It was a Monday before 11:30am and I was looking for boba tea from Tiger Bobo in Coral Springs, but they were closed. I checked Yelp and saw Dumpling King nearby, so I decided to give it a try. When I walked in, the place was empty since it was still early lunch hours, but it was very clean, organized, and welcoming. I ordered a taro boba tea and the lady at the counter told me about their lunch special that came with 4 dumplings and a chive pancake. I ended up ordering the 8 piece vegetable dumplings to go as well. The boba tea came out quickly, but unfortunately it wasn't good at all. I'd honestly give it a 1/10. I couldn't taste the taro and it wasn't creamy. The dumplings, however, were AMAZING. By the time I got home and tried them with the hot sauce and soy sauce, I was impressed. The filling tasted fresh, with vegetables and thin noodles inside. One side of the dumplings was crispy while the rest stayed soft and tender. You could definitely tell they were made from scratch. They were fresh, filling, and absolutely worth the money. Easy 10/10 for the dumplings. As a vegetarian, my options can be limited, so I was really happy to find a place with such good vegetable dumplings. I could definitely see myself ordering from them again. It also seems like a nice spot for group lunches or family dinners.

Came in for a quick dinner, ordered braised beef noodles soup and shanghai soup dumplings, they were both so good!! You will first notice the generous portion size, and then you will notice how tender the beef pieces are! They make their dumplings fresh in house daily and you can really taste the difference! Servers were friendly and helpful! Great fast casual restaurant and for a great value too!

I treated my brother to the Dumpling King in Coral Springs; it was his birthday. The staff was very friendly and the ambiance was airy and roomy with tables inside and outside. We decided to sit inside due to the South Florida heat. Looking at the menu, we settled on two different types of soup dumplings; beef and chicken. Once it arrived, the food was tasty with a nice soup flavor. Nicely done

If you blink driving down University, you might miss Dumpling King in Coral Springs. That would be a mistake. A delicious, steamy, dumpling-filled mistake. This place is legit dim sum. Not "food court pretending to be dim sum." I'm talking freshly made, straight-up authentic, the kind of spot where you immediately start ordering like you've trained for this your whole life. We opened strong with the eggroll and scallion pancakes. Both absolutely exceptional. The scallion pancake had that crispy outside, chewy inside thing going on that makes you question every other scallion pancake you've ever had. The eggroll? Crunchy, hot, and doing exactly what an eggroll should do. No notes. Next up: pan-fried kimchi dumplings. These were good... but I wanted fireworks. I wanted a flavor parade. Instead, I got more of a polite handshake. Tasty, yes. Explosive? Not quite. The pork and shrimp dumplings redeemed any minor emotional damage. Very good. Juicy, balanced, gone in about 90 seconds. The spicy wontons brought plenty of flavor, but the texture leaned soft and a little soggy. Still enjoyable, just not structurally sound enough to survive my aggressive chopstick enthusiasm. Now let's talk about the cold noodles with sesame sauce. This was different from the usual versions you see around town. The sauce was silky, delicate, and absolutely excellent. The noodles were udon, which gave the dish real substance. This wasn't a light side situation. This was "clear your afternoon" noodles. We ordered like we were feeding a small youth sports team, so there will definitely be leftovers. And honestly, I'm more excited about tomorrow's round two than I should probably admit. Solid four stars. Worth the trip. Authentic. If you love dim sum and aren't afraid to loosen your belt a notch, Dumpling King delivers.

We stopped in for lunch recently. There's plenty of parking outside and inside there are several tables. The woman who took our order was very kind and offered some suggestions about their menu options. We did not wait long before our orders were brought to our table. My daughter had the pork dumplings. They were quite large and filled with lots of meat. She was very impressed. I had the seafood noodle soup. They actually have several soups on their menu, and it would be awesome to come back on a cooler weather day. The broth was quite delicious and there was a generous amount of seafood and noodles. If I could have one wish, it would be for Dumpling King to offer Just a shrimp dumpling. They do have a shrimp and pork dumpling but as a pescatarian, I really wish I could try a shrimp dumpling. I am posting this here with the hope that maybe they'll see it and consider adding it to their menu. Especially as I plan to return in the near future. The Boba teas are excellent here-esp the brown sugar!

