Finally open!:) This new Panera is in a cute plaza in Deerfield Beach, Right next to Chipotle and across from Aldi. First Panera i have seen with a Drive Thru! Thats kinda awesome! Its even moving quickly in lunch time and seem to be very efficient. I Love the Thai Chicken Salad, The Greek Salad, and my fav the Broccoli Cheddar. The Drive Thru option is awesome, cuz when i walk in and see all the bakery goods, i wanna cry. They all look so good and tempting. Good luck on the new location! read more

I was headed out to the beach and needed to grab something quick for breakfast. I drove right by Dunkin Donuts when I saw the line wrapped around the building, but then I noticed this newer Panera long US1 and they have a drive-thru! I was trying to avoid going in anywhere as my beach attire wasn't really restaurant appropriate. I don't see many Panera drive-trus, so they get an extra star just for that. I ordered an the egg white breakfast sandwich with turkey sausage, spinach, tomato and cheese. I have to commend Panera that they really try in keeping healthy options available on the menu, and they list the calories, so you know what you're getting into, and not everything there is low calorie. The sandwich was much better than I expected it to be. I figured it would be skimpy and the whole grain bread would make it taste like cardboard, but it had a lot of flavor, and I would definitely get it again. The girl who was operating the drive thru was very friendly, and service was just as fast as it would be at DD...so I think I will make this my quick Deerfield breakfast stop from now on. read more

I go inside to order because the drive thru was long. They have one lady to work the counter with a line of customers. Of course the person at the front of line had to order 4 dozen bagels sliced. So we all just stand there while this poor cashier is literally running around to fill the order and the manager walks by a few times and doesn't help. I finally ask the Manager can't anyone help her and she walks to back of restaurant and doesn't come back. Anyway, I left and went to Dunkin Donuts. The coffee is bland and never hot either, so I will continue to go to Dunkin or elsewhere. read more

I thought I was the only one who had horrible experiences with the Deerfield Beach Panera location. I wonder if management reads these things. I would never return to this place if it wasn''t for my daughter. She loves the Pesto Sacchitini and surprise surprise. the last SIX TIMES we ordered it, it was 86'd... Same with other pasta offerings, frozen drinks, and sodas. Seriously how does a restuarant run out of SODA?? I suppose I am a bit demanding as I used to run kitchens. but really, it's very simple if details are paid attention to and NO DETAILS are paid attention to in the case of this Panera location. It's rather sad as the location is primo and the management team is blowing what could be a gold mine. How can they fix it? Easy, have food in the house to execute your menu. Panera is basically the same in all locations. I did want to post this review in the hopes that mgmt takes customer feedback seriously. A few weeks ago I told the manager that the toaster machine keeps me from coming in.. It is a squeaky sound like nails on a chalk board that you can hear from every corner of the place.. Think I am being petty go in for yourself and see if it doesn't drive you crazy!! Anyways managers says " I know, it's so annoying..." But does nothing.. I. I can not begin to explain how bad this place is. Unfortunately it's the closest bagel location to our home so we have given them chances after chances to only be amazed as to how much they can mess things up. Inaccurate orders, bad service, etc. However, the worst is that they are ALWAYS out of bagels. Like go at 8am, 9am, 10am..... out of bagels. I understand if it's 5pm and it's been a whole day of selling bagels but at 8am? Really. We are 0-8 on this place on getting bagels. It's not rocket science; Mondays, Saturdays and Sundays stock up on bagels as this is when consumers, you know the customers will purchase the most. Time to find another bagel joint. read more

My mother and I LOVE Panera it's clean and quiet enough to have a conversation Great selection of pastry, sandwiches, salads (love), and delicious hazelnut coffee (fave). What you say about waste more then 20 min in line because is only one register to attend lots of confused old people in the middle of the day around 3:00pm ?...I lost my patience and I left with only 15 min of my lunch time ! I'd say slow service but there was no service. It was well staffed, a slow Sunday morning and no acknowledgement from any employee. No employee wanted to help another employee, it was as though each was given one task and that was all they had to worry about. Guy behind the counter moved slowly, the staff just seemed like they were just there to collect a check and not provide any kind of service, let alone the kind of service that comes at a sit down fast casual coffee house like Panera. This Panera location is close to my work so I frequently go for lunch. There is rarely a wait and your food is prepared in 5 minutes. This location is clean and has plenty of seating. The downside is they frequently get your side of bread, Apple or chips mixed up but are quick to fix it. Today I ordered the pick 2, Mediterranean flatbread and upon suggestion of the cashier a bread bowl Mac and cheese. It was really good and the food was prepared really well. For the $14 spent I got a drink, cookie, and the pick 2 which is a very good deal in my opinion. read more

Went today and got a pick two. A modern caprese pannini and French onion soup. There was only tomato spread and arugula in the sandwich no mozzarella. The French onion soup had no cheese either. I have had the soup before and there was cheese. The pannini was a joke. This was not the first time that items listed were not included. I think this is the last time I will go there. It is expensive for a drive through and it's like they don't care whether you get the items u ordered as listed on the menu. read more

