Wanted to try their Pork Pan Fried Dumplings and the Soup Dumplings... and curious about the robot. The chow was just ok. The robot delivering the food was cool to see. When the robot is the best part of lunch, there's no reason for me to return.

It's funny the name is called Serious Dumplings when your food is served by a robot, however, the food is quite serious... and delicious. The portions are ample to share. The restaurant is mostly self serve, you can order via QR code, food is delivered by a robot, you take your own plates, utensils and water from a central area. There are humans on site if help is needed.

This is a good little place to try out some dumplings. They have a robot serving your food so it's really cool for kids. The employees are also friendly and helpful. Not all the dishes were to our taste but some dumplings were delicious.

Food: 8/10 Service: 8/10 Ambiance: 8/10 If you love dumplings, they have a variety from steamed to pan fried in chicken, shrimp, steak and pork/chives. You can also get soup dumplings in the same options in addition to crab/chicken. If you don't like dumplings there's also various stir fry, fried noodles, and fried rices with the same proteins. They also have a dozen different boba flavors and various teas. You won't be disappointed, especially when the robot brings your food lol.

Had an amazing dinner with my boyfriend. Delicious food, quick service, and the cutest decor!

Seriously good! This is on the top of my list for casual Chinese food. It blows away the tired menu's that we have become accustomed to. Their menu has a nice selection of dim-sum, soups, entrees, and milk teas, I stopped by for lunch and went with the Lychee Milk tea and beef fried noodles. The meal came out quickly with the cutest robot. She brought a smile to my face. Productive lil' robot too -- she was in and out of the kitchen at least 5 times in 2 minutes delivering people's plates. I'll definitely be back. This is a fun place to sample a variety of dim sum's.

Food was very delicious. My girlfriend was very excited about the vegetable dumplings. I was excited for their soup dumplings which didn't disappoint. The service is self serve which I've noticed is everywhere in Florida. The place was a bit off compared to other Asian places. I felt like they could improve it a bit. I dont agree with a review that says that it is pricey. With all due respect if you can't afford to eat there then McDonalds is a 5 minute walk. This place reminds me of a place that is near my hometown back in Georgia. But for Florida i recommend this place. 10/10

I was super excited to try this place. I have conflicting feelings. The soup dumplings and sichuan chicken were great! I did wish the soup dumplings had more flavor inside but one of the best in town. The duck bao bun was actually not my favorite as it had a very strong sauce that overpowers the duck. We also got pork buns and they had 3 tiny pieces of pork in them. I have had them elsewhere before and they were nothing close to the other places. Will be back only for soup dumplings and the chicken dish. The robot is cool and the fact that all to go boxes were readily available for customers were great.

This place is so cute! I recently visited Serious Dumplings in Boca Raton. You can either order at the counter or from your table using a QR code, making it super convenient. The best part? A robot delivers your food right to your table. The dumplings were fresh & flavorful. There's no shortage of variety, so there's something for everyone to enjoy. To top it off, they also serve Boba.

New dumpling place opened up in Boca so I had to try it. The food was not bad, not as flavorful as I thought it would be. There's a cute robot that delivers your food to you. You sit down and scan a QR code and pretty much order from the table. Pretty simple, straight forward and efficient. Soup dumping - the consistency and soup was there but the flavor was lacking a little. Duck bao - not bad but had too much sauce on it. Overall 3 1/2 stars. The place is not bad! If you've never had soup dumplings before and you're in the area, give it a try!

Garlic Shanghai green (just cooked bok choy), sesame chicken, and inedible cucumber salad