We've visited the sister chain location in Pines before but we discovered this location is closer to our home, so yes for the win. It's a very spacious and clean dumpling restaurant with various seating arrangements. When you enter, you order first at the cashier stand and then take a number and find a seat. It got really packed for a Saturday lunch time because they also have weekday specials! We ordered our favorite Shanghai Soup Dumplings which we pair with the hot chili oil and soy sauce combo found on each table. I do wish the dumplings came with a little bit more soup/broth inside. This location doesn't have a glass window where you can see the staff making the dumplings from scratch. We also got the Honey Chicken Wings, which are always a hit.

Dumpling King, you have my heart. We love going to the Pembroke Pines location, this being my first time dining in at Coral Springs. You did not disappoint. My parents and niece LOVED it, they have never been so I took charge ordering a little bit of everything. The service here I truly enjoy they make it easy, you come in order at the counter and then get a number to sit and have everything brought out to you. The sweet girl at the counter was kind enough to read back everything to me and thankfully so because I realized I almost forgot the shrimp and chive fried dumplings. Which should be on your must try list. Any of the soup dumplings are worth a try, I love getting them all or switching it up depending on how large our party is. The wings are some of the best you'll ever eat. I usually opt for the honey garlic flavor. The shrimp and crab dumplings were phenomenal, full of flavor. The spicy wontons are newer and the sauce they come in is just so good I want to dip everything in it. Last but not least the beef noodle soup, this soup is comfort in a bowl. I can't come here without getting it and a brown sugar boba milk tea. This location is spacious with a decent amount of tables but I can see them getting super busy during specific times. This business is a well oiled machine. I wasn't sure if the girl who checked me out was apart of the family but she sure felt like it. The way she beamed ear to ear while helping me and was just so friendly, sharing the new location opening in Boca with so much pride, made me happy to see how happy she was. I was honored to bring my family in and them leave loving this place as much as I do. If you're wondering what to get for lunch or dinner today, this is your SIGN you won't regret it.

Shanghai dumplings, they're chicken and pork steamed dumplings. I will say tricky to eat but once you get the hang of it

Stumbled across this in the area since I've heard great things about this place. I decided to go in. Never had soup dumplings before so this was a first for me. It was different but in a great way. The service was excellent, the cashier in the front was very helpful with all my questions trying to understand as well as recommending the Shanghai dumplings. It's very quiet inside, not too loud. You can relax and enjoy your lunch. Highly recommend this location, I will definitely be coming back

We've heard so many good things about Dumpling King and we finally had the chance to try it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We didn't know what we would like most so we ordered a little bit of everything. All of the food came out very very hot, especially the soup dumplings. I burned my mouth many times and it is a messy cuisine, one that I admit I am not skilled at! However, every bite we had was delicious. My favorite was the fried pork dumplings, they were seasoned perfectly. We enjoyed dipping our dumplings into the spicy wonton sauce. The ambiance is that of a fast casual restaurant. Everything was clean and bright. I would definitely return.

Great place. Very laid back... you go up to the counter and order, pay... and then someone brings out the chow to your table. I came right as they opened, so as lunch hour approached, I noticed regulars come in and order from ordering terminals... makes sense if you know the drill. This is not fast food in the sense that it's made up in advance and you get it quickly, as in some burger joints. They make each item to order, so my order of Pork Soup Dumplings took about 15 or 20 minutes. It was worth the wait! Loved them, perfectly cooked, enough soup in each dumpling. Also, the minimal staff was very nice and professional. Can't wait to return when back in the area. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Great place! The service was great and everything coming out of the open kitchen looked amazing. I got some dumplings and they were authentic and tasty. I saw someone enjoying soup dish that looked delicious. I did a pick up order but next time I will stay to dine. Clean restaurant and nice vibe!

Came here after work on a Thursday evening…read more Was greeted by Ryan who was incredibly kind and quick with the service. He also had a great Panic! at the Disco playlist going! We ordered the veggie fried noodles, crispy cheese wontons, veggie pan-fried dumplings and sesame chicken. The veggie fried noodles were fantastic, had a lot of variety of vegetables, and even bok choy which I've never seen before in a noodle dish. The cheese wontons, while incredible, I'm pretty sure these had crab in them, they definitely weren't just filled with cheese. It had a lot of flavor, but if I were a vegetarian, I might ask the server if they have crab in them. They come with that typical rangoon plum/duck sauce which compliments it perfectly. The pan fried dumplings were just okay. They weren't hot at all which is strange considering we ordered it there fresh. I would definitely skip on these next time. The sesame chicken is a huge portion! It is definitely dark meat, which they don't point out on the menu and I wish that they would considering the person I was with does not eat dark meat, but that just meant more leftovers for me! Very flavorful. I do wish it was a bit more crispy on the outside, but it was still good. We also ordered a taro bubble tea, which unfortunately didn't come out until halfway through the entire meal. They didn't ask how much sugar we wanted in it, which is what they typically do at the other locations, so it was very sugary. With a bubble tea, a diet coke, and all the food we ordered it ended up being a little over $60. Considering we ate there, and both took leftovers home, it's definitely a good deal in terms of quantity. I will definitely be back to Serious Sanji to try other things