This place is a joke. Two suggestions: (1) DO NOT place a rapid pick-up order online thinking that you can just walk in and pick it up off the shelf. Because it WILL NOT be ready and when it is finally ready, it won't be correct. (2) DO NOT use the drive-thru. Your order WILL NOT be correct. And this is not a review from a one time experience. I've tried this about 20 times, thinking that this time they will get it together. WRONG! Last night, I placed an order for bagels to be picked up this morning at 11:30. When I pull up to the window, I am told that there are no bagels. Period. Don't you think it would have been nice for them to give me a call to let me know they were out of bagels BEFORE I arrived to pick them up?! Go to the Panera Bread in Pompano Citi Centre. Stay away from this place unless you want to constantly receive incorrect orders and find "extra ingredients" in your food. This place is right by my house, so I come here often, but not anymore. More than half of the times I have been here, I was either missing something from my order or received the incorrect order. That is not even the bad part. I have found a hair in my food before, and I'm not talking about a hair from a person's head. I'm not sure why I even went back again, but I found a piece of paper and a piece of plastic in my sandwich last night. I called and spoke to the manager and she seemed like she could care less. I tried their drive through see how's the service. Well, I placed my order and I was told to drive to the window. I got to the window and no one showed up to see why even I was there, so I waited for 5 min and I can see that the employees are looking at me and still no one comes to the window, finally this guy comes and gives me my pastry order and another girl shows up and she realizes that the person who took my order at drive through has left everything just as is and hasn't complete my order yet, I paid and she apologized for employees lack of customer service and delay, then she went and made my latte. At least she helped but the latte cup was not even full. It was filled around three quarters and the latte was cold . Never trying them again. read more

This is my least favorite Panera - service rarely looks pleased, and they do not bring food to your table (unlike other Covelli Panera locations in Broward County). At times no one is at the register, and the lay-out of the restaurant is not aesthetically pleasing (what's behind the register is hardly appealing). THe salads I get sometimes come with dressing on the side and sometimes not, hardly consistent. This Panera sucks. They constantly get orders wrong, particularly in drive-thru, and staff is unbelievably rude and apathetic. If you hate your job so much and work in customer service, you should probably do everyone a favor and find another line of work. It blows my mind how this place can mess up a menu item with 5 ingredients. Drive-thru can also take up to 10 minutes to get your food so be prepared to wait...likely for the wrong order. read more

Worst experience in of any Panera I have EVER been too. Staff messed up order twice then tried to accuse us of making the mistake, even though they repeated the order back. This place has to be the worst Panera location of the South Florida region. They cannot do a single thing right or proper. Simple order, Asiago bagel lightly toasted with butter and coffee with cream and sugar. I get an untoasted Onion bagel with no butter and ice fucking cold plain black coffee. Other times I ordered a Turkey Bacon Bravo that came on hard bread with like 2 pieces of turkey. And they want 8 bucks for this garbage. Never again. Don't do it to yourself either. The staff is very friendly and the food is pretty good. The bathrooms can be messy and the dining room feels sticky.

Absolutely horrible service run by people that don't seem to know what they are doing. Had to wait 20 minutes for a frozen mocha as the food staff just decided it wasn't important to start until I waited 15 minutes and asked where it was. went through the drive through here and they messed up 3 of our orders. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on an asiago cheese bagel and all I got was a plain bagel. like what??? My friend asked for the avocado and egg white sandwich and got egg and bacon on bread. To make matters worse, I walked in to get it fixed and I was redirected to 3 different people, the first saying I did not have to pay for my fixed sandwich (she was very sweet), and the last saying I did have to pay, and acted very rudely to me. This is by far the worst Panera Bread I have ever been to. It's awful. Do not even consider modifying your order from what is printed on the menu board, because your order will be wrong. Example: I ordered a steak and white cheddar panini with no onions. They loaded it up with onions. Also ordered the Fuji Apple Chicken Salad with all romaine and no field greens. They gave me a salad with romaine and field greens. Save your energy and don't bother placing a "Rapid Pickup Order." There's nothing rapid about it. It won't be ready when you arrive, despite the fact that you are able to select your pickup time. Likewise, they will have no idea that you ordered a drink, and you'll either have to ask them for a cup or wait for them to make your latte. It's really not worth the frustration. The drive-thru is the worst! Don't even try it. They also manage to get your order wrong. And not only do they get your order wrong, they will forget at least 2 of the items you ordered. So make sure to check your bag before you drive away. As other reviewers said, pick another location. The one in Pompano on Federal has excellent efficient service, and your order is always correct. read more

THERE IS A DRIVE THRU!! Wow, I think that is genius. I love Panera's healthy egg white breakfast sandwiches. Their coffee and smoothies are so yummy as well. Their breakfast is way better than getting those other fast food breakfasts (you never know what they have in them and 90% of the time they aren't good for you). Used to be really fantastic service with the rapid pickup! Would order every day for the freshness of the salads and the consistent awesomeness of not having to deal with people and lines. Literally would order my salad to perfection over my phone and it would be sitting on shelf ready for me 8 minutes exactly (or earlier)! Always so fresh and yummy. Now, if you order Rapid Pickup over the phone, you will go stand and wait around like an idiot for 15 minutes while all of the employees run around like chickens with their heads cut off, finally for someone to say "are you waiting for a rapid pick up?? Oh, it's right here!" This has happened the last couple of times to me and friends but I keep trying for better service bc it's so good Terrible service. Too bad :( read more

If you go through the drive threw make sure you check your order. They always mess up on my orders, weather it's the wrong bread or they forget the meat entirely. They are so close to my house and I go a few times a week but after today I'm done. 10 bucks for a sandwich and they can't get it right. It's on your menu. I really hope management corrects these issues and gets employees who can read the menu to make the food. read more

Have to agree with the other reviews. Been here a few times, service very poor including the assistant manager who just ignored me standing there waiting to place order. Much like a couple of previous reviews, the rapid pickup option/drive thru was a disaster. Our prepaid order was incomplete. Make sure you check your order before you leave. The customer service was equally as poor when we spoke to the manager. The bottom line...they WILL screw you at the drive thru. read more

I being there the past few weeks and they have done a really good job, I sometimes get a breakfast sandwich or an Italian combo and the always make it the way I want it and fast, I love the that cashier is always in a happy mood ( I think his name was andreas or andris idk he had a weird name) but yeah this place has done an excellent job. read more
