This place is wonderful! The food was delicious and the server is very attentive. Went with a group of us and all left with a very happy belly! Everything was so delicious it's hard to suggest my favorite! I would definitely recommend you trying it for yourself if you're in the area.

I first got to write about Red Pine when it had opened a couple years ago. I remember we were worried that it wouldn't last. Boca likes its steakhouses and pasta joints. Most things more original rarely last. I'm happy to say that when we popped in the other day the place is alive and well. It always has a decent crowd these days. Their fried rice is great, and the dumplings are one of their specialty's. We have tried and enjoyed many of their appetizers as the happy hour is solid. Great bartenders as well, and good news, they stuff their own olives. It makes for an excellent dirty martini. It's an all around great and original spot to stop in.

The image shows two cocktails on a bar counter. The first cocktail is in a tall glass with a pink hue, garnished with a dried citrus slice and a cherry. The second cocktail is in a martini glass, clear with a lemon wedge as garnish. A menu and additional drinks are visible in the background, with a dark bar surface and a red upholstered bar stool behind.

Red Pine in Boca Raton is an absolute gem -- sleek, modern, and effortlessly elegant. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the upscale vibe -- dim lighting, stylish decor, and that subtle buzz of a place that knows it's doing things right. Everything we've tried has ranged from good to downright awesome -- flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. While it's on the pricier side, the quality and presentation reflect it. If you're looking to experience Red Pine without the full splurge, their happy hour is a great way to go -- still all the flavor, with a slightly lighter hit to the wallet. In terms of authenticity, I'd give it a solid 7 out of 10 -- not the most traditional, but definitely elevated and delicious. The drinks are fantastic as well -- balanced, creative, and complement the food perfectly. We love that it's so close to where we live now -- it's quickly become one of our go-to spots for a nice night out. Between the atmosphere, the quality, and the overall experience, you really can't go wrong with Red Pine.

Who would think that an upscale Chinese restaurant would be hidden on the ground floor of an office building in Boca? Located at one Town Center, Road, this is the old Tyco building and it's in between military Trail and Town Center Mall. There's a big parking garage near the building and there's parking in the back of the building off Military. The inside is decorated beautifully. It's warm and inviting and the bar area is nice with plenty of seating. Met friends at the bar for happy hour. This is one of the better happy hours. Monday - Saturday 3 - 6 and Sunday 3 - 9. Discounted drinks and a nice selection of dumplings and bar bites. We had our share of appetizers. The dumplings were light and filled with bok choy, pork, and chicken. I have to say the chicken was outstanding, it was the sauce that came with it that made them stand out. It was a chili peanut sauce with a little hint of cinnamon. Steamed Bau Buns were tasty. Chinese Sticky Ribs were messy but very, very good. we sampled almost everything on the menu. Those were the standouts and I thought the fried rice was a little bland. All in all the food was good. 3% is added to the check for credit card. It's a great place for happy hour if you can get there before 6 o'clock. I think a nice quiet dinner would be nice there but be prepared to open the wallet.

Went for the first time on New Years day! Place is absolutely beautiful. Service was great, we were seated right away. There is ample parking. They have a nice cocktail menu. For Florida, this chinese food was good.

We had an amazing meal here for Christmas Day. Started with a veggie egg roll & a pork egg roll. Then shrimp toast. These were so good. Then we had the roast 1/2 duck 2 ways and chili garlic shrimp. Both were oh so good. We did not feel rushed. The service was great and so was the ambiance.

Lychee martini and French 75 - The image shows a bar counter with three cocktails placed on black napkins. The drinks include a lychee martini and a French 75. The bar area behind features bottles of alcohol, glassware, and bar equipment, with two patrons seated in the background near large windows that let in natural light. The setting appears to be an upscale restaurant or bar.

Hidden in the ground floor of an office building, we had a difficult time finding red pine. There was plenty of parking in front as we found our way in the front door. Buddhas, umbrellas, lanterns and dragons welcomed us. There were lots of booths and even round red leather booths with a Lazy Susan in the middle. We sat at the big bar for happy hour. It was quiet, they were a few couples and many empty seats on a Friday evening. We enjoyed our cocktails and sampling lots of small plates. Everything from the eggrolls, dollar dumplings, Chinese sticky barbecued ribs, and delicious crispy chili lemon shrimp were flavorful and wonderful. There was a 3% credit card surcharge included. Two drinks each and three small plates with tax and tip totaled $100 . There is an advertised $15 lunch special during the week.