My daughter sent me a text message the other day that we need to try Sun Sun Chinese Food Takeout…read more My answer back to her is it better than the place we used to get from and she said yes by allot. So since it was getting late I decided to try them out but I was very disappointed First I called to see if they delivered to Wyndham Lakes and I was told yes but I had to order a minimum of $30 then I asked what time they were open until they said 10PM. So I called back and ordered a whole bunch of different appetizers soup and dishes because it was our first time thinking wow finally another great Chinese Takeout with delivery! Come to find out the total was $110.70 not what the prices showed on many of the apps but it did say prices are subject to change so I'm guessing they thought they found a sucker but I already ordered and probably should have asked before I authorized all of the food I ordered! So first let's start with the house special Wonton Soup. The wontons were soggy the noodle fell apart and whatever mystery meat that were inside the wontons had no flavor and some of it was like grizzlies that I had to remove from my mouth, the soup was like a lightly salted sink water the actual only thing I really liked were the crispy fresh vegetables! I also thought that house special soup had pieces of shrimp chicken and pork but non in ours! Then there were the appetizers ordered two shrimp rolls and two egg rolls the wrappers on them were so thin and falling apart because they were wet and that's a first for me! Then I also ordered burnt pork ends but instead got the strips once again hardly any flavor seemed like they were sitting around for a while almost impossible to chew it was like trying to chew on a car tire! Also ordered spare ribs once again flavorless hard to chew not worth the $16 the man who took my order said very expensive do you still want and me thinking oh my daughter and son in law loved it I said no problem! I also ordered the honey garlic chicken wings which I can say were cooked right and tasted good but they could have used more sauce on them and also the wings were miniature in size! All of the other Chinese food places near us give you giant sized wings Then we ordered the house special fried rice the rice seemed like it was sitting around very dry and not much flavor plus it was more peas and carrots than anything else Also ordered the full house special lo-mien same situation as the fried rice bland the noodles were stuck together so while taking it from the container they ripped apart into small shreds not much house stuff like pork shrimp and chicken mostly carrots and peas! Our last dish was Beef with Broccoli which was so dry missing that good brown sauce that makes the meal plus the broccoli was mushy not crispy and the meat was grizzly hard to chew honestly I don't know what happened because my daughter and son in law know Chinese New York Style really well but to me it seemed like it was rushed and nothing about it was given that fresh tasty food or appearance of such plus the things I ordered from our usual go to place in Coconut Creek is almost half the price and 150% better quality and flavor! I was very disappointed and honestly the people running the store on Wednesday night were very kind and considerate so maybe it was too late as I ordered around 8:45PM but here's my thing I will give them a second chance maybe a month or so and see if it was a one off night but before I order again id like a menu with the correct prices posted somewhere online or if that's not possible if be more than happy to give my email to them! I do hope I can change this review and make it the way I had thought it was going to be! I do hope one of the owners sees this review and would like to speak with me! I'm very forgiving because people make mistakes unless you're rude to me so hopefully this all turns out for the good Thank you Sun Sun!!!

They offer dim sum, so we had some roast pork buns as appetizers. The buns had very little filling and the bread was a bit dry, as if the buns had been sitting in the warmer for awhile. (They are displayed in a warmer as you enter the restaurant.) There is no lunch menu on weekends, so we ordered from the regular menu. Prices averaged $17 to $20 per entree with seafood options averaging $23-$25. All meals are served with white rice. There are no options to switch to fried rice, unless you want to order it as an entree. My friend loves orange chicken, so that's what she ordered. Since the eatery is touted for its roast duck and roast pork, I ordered the latter. We shared both. The pork was a bit salty and a tad dry. And it needed more of it's glaze. Though I am not a fan of orange chicken, this was one of the best I have had. It was sweet, but not overly done. And the coating was light and crispy. The portions were large. We both ate and took home leftovers for our husbands. Service was spotty and rushed with only two people taking care of all the tables. I never got a straw for my glass of water, and it took a few requests to get chopsticks. One appetizer, two entrees, tax, and tip was about $57.