This was terrible. Abnormally bad. Firstly, the atmosphere is not remotely friendly, you just sit down and order on mobile. You have to sign up on the website you got the QR code from to even finish an order , so might as well stand up and go to the front with the cashier to make your order before sitting back down. They don't have anyone serving you so you need to pick up your own paper plates, plastic cup, napkins and utensils like you're some plebeian at a potluck. You will not be asked how is the food or if there's anything they can make your experience less deplorable. Extremely different atmosphere than the Coral Springs location. The one at Coral Springs you're treated like you're at an actual restaurant with adequate service, there was actual wait time to sit down and eat there because people actually want to eat there. The Boca Raton location on the other hand , doesn't have any wait time and I can totally see why. We ordered sesame chicken (with rice), bok choy, cucumber salad, steamed pork dumplings (8 pieces), crystal shrimp dumplings (6 pieces), and steamed pork buns (3 pieces). Totaled up to 63 bucks. Compared to a regular dimsum - this was grossly overpriced for the quantity and especially quality you get. I only took a single picture of the first three items listed because of how visually egregious this was. The best items were the dumplings and buns because honestly - they were probably not made by these people and just heated up in some way. So let's talk about what they did make to some meaningful capacity. Chicken was essentially vague glued chicken nuggets drenched in a sauce that did not taste remotely like sesame - just weirdly tangy. Didn't try the rice , could've been the best thing there but I'll never know now. The Bokchoy was alright , it was just cooked with a very watery soy sauce and questionably cut garlic pieces- which tells me whoever is cooking does not know what they're doing. Last not but not least is the cucumber salad. Oh my God..... absolutely disgusting. Shriveled and old cucumber was used, as you can see. The marination? It does not exist just like the service of this establishment. They just threw this on top of some sugary sauce. The flavor of whatever sauce this is oyster sauce or some grossly sweet slight savory syrup . There was NO ginger, garlic, sesame seeds, sesame oil, chili flakes/oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar - basically almost anything that would qualify this to be a legit cucumber salad. Just basically a feeble borderline rotten cucumber with random poorly cut pieces of RED onion (???) and God knows what sauce sitting in the bottom. The chili oil that is on the table consisted of black burnt remnants of debris with oil- it had absolutely NO spice or kick to it- I absolutely have no idea what the hell is wrong with this place. We had a robot roll by to deliver our dishes and roll away once we picked them up. Unfortunately after this visit , I'm probably not even gonna bother ever going back to Serious Sanji at any capacity because this was abhorrent. I personally do not see this specific location surviving in Boca Raton for very long. I'll continue making an approximately 30 minute commute in order to enjoy an actual dimsum place that has decent service, justified pricing and authentic food.

I was beyond excited to try this place. It's too far from my apt to justify driving here for just this place but my new job is down the street so I guess I'll be here often. I did not enjoy the fact that I was unsure about how to be seated. Guy seemed annoyed to say "sit anywhere and use the QR code to order". That might be a lil difficult for less tech savvy individuals. Food came out by robot. The food was good yall. And very warm. You can tell it was made right there in house. Would've been nice to receive my Boba tea before my food came. Very quiet and spacious place. Not a huge place. It's located in a strip mall so it could fill very quickly. But the decor was very quirky and I loved it. I would definitely recommend coming earlier for a lunch than a dinner bc this place is good.

Came here at 6:30pm and it was packed! The robotic food delivery was instagramable for those who aren't used to it but honestly the restaurant is a bit small to have multiple robots AND customers getting up to grab their own silverware. Maybe place the silverware on table to avoid crowding? Anyway....food was ok for Asian food in South Florida. The dumplings were not made fresh. Coming from San Francisco I would have to say I could probably go to a local Asian supermarket and get the same ones that were served to me tonight String beans and house fried rice were decent. Noodles had a piece of an egg shell so I showed the manager and got refunded ‍ I guess the best bites were the Bao buns? A little ironic that this place is called Serious Dumpling when they are literally serving frozen dumplings? However, adjusted for Florida this place is a 3.

There was plenty of parking in front of this executive park where Red Pine in the lobby. Happy hour is daily from three until six and all day on Sunday. The menu includes discounted cocktails, and five small appetizer samples to start. When we arrived, the bar was full, there wasn't a seat to be had. The restaurant is beautiful, it felt like an Asian vacation. We were seated st a comfortable round table with a big Lazy Susan in the center. We started by sharing chicken dumplings that were full of flavor, crispy sticky spareribs that were cooked to perfection and eggrolls with a mustard and duck sauce. For dinner, we shared an order of duck two ways with angry pig fried rice. The fried rice was filled with vegetables and juicy chunks of meat. I wrapped the Peking Duck in the four wrappers with vegetable and hoisin sauce it was awesome. The second pork was wrapped in lettuce, leaves with pickled daikon and other flavorful crispy vegetables. Portions were generous, prices were reasonable for the quality of our meal and our waitress was amazing.

