". Then we waited five minutes for the third plate to be brought and watched the food runner texting on his phone and messing around as we waited. They did not give my friend a spoon so my boyfriend went inside to get one. The same snotty rude girl making the food acted as if he was asking her to do aeronautical space engineering when he asked for a spoon. Food was not hot. Soup was barely warm. Snotty rude teenage staff. Pretty sure the nice cashier was on drugs but he was the only not miserable rude employee there so yay drugs. Good job panera! Typical Panera ...food was ok, I got a pick 2 soup and salad . Salad had little to no dressing, soup was semi warm definitely not hot. Service in the dining room was good . Biggest complaint would be the girl who took my order, Julia . Very unfriendly, rude, didn't ask for my Panera card or phone number , I had to tell her to use my number to get rewards . This is the worst panera I've ever been to in my life. There's 3 coworkers standing at the sloppy preparation area talking loud about God while one person, Diego does everything. I only know his name because he asked out of frustration for people to help him and they made fun of him. My panini was soggy and the chicken was over cooked. Yuck, disgusting! Do not come here! Every time I come to this place I leave promising not to come back again... but here I am again. However this time I've decided to write a review for the following reason: I ordered a sandwich and a soup from the pic 2 menu. I was then approached and was told that they'd ran out of avocados and didn't give me a choice to get anything else, they just plainly said "we are out of avocados" after a long pause I opted for my second best option to replace my sandwich. Thinking I was getting my food promptly after that, what I got was a real surprise when I was approach by the server with the news that they had run out of the soup. I got upset and asked to speak with a manager but he/she didn't come to my table. Thinking that they were probably too busy, I then decided to order a salad instead of the soup. Unfortunately this salad was tasteless and boring. To make it short,!let me just finish by saying that the manager never showed up so I left promising to never come back to this place again. They are constanly changing the people there and quite often the new people cant handle the register. What makes it worse is they get defensive and blame you. Case in point on Friday Jan. 9, 2016 a new person took my usual order, told me the price, which was half, so I questioned it, she left part of it off. Then I asked for hot water and was told "they were bearing it" After waiting about five minutes I asked again so she walked into the kitchen and annouced "there is a grumpy old man asking for hot water". A young man came out and said he has seen me there many times in the past year and got me some hot water. As long as as she is there I will go to Corner Bakery!!!!!!!! read more

My husband and I decided to go out last night for dinner. We ended up at Panera Bread on Hillsboro Boulevard in Deerfield Beach. The young man at the counter seem to be in patient with us as I told him it was our first time there and we wanted to read the menu. I told him he can go ahead and wait on the person behind us until we decided. I decided on a chocolate latte coffee and a sandwich my husband did not get coffee and a sandwich. He gave us a clicker and told us to go find a chair and when our dinner was ready the clicker would go off. The clicker did go off and no one told us where to go we found out where we had to go and we picked up our dinner when we got back to the table I realized I didn't have my coffee so I went back to where we picked up our dinner and my coffee was still there. I brought my coffee back to the table and it was ice cold. I am assuming that the young fella that took our order had our coffee made immediately even before our food was made because he told the young girl next to him go make a cafe latte chocolate latte. I told my husband that the coffee was ice cold and he said let me go and get another one and when it came back it was the same cup she had shoved it in the microwave and asked him do you want it just heated or do you want it steaming? He said just heated so when he brought my coffee back in the same coffee in the same cup it was just lukewarm. We won't be back. read more