    Pork Dumplings... excellent

I like this place. I have been to the bar for happy hour a few times since my first visit, which was a full meal in the dining room. Not much new to report.... a little inconsistent. If you are looking for serious Chinese food, not the best choice. However, if you stick to the apps, particularly the dumplings, you can enjoy yourself, particularly at HH when the prices are reduced. Pork Long Dumplings, Cucumber Salad, Dan Dan Noodles, Soup Dumplings (regular menu), Brussel Sprouts (sauce on side as they drench it otherwise), WonTon Soup (reg menu) are ok to order. Wine by glass only $7 at happy hour. Sarah is a real plus at the bar... she provides excellent, caring service. The ambiance is excellent. BAR RECOMMENDED

Went with my daughter for happy hour which was wonderful. Sasha he was our bartender and was very efficient and attentive. We definitely over ordered but well worth it. We ordered the bok choy dumplings, chili lemon shrimp, brussel sprouts, ribs, scallion pancake and the plain fried rice. Everything was delicious. The place is very pretty and super clean.

Service was fantastic!! Everything came out quickly and was hot! Ambiance was super cool, a little dark, but overall, unique! My criticisms: the food was heavy and flavors were varying from tasteless to an almost identical Asian style. We ordered the shrimp toast, sea-bass, and lobster fried rice. Two of the 3 were fried which wasn't mentioned by either the waiter or the menu. Why would you batter and fry sea-bass? Did not enjoy, especially for the price tag of $40. The fried rice was fresh and utterly tasteless. The green tea was delicious as were the crispy wontons. Not worth the money.

*Edamame but with a lot of ocean sea salt
    Michael P.

After hearing about this place from others we tried it. The good --nice vibe -staff was pleasant and friendly --and most of the food was terrific. Duck is 5 stars -sesame beef 4 stars --egg roll 5 stars but the shrimp toast was a 1-really greasy and the endamane really tasted like an ocean salt by the beach (some may like it).. we would have given a 3:5 star but not a option so graded down because when they asked how the shrimp toast we did say greasy -and then they sad Xx nothing or offered us something... would we come back? Yes --hopefully next time a better rating and that all food up to par.

I fell in love with Red Pine. My hubby and I have become regulars here for the happy hour; but the menu on the happy hour and the regular menu are both awesome. In addition to the happy hour menu, I think we prefer sitting at the bar because we love the bartenders so much (Sara is my girl). The drinks are on point and the food is always great... love the ribs, all the different types of fried rice, dumplings, lo mien and the duck And what a hidden gem, not by anything (inside an office building where Tyco used to be).

Do they have happy hour food?

Yep drinks and food. We like it. Their dirty martini is solid.

It looks like the reviews are sort of iffy. Would like to try a happy hour or a lunch. is there a lunch menu? Or maybe small plates to sample during happy hour?

I was there recently and the food was super delicious. The thing is that people are now so quick to give bad reviews for no reason.

There are places you go for the food... and there are places you go for the view. Patio Bar & Grill…read morehas made a very clear decision about which lane it's in. We came here with friends and I'll give credit where it's due. The beach view is spectacular. The kind of view that makes you forget your phone exists for a minute. Ocean, breeze, the whole postcard situation. Absolutely nails it. And then the food shows up... and things take a turn. I went with the blackened fish sandwich. Cooked properly, no complaints there. But flavor? It felt like it forgot to show up for work. Just kind of... there. Unfortunately, that wasn't even the low point. My wife went with the fish tacos and called them straight up terrible. Not "meh." Not "could be better." Terrible. And that pretty much set the tone for the table. So now we're not talking mid anymore. We're talking mid-to-poor across the board when it comes to food. This is still a great spot to sit, relax, and enjoy a drink while staring at the ocean and pretending you didn't come here hungry. If you're coming for the food, just know you're here for the view that happens to serve meals, not the other way around. Pro tip: only do the outdoor seating. The view is the whole reason you came here. Inside, you're just eating disappointing food without the ocean doing heavy lifting. Two stars. The view is doing everything it can, but it can't season the fish.