Tucked away, low key, almost hiding in plain sight. You walk in expecting corporate coffee and awkward small talk... and instead you find upscale, elegant Chinese food that feels like it belongs in a much flashier zip code. This place is worth the hunt. Inside, it's polished without being stiff. Clean, calm, and quietly confident. The kind of place that doesn't need to shout because it knows exactly what it's doing. We went family style, which is the move here. Portions are generous, built for sharing, built for trying everything, built for making bad decisions in the best way. Started with the wonton soup. The wontons themselves? Excellent. Tender, flavorful, clearly made with care. The broth had depth, real flavor, not just salty filler. Only note... I wish it came out hotter. It showed up just above room temp, which felt like a missed opportunity because the flavor deserved better. Then the pork egg rolls showed up and completely stole the show. Game over. Crispy on the outside, not greasy, packed with flavor. Every bite hit. This wasn't just a good egg roll. This was the best egg roll I've had in Florida. No debate. No hesitation. Crown it. Shrimp shu mai came next and changed the pace in the best way. Light, delicate, elegant. Like the calm after the egg roll storm. Then the mains landed. Beef with sesame and broccoli. Absolute winner. Cooked just right, balanced, rich without being heavy. The kind of dish you keep going back to even when you tell yourself you're full. Chicken lo mein sealed the deal. No gimmicks. Just done right. Noodles had the perfect texture, everything balanced, everything working. Final verdict. Five stars. Easy. Hidden location. Elevated food. One minor temperature hiccup that didn't stand a chance against how good everything else was. Find it. Order too much. Thank me later.

This time, we brought our family and drove a full hour to get there, but we were a little disappointed. While eating, we noticed trash under the table, which was quite off-putting. One of the lava buns tasted very strange -- I almost threw up. It was really unpleasant. The durian pastry was also different from before; it no longer had the flaky layers, and the oil used for frying didn't seem fresh and looked quite dark. The portion of the pig's ear dish also felt smaller than before. Overall, it feels like the quality has dropped quite a lot compared to our previous visit.

But for lunch, what they do have is a dim sum menu -- and that's what we ordered from... We started with small soups (from the regular menu). I got some wonton soup which was just okay. His hot and sour soup was much better -- with lots of "stuff" in it! We then shared turnip cakes for which they brought out hoisin sauce. I asked for some hot mustard and mixed a bit together with the soy sauce. I liked this pairing better than the sweet sauce. The cakes had bits of pork in it. There were 3 to the order. We also had their chives and shrimp steamed dumplings. These were good. There were 3 to the order. We'd get both of these dim sum choices again. Service was pleasant. They were a little pricier -- but it is Boca. And we'd probably come back again, if in the area.

YES! YES! YES! YES AGAIN!…read more My boyfriend and I had date night last Saturday, and it was our first time dining here. The staff was really nice, the restaurant was super clean, and the ingredients were fresh. I had the spicy Taiwanese soup base. My boyfriend had the Coconut Tom Yum. We enjoyed a nice selection of different meats such as pork, lamb, and beef. Seafood options include shrimp, squid, and octopus. Quail eggs, frog legs (if you're into that :), and tofu. The conveyor belt was super fun because you could watch it as it went by and pick up whatever garnishes you wanted. Green onions, mushrooms, parsley, cilantro, cauliflower ... I could go on and on. We also had dessert. My favorite is the red bean and macha ice cream! Can't wait to go back! ***ALSO order the tea***

This place offers a set price for Hot pot and is buffets style as well as conveyor belt delivery for veggies; you just swipe what you want. You start by picking a soup of choice and then you gather the food you need, cook it yourself in the pot and there are instructions and available on the wall for cooking times. It's relatively straightforward. Be careful with how much you grab as they will charge you for any excessive leftovers. I got the tom kha and my fiance got the tom yum. He found his soup to be a little on the lemony side for his taste but I think that's just a preference not a reflection of the quality of the soup. I loved my coconutty tom kha. Our waiter showed us how to operate the dial and gave us information about cooking time recommendation. We ordered some hot tea and had a wonderful time. The buffet appeared to be clean and the food fresh and well kept. I tried a variety of meat as well as seafood. The shrimp had a little bit of a previously frozen kind of taste but the scallops were excellent. I think in the end I'm not a big fan of the red meat even though it cooks quickly and tastes fine I just think preference wise I more so enjoyed loading up on the vegetables and noodles. The best thing I had there was the gyoza, so freaking good, highly recommend. It is worth noting that my fiance love the meat, so the great thing about this place is the variety and how multiple people can sit down and enjoy what they like, together. Drop by!
